Hey @ButterscotchBabe! Continuing our chat here 😁

I loooove that your temps did exactly what mine did too. So good that AF hasn't arrived at CD26!! Happy for you! When your temps increased last month, was it is to a gradual high or did it jump up again and then AF started? Because if this pattern is new, it could mean good news!

Ours definitely look like the beginning of a triphasic chart. My temps last month started dropping at 7DPO, so it still being high at 9DPO is such an achievement for me and no sign of AF either although my vulva feels AF'y in a weird way. My pulse and breathing rate have also continued to shoot up!! If temps don't tell you AF is coming, pulse rate defo will because it always starts falling a few days before AF for me.

I do suspect chemical but no BFP so can't confirm and nothing else changed that cycle so I can't explain it. Hormones were defo the reason I never took the pill, it plays such a big part in changing your reproductive cycle that of course it would have an affect on cycles after you come off them! 45 day cycles sound like a nightmare - especially when TTC too.

I do have a FRER! I'm always so scared to use it though. I always use rubbish ICs which probably aren't the best thing but I will use my FRER with you!

I like predicting what my temps will do with DH. What do you think will happen tomorrow? I think both our temps will go up again 😆

So looks like it's an 11 day LP. I think that's pretty good. I also had a really long cycle, which is much better than 23 days! I'm hoping my progesterone levels are much better now.

I guess a plan B is a good idea. I'd have to think about what mine would be. I'd want my DH to be checked as he's in the obese category and I'm worried about his health. I'd probably get checked too although I've had gynaecological examinations and I'm anatomically fine. I wouldn't aim straight for IVF but I'd consider all the options. Why have you suspected you might need IVF?

Ooo experimenting with your patterns. Sounds like an awesome plan and it's a good way to learn how to manipulate patterns to create what you want.

Tbh, the fabric mostly inspires the garment. I can loosely visualise what would work on a certain fabric and then I'll draw a terrible sketch of the idea. But it's mostly in my head. Yeah, I pretty much buy everything online. You can check out Minerva Crafts. They're an online store and are really lovely.

Oh no, I'm sorry your af has arrived. I hope you can feel positive knowing your luteal phase has extended. You can have that drink now! 🥂

AF is here! Finally 😅

OP posts:
ButterscotchBabe · 21/12/2020 20:29

I think I remember you were having small bits of spotting last cycle? Nothing was coming out but you found some? If so, is this spotting different? Normally af would arrive within a day of spotting starting, so if af hasn't arrived by tomorrow morning, definitely test with a FRER. If it does arrive tomorrow, that's still amazing that your LP has extended by 2 days?

I guess all a GP could do is prescribe sleeping pills, which maybe useful in the TWW! I think possibly the reason I'm not as anxious about it is I've always suspected I might need IVF, so I have a plan B ready in my head. I'm sure you will have absolutely no problem getting pregnant but to help the anxiety, why don't you think of a plan B, so what you will do if you haven't got a BFP by .... Then each cycle you don't get a BFP, you're closer to your plan B 🙂.

I'll probably go straight to IVF rather than IUI, reason being is DP can put sperm pretty close to my uterus, whereas the harder journey is for sperm to then travel through the fallopian tubes, meet an egg and then travel back down. With IVF you skip all that process and put the embryo straight into the uterus. We'll probably give it another 3 cycles and then start the process.

Well I was going to follow a pattern I bought but you've got me thinking maybe I could do something different with it! I might do what I did with the other dress and loosely follow the pattern but make some changes 😀.

I can kinda imagine what you're describing, do you sketch a drawing of an outfit before buying the fabric, to get an idea of what it will look like? Do you get all your sewing equipment online? I haven't looked online yet as there's a fabric and sewing shop quite close to me, so it's nice to look at and feel the fabric in person.

unCliche · 21/12/2020 19:31

This is the furthest I've ever gotten. And tomorrow will be CD29/13DPO. I'm not sure how I feel about it though, it feels like my body is playing games. I'm late based on LP and cycle length but I've no BFP to show for it. I should see something on an IC by now, right? 😪 All I have is meaningless spotting that comes and goes as it pleases. I'm sure my temps will throw another curveball at me tomorrow.

