Going to invest in this this month, and had a couple of questions -

What cycle day should I start? I think I O'd day 21 last cycle but not 100%, and still sorting cycle out after getting implant out

Do you have to do FMU? My issue is I wake up at least once a night to go to the loo. If I wake at 5, does that mean I do it then and go back to bed? I'd rather do every day after work but don't want to skew results.

How often do you DTD when smile starts flashing?
Thanks

I started on CD 8 which was one day earlier than the leaflet said as I have short cycles. I'm now getting flashing smiley's on CD11 so might start testing a bit later next month.

I'd definitely use FMU if you can just to be sure of the results.

Hi, I don't know if this will help but I've only started using the CB digital this month and I tested once in the morning and at night and I got my peak result at night. The box does say to not urinate 4 hours before testing as someone stated but I'd just say whatever's best for you.

Wishing you all the best.

@Birchtree4 when I read the instructions and it said retest after 4 hours but drink normally; I'm thinking how is that even possible. So annoyed I threw away my pee 😂 but stumbling about with a cup of pee and getting the stick when first awake isn't the easiest of tasks haha! Will for sure be worth it, I really hope these help this month! I've got a new app I'm using too, Ovia which I quite like! X

Oh no @hjen22 what a nightmare!! It is unreal the things we do youre right- but will be worth it x

@Birchtree4 your welcome! Tip for you, I just did my second day and it came back with an error so I have to do it again. I had collected my pee but then threw it away so I'm now having to hold in for the next 4 hours to retest. So might be a good idea keeping FMU until you know the test has worked! I'm going to be bursting come 11am 🙈 the things we do 😂😂

@Birchtree4 Ah sorry I hadn't realised you hadn't bought yet! I will take a pic of the instructions for you! It was much simpler to use than the cheap OPKs I've used and had multiple different results back from! Find it hard to know which result to go with, the average normally! It's like weighing yourself, go with the lowest result haha but with OPKs the highest / average but may have meant I have getting wrong readings! X

Birchtree4 · 30/11/2020 12:35

Thanks @hufflypuf I will just do that then! Gets the POAS out of the way for the day anyway haha. Good luck to you too x

Hi @Birchtree4

I started testing using clearblue for the 1st time this month. There's a little chart inside the box which tells you what day to start testing depending on the average length of your cycle.

You are supposed to use FMU so I would say yes to 5 AM testing as your urine will be more concentrated.

I am planning to DTD everyday from when I see the flashing smiley, the more chances the better!

Good luck Smile

Hi! I've also purchased this this month for the first time so be interested to know others opinions! I tend to have a short-ish cycle (other than last month) I did it a day earlier than the guidelines suggested just in case, as I've tracked with OPKs and BBT in October and it came back I ovulated on CD9!
