This sounds so silly but I think my cocker spaniel can sense something with me. He’s being so needy and wanting to lie on my belly and keeps sniffing it. He’s our little 5 year old rescue so is quite anxious and he keeps whimpering today. My other dog couldn’t care less my boobs and womb are like magnets for her feet thankfully she’s only a small dog

@ChinChilly I’m CD8 today not much going on. I am getting very faint lines on my OPKs which I wasn’t getting before. Only 0.22 the highest so far on Premom app so I’m hoping this month I ovulate.

@Kay00 it’s the earliest if felt like my fertile week has started which is good cos last month we definitely powered out towards the end with DTD every other day. I’m hoping lots of Christmas drinking will help us along 😂 (I weirdly get really in the mood when I’m hungover, not sure if that’s an actual thing 🙈)

@Juno231 I really think it’s great that you have your appointment earlier then the original date and I do not think that you are a leech on the nhs for wanting what all of us want. It’s frustrating that you have put your all into it and no baby yet but your time will come whether it be before your appointment which would be lovely news to hear or during the appointments and tests they have to do xx you have wanted this for a long time and you deserve to have your appointment to get the ball rolling xx it’s not selfish or unfair to want something so badly, many women probably so thinking though when they are going through tests to check why things are not happing naturally, defo not pushing in the queue x

@ChinChilly your hormones must be good and high which is great news! I had a small pain in my side about 4 days before OD which got stronger and on actual OD I even had like lightening crotch that caused me to jump and shout ow! For the last 2 months I was taking a few vitamins and supplements not sure if any of them were linked to the long pain

My surge used to come and go really quick but for the last 2 cycles it seems to have lingered for a few days, been having AF style cramps aswell which seems abit odd 🤔

@cams50 yes getting the ball rolling was always something I was worried about and it felt justified when they told me my appointment was going to be in May considering I had my first blood test back in July 😅. You're right, by the time anything happens it'll probably be months down the line anyway and if I'm not pregnant by then I'll be grateful I got that appointment in Feb after all!

@Emmgrem no wasn’t temping, I was only doing opk to try and see what my body was doing post pill. Yeah I caught my peak cd26 I went from low to peak the next night. I heard it’s possible for your body to try to ovulate a few times in the cycle so wasn’t hoping for much until I got the ovulation pains on my right hand side that lasted right up til 8dpo. I’m still achy but not as much now and getting central cramps on and off now. I quickly went on Amazon last night and ordered a hi dad baby vest and gonna use the digital and put them in a box and wrap them. OH and I aren’t doing presents this year either. Well we say this and last night I got him a toothbrush and he got me a trip to New York so he’s unreliable but I can assume this year I’ll be giving out the best present lol. Honestly I never thought in my wildest dreams this month was the month for our BFP. I’ve hid the FRER in a drawer and every so often I keep going up to check to make sure it’s actually real.

@Cams50 thank you so much! I’m gonna keep on this thread to watch all the BFPs roll out, it’s like my morning routine when I’m working late. Like reading the morning paper lol.

@ChinChilly that looks more promising your body must of got excited and kicked out a few hormones early to keep you on your toes. Our bodies really hate us sometimes lol. Sure what harm can DTD an extra day do.

Keeping this from OH has been so hard I keep wanting to blurt it out but I know it’ll be more special waiting. I can never hold my own piss either so he’ll be so shocked I kept it from him for 5 days haha.

@Juno231 I think it’s great that it’s been moved forward! As I’m sure it takes a while for any further appointments / tests after that first appointment so quicker you can get the ball rolling the better. I feel I’m not too far off that as I’m about near cycle 9. But hopefully we both get our bfps before that.