Would a GP be able to do anything? My anxiety and insomnia is basically self inflicted. On a normal day, I sleep like a baby. The only cure right now is AF - until the next LP 😅 but I'll be fine. I just feel like a rubbish wife right now. I haven't even cooked or done any housework - DH has been doing everything. I've just been so useless. I'm so tired 💤

Oh man, that's really annoying. I really hope it doesn't come to that. I know IVF can be physically and mentally stressful. In the meantime you can get private checks done for you and your DP. If there's nothing wrong then you'll know all you need is more time. If they've spotted something, maybe you'll then be able to share the results with your GP and kickstart things that way. If you have no luck with that then maybe consider IUI before considering IVF. It's cheaper and I think it's basically a procedure that inserts the sperm right into your uterus - basically artificial insemination - and then maybe with the help of a progesterone prescription you'll conceive that way. I did look at costs and was so relieved that it wasn't like £10,000 but I suppose it adds up if you have to do loads of cycles. But going into your house deposit really sucks and I'm sorry that that's something you may have to do. It's such a tough predicament.

That fabric is gorgeous. I can imagine a cute maxi, V-neck, wrap dress in that. Or a lovely mini A-line or skater skirt with a V-neck bodice and capped sleeves. What do you have in mind for it?

I think it'll just be DH and I so I probably won't be needing an outfit. I'll buy us some matching PJs to wear all day instead. I've been thinking about my next project and I have this stiff fabric, it feels like Nylon but heavier and textured, and I know it will hold its shape well. I want to pair it with an air mesh fabric to create a dress with a poofy skirt and a bodice that is diagonally half that fabric and half the mesh. It makes no sense but I think it'll look amazing. I love working with unconventional fabrics.

OP posts:
ButterscotchBabe · 21/12/2020 16:23

Actually the fabric is viscose not cotton! The more fabric I buy, the more difficult it's gonna become to remember them all!

ButterscotchBabe · 21/12/2020 16:20

Oh no sorry to see your temp come down today, I did see this happen on some of the pregnancy charts, so you're not out until af arrives. I think for your own peace of mind though it might be good to do a FRER if af doesn't arrive today.

I think once you know the result you'll be able to sleep a bit better but you don't want to be going through this every month. If you've tried relaxation techniques and nothings working, it maybe worth a phone call to your GP?

I called the doctors today and asked if they could start some tests and possibly a referral but they will only refer couples who have been trying for a year. I couldn't lie about this because they might be able to see from my record that I was on the pill. They also said that the fertility clinic only offer IVF to couples who have been trying for 2 years and there's a long waiting list. So not a good result, basically they won't do anything till it's been at least a year. I think we'll try for a few more months and then possibly go private but it's around £5K for IVF and storage of frozen embryos. So we'd have to take it from our house deposit which is depressing. Definitely gonna have to do some hard saving these next few months!

I've attached a pic of the fabric I'm gonna use for the next dress, it's a lovely soft cotton. I'm also planning on buying a fashion sketchbook so I can start doing my own designs 😊. The trickiest thing will be getting sizing right! Will you still be making a Christmas outfit if it's just going to be you and your DH?

Another false alarm! I think I'm going to put this back and forth to an end and finally take an FRER tomorrow whether my temps go up or down. Enough is enough. I'm exhausted.

OP posts:
unCliche · 21/12/2020 06:33

My temps pretty much did what I've been expecting. I sort of knew it was too good to be true. AF is in the process of starting now. Oh well! 11 day LP is still an improvement.

Hehe sounds like you're really enjoying making clothes. It is a nice hobby to have. What pattern are you using this time?

Oh gosh, we had terrible panic buying last time here! It was a mess. Hopefully people have more sense this time.

I actually worked so hard at falling and staying asleep! Tried practicing mindfulness and clearing my mind every time it started drifting. I still woke up at 6am though. But maybe now that AF is starting I'll be able to stop worrying about it and get some sleep at last!

I did try reading. Even asked DH for a massage. Did a bit of aromatherapy too. I don't really think they worked for me 😅 but thanks for the suggestions either way!

Back to sleep I go!

ButterscotchBabe · 20/12/2020 21:13

I have a another dress pattern and a top pattern, so will move onto those next! It's becoming very addictive 😂.

Yeh I wouldn't leave it too much longer or there might not be as much choice left. There was still quite a lot in Tesco last night, although people in Tier 4 may do more panic buying.

Try to relax and think about things other than TTC, worrying about it won't change the outcome. You've almost gained an extra day of luteal phase which is great! Don't torture yourself by holding out to test, you're feeling anxious and struggling to sleep, I think you would feel better if you knew either way?

When I'm anxious or overthinking things, I try and think happy things, so I might do some reading, wedding research, look for sewing ideas, anything to take my mind off what is bothering me. Also baths are very relaxing, especially with candles and maybe some bubbles. Finally I might ask DP to give me a massage or some light strokes. So if you haven't already, maybe try some of those things.

I hope you feel better soon and fingers crossed you are pregnant but if not, don't worry, it's still very early days, it doesn't indicate that anything is wrong 🙂.

unCliche · 20/12/2020 19:06

Oh lovely! Your dress is coming along pretty well! Yes, it might be better to hem the dress and lining separately. But apart from that, it looks very well done. Onto bigger projects next! What are you thinking of moving onto?

Plans with Christmas are still up in the air, we're still deciding what to do. But we'd need to make a decision soon so we can go food shopping!

I went through my messages with DH and saw that my last AF started at around 5:30pm. Obviously that has no bearing on when my AFs should start but the closer I get to the end of the day, the more nervous I feel! Come midnight, my LP would be at least 11 days long. I think I might wait until 14DPO or even 15DPO to test. Maybe I won't test at all! I'm basically trying to delay it for as long as possible because I still believe AF will show up. My labia and uterus are so achy but that could just mean AF is coming!

I've never been pregnant before either! And although I've been suspicious of my fertility, I'm not sure how convinced a GP would be. Maybe you can say you tried for a while with your previous partner and since you're also struggling with your current partner, you suspect that there could be something going on with you.

Yeah, I definitely feel having 2 weeks off will help as I won't have that pressure to try and sleep and wake up at a certain time. I'd still prefer to fall asleep at a reasonable hour though 😪 Any suggestions on how to handle the anxiety?

I can attest to the vitamins helping with AF cramps, my last AF was so painless and I've never had that before, so it must be the vit D for me too.

I probably won't make any changes to the top. I may pair it with something else so the outfit isn't a coord anymore. A new combination may help with how it looks.

The dress is almost finished! I didn't follow any tutorials for the lining I just kinda guessed as I went along but I did follow your advice and made the dress and the lining separately. I wanted to sew the lining up at the end however the lining and the dress fabric don't completely match so it's caused it to bunch up at the side. So I think I'm gonna have to undo the bottom and sew up the lining and dress separately.

Yeh my Mum ended up chatting to us for around half an hour, we did get some funny looks from people, whoops. Then it took ages to agree on Christmas food and pick our normal weekly food. Oh no that sucks you're in Tier 4, so I'm guessing it will just be you and DH on Xmas day. You'll have to get some nice food and drink in (if you're not pregnant of course).

That's great the spotting has stopped and probably good you haven't seen anymore EWCM. I don't remember seeing EWCM before af but I do often get it whilst on period. I think it's because the hormone balance changes from high progesterone back to high estrogen.

Really hoping your af doesn't arrive, then at the very least you'll get an improved luteal phase 🙂. When do you think you'll do a test? You'll be 12 DPO tomorrow, that's a pretty reliable time to test, I'm really excited for you!!

Before I met my DP I had 2 long term relationships (not at the same time 😂😂) and I never fell pregnant (wasn't trying but wasn't stopping it either), so I think I'll say to the GP that I've had suspected issues for many years. Hopefully they'll be willing to start investigations now and not make me wait a year. Yep we'll continue trying in the meantime. Yeh that's a good idea, I'll have a look into B vitamins, I'm gonna end up needing a pill box 😂😂.

Oh no, I really feel for you, lack of sleep is awful and it's difficult to get out of the cycle. Do you think having a couple of weeks off work now might help? Without needing to be up for work, hopefully you won't be as stressed when trying to fall asleep.

I do get anxious/nervous about things but not necessarily during the TWW, I get annoyed if af arrives but I don't get nervous about it. Maybe I will after a few more months! Night's haven't been too bad for me this week and af has been pretty much painless. I'm normally in agony with my periods, I can only put this down to the vitamin D I've been taking with folic acid. Apparently vit D reduces period pain.

Oooh that's interesting you've had sensitive nipples since 2 DPO and still have them, I think you should test soon! I see your temp is still quite high, I didn't take my temp this morning as woke up much later than normal.

Are you able to amend the sweetheart neckline to something you would prefer? Maybe you could put something over it?

I'm struggling to send the message with pics attached as the files are quite large, will try them in a separate message.

unCliche · 20/12/2020 12:42

Yaaaay! That's amazing! I can't wait to see it! Were you able to find a good tutorial to help you out with the lining? Were there queues in Tesco? Hours sounds like a long time. Or were you there for hours because you bumped into your mum? That's cute though! It's lovely she's not too far from you. We're now in Tier 4 over here so not sure what to do about Christmas!

I'm fine! It was a false alarm. Last cycle, the spotting continued for the whole of 10DPO and 11DPO until AF started. Yesterday, it pretty much stopped immediately and I haven't seen anymore since. That's not to say AF won't still start today! My CM has also dried up, so that bit of EWCM may have just been random. Do you usually get EWCM before AF is due??

Aww, I really wanted you to find inspiration in cutting out the romance (haha I sound terrible) but you're right, if there's something wrong, it's better you get the help sooner rather than later. Are you going to tell your GP you've been trying for a year? In the meantime, will you continue TTC like normal? Maybe while you're waiting for a referral you'll actually end up conceiving! I think you should DTD on ovulation day - this was the one day I was always missing for some reason. Hopefully it'll make a difference this cycle. I just feel really bad, this is my third cycle and I already feel terrible, I don't want you feeling like that but worse. I'm sending lots of hugs your way. Hopefully, if there is an issue, it's easily rectifiable. Maybe you'll get prescribed progesterone - that's usually a quick and easy solution and it won't be a stressful or invasive process either. Maybe look into B100-complex vitamins to take in the meantime? That's the one I hear helps quite well too. I'm taking a whole concoction so I can't say for definite which one is helping me.

Yup, you're totally right about the cycle of sleeplessness and anxiety. Today was worse. I woke up at 4am, synced my fertility bracelet and couldn't get a reading because I hadn't had at least 3 hours sleep. So I gave in and took 4 Kalms tablets. Started feeling super drowsy but couldn't fall asleep! I must have then dozed off eventually. Woke up at 8:40am and finally managed to get a temp reading. Then I was in and out of sleep until midday. Not sure how I'd cope if I was actually pregnant. My anxiety would be through the roof! And I wouldn't be able to take Kalms either! Do you get nervous during the TWW?

I don't think getting myself really tired will help because I'm already so exhausted yet I still can't stay asleep for long. How have your nights been? Hopefully your AF isn't too uncomfortable?

Each time I woke up this morning, my nipples would feel so so so sensitive. I'm not sure what's going on! They've been like this since 2dpo and they haven't gotten better or worse with my increasing temps/higher progesterone. My temps did go slightly down this morning. It could go either way tomorrow, it may dive down towards AF or bounce back up towards a BFP. Have your temps continued to go down?

I don't think DH has bought anything for me yet, but I don't think I want anything either. Haha! I completely get the excitement. When we bought our vacuum cleaner, we were so chuffed at how good the suction was. Couldn't stop vacuum cleaning!! And a good printer is definitely excitement-inducing! What inspired you to start sewing?

My day was ok. It's my neighbours (good friends) birthday today so we went over last night, chilled through the evening and then sang and gave her gifts at midnight. I haven't started putting together a Christmas outfit but I did finish the other garments. The trousers looks and fits great. The top I don't really like because a sweetheart neckline does not suit me! I'll just have to make it work somehow.

Hehe I would have loved a nice cocktail actually but I stuck to having soft drinks and water. Let's see how the rest of the day pans out. If AF doesn't show up today, then my LP will be the longest it's ever been. Fingers crossed!

Hey sorry for late response, had a really busy day! I've almost finished the Christmas dress, just need to sew the main part and the lining together, eeek! After doing the dress we then spent hours in Tesco doing our normal weekly shop and a Christmas shop and bumped into my Mum who wanted to chat for quite a while! Feel exhausted lol.

I hope you're okay, that's interesting you've had some EWCM, that would be caused by estrogen so possibly not a good sign. Late last night I had some weird EWCM that was really dark red. Have there been any changes this evening?

DTD more certainly won't hurt but I don't think that's the problem, something's wrong with my hormones to be having such short luteal phases. I'm probably gonna contact my GP next week and see if I can get the ball rolling with some fertility investigations. These things always take ages so I might aswell join the queue now!

Oh no is there anything you could do to help the anxiety? It's a vicious circle because more anxious you get the less you sleep but the less you sleep probably contributes to feeling anxious ☹️. Maybe stay up late sewing until you feel really tired or try going on a long walk during the day. I sometimes struggle to sleep but it does help if I've done some exercise.

How are your nipples feeling now? Your spotting could be implantation so don't lose hope yet, your temps were so good I'd be very surprised if your af came tomorrow.

DP and I agreed not to get each other much this Christmas, I've got him a couple of small gifts (clothes) but that's it. Do you know if your DH has got you anything? I got a printer/ scanner in the sales, can tell I'm getting old when I get excited about a printer 😂😂. I also got the sewing machine just before the sales, I figured they were so popular this year that they probably wouldn't reduce for Black Friday and they didn't, so glad I didn't wait!

How has your day been? Have you started on your Christmas outfit?

Hope you ended up having that drink, I think you deserve it!! 🥂

unCliche · 19/12/2020 16:46

I think I'll be out tomorrow 😔 went to check my CM, which is currently like EWCM and I don't think that's good. My cervix is also hard and I saw two pinprick sized dots of red blood in my CM. I spotted last cycle at 10dpo and AF came the next day so I expect my temps to drop tomorrow too. Might be joining you with a bottle of alcohol very soon 🥂

OP posts:
unCliche · 19/12/2020 11:31

I think you should work on just getting it done. Seriously, forget the romance. It will feel like a chore but you'll have other days to make DTD feel as magical as you want. Unfortunately it's the sacrifice you make yet once I'm pregnant, I won't be thinking about how regimented all the DTD was. A fertlised egg won't know the difference between making love and getting shit done 😂 Sorry for the overt honesty but I've had to make a conscious decision to throw all romance and comfort out of the window. But romance isn't dead! You can still make it fun but if you're not in the mood, that sperm will still need to find a way to meet that egg!

Anyway have a think about it, the only thing is your really short cycle and LP - so strange that it regressed. Did you do anything different with your Vit C? Maybe try other vitamins too? I'm taking loads, I even have a pill box and it makes me feel like an old woman.

Maybe you can take your charts to your GP and show them that you're ovulating but your temps aren't high enough so you suspect it's progesterone related and ask for a progesterone test. There are also some kits you can order online. Superdrug do one. It might be quicker to go down that route than waiting for referrals then once you get your results back your GP can then have more concrete evidence to go off.

I completely support your alcoholic breakfast! Have a glass for me too! And do something lovely to look after yourself today.

Oh, I get really anxious and start struggling to stay asleep. It happened around this time last cycle but now I have these unexpected temps completely freaking me out! I took an IC and got a BFN so I don't know if I want to waste my one and only FRER. I could just order more to be honest. If AF doesn't start tomorrow I'll either be late or I'll be having a longer LP. So maybe I'll test on 12DPO.

My nipples were throbbing this morning. I just had this sharp pain pulsating through them. If this is PMS, I'd like to swap it for something else please. That alcohol intolerance is looking pretty good.

Haha! Continue treating yourself! If you don't who else will?? I still don't know what to get DH for Christmas. Have you gotten your DP anything? Yeah, I got a hairdryer brush thing on the black Friday sale. It works so well! Money well discounted! What did you buy?

I'm a little apprehensive to try the SMEP because I don't want to make DTD too rigid but maybe I'll make an effort to do it more this cycle! We did do it quite a bit around ovulation though. I think it's more an issue with not producing enough progesterone but I'll only know for definite with tests. I'm gonna drown my sorrows in bucks fizz for breakfast 😂😂😂.

Oh no I wonder why you keep having poor sleep 🤔. What do you think could be causing that? Oh wow it went up again 😂, your progesterone levels must be really good, I reckon you'll get a longer LP this cycle and hopefully a BFP!

Aww that's very sweet of you but I don't mind, I'm eager to know if yours is positive 😀! If you tested on 11 or 12DPO that would also give pretty accurate results 😊.

We have loads of cardboard boxes from deliveries, mostly from presents to myself! I think I've bought myself more presents this Christmas than I've bought anyone else 😂😂. Did you manage to get any good deals in the Black Friday sales?

unCliche · 19/12/2020 06:20

Oh no! I'm so sorry! What a nightmare of a cycle 😔 I really did hope AF would stay away. And as terrible as it sounds, at least a CP would have given you an answer as to why this cycle was strange. I really was hoping for better news.

I'm not sure what you should do. I would maybe suggest you trying SMEP just in case it's just your timings. You never know what your DPs sperm quality is like so DTD more may help cover all your bases. At the same time if your gut is telling you to talk to your GP, then maybe you need to.

I slept terribly today, as expected, but I did manage to get a temp. It increased to 36.83, so I suppose 100°C isn't out of the realm of possibility. But I don't think I'll test today. Especially since it's such a rubbish day for you. I'd just rather we focus on you 💕

I'm not sure what the alcohol intolerance means either. I just thought it meant the same as you but the food stuff is a good choice too!

Ah that's great then! Good thing you managed to get some gifts during this Christmas madness and I'm sure the little one won't mind! I think he'd really enjoy whatever you have planned. I haven't found a box yet but I'm sure I'll find something soon!

Spotting got heavier last night, DP got curious that it might be an CP so I did a test this morning and it was BFN. Also af has got much heavier now and my temp came right down this morning. I don't know what went wrong this cycle, my temp stayed fairly low throughout most of the luteal phase. I'm so disappointed that my cycle was only 23 days with an 8 day luteal phase 😭😭.

I'm wondering whether to call the GP on Monday and start the ball rolling with investigations or to try for one more cycle first 🤔, what do you think?

What is your temp today? How are you feeling? If you do choose to wait to test, if your af hasn't arrived by 14DPO then there's a high chance you'll be pregnant 😀. You've had a definite improvement this cycle so keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞.

I wasn't sure whether the alcohol intolerance meant you'd get drunk easily or if you'd get worse hangovers. I would probably choose appetite changes and food cravings, that doesn't sound too bad!

Thank you, I'll let you know how I get on with the lining 🙂.

That's good that the Tier 3 won't impact you too much, probably a good job you've been staying in if cases are rising.

I managed to find gifts for the 2 eldest brothers, with the younger ones I'll probably take them out somewhere when covid is over. I won't see them on Christmas day anyway so hopefully they won't mind! Have you managed to find a box or something else to transport the chilli and tomato plants?

I need to start doing the same and having at least 4 FRERs at home.

I hope you don't feel too stressed about it all and are able to get a good night's rest. I'll probably sleep rubbish so maybe I'll be back at 6am again. With how nervous I am, I'd probably wait until AF is actually late before testing.

Yeah we finished the dessert box today - it did take a while. No wonder it says for 4 to 6 people, they definitely weren't exaggerating.

Ooooh c'mon, choose at least one. I think the alcohol intolerance is the best out of a bad bunch.

Let me know how you get on with the lining. Always happy to help even though it's quite hard trying to explain things through mumsnet.

For me, personally, no. I don't go out much so being in tier 3 changes nothing for me. But I suppose with shops and restaurants closing, others may feel harder impacted. You're probably doing the safe thing staying in this weekend, people will be trying to get last minute Christmas shopping in and I'm sure it would be more packed than last weekend. Did you manage to find gifts for your brothers?

I guess tomorrow we'll be 10dpo with more updates to share. Let's hope it's positive ones! I know my temps will fall, I just hope it isn't too much of a drop 🤞 and I also hope that your spotting doesn't get any heavier.

100°C 😂😂

I always like to have a few FRERs in the house, so I don't feel guilty wasting one if it's negative. Yeh ICs are rubbish, they're only good for satisfying the urge to POAS!

I'll probably wake up early as I normally do, so will let you know what happens! Don't feel you need to wait until 14DPO but do what you feel most comfortable with. I know I definitely couldn't wait that long!

Haha oh no! Did you finish the dessert box? No new symptoms for me, definitely haven't lost my appetite 😂. Oh dear I don't think I have a favourite from that list 😂. I don't know if it is lucky because it probably means my hormones aren't doing what they're supposed to 😕.

Ah I see, maybe it is better to sew the lining together first, I'll have a look at some tutorials.

Mines staying in Tier 2 but we're not really going anywhere anyway. I got my hair cut last Saturday and town was heaving, huge queues outside every shop. So won't bother going back anytime soon. Will going into Tier 3 have much impact on you?

I was hoping they'd get to 100°C. The only way is up!

You've got a good number to test with tomorrow (hopefully) and the next few days. Maybe I should order more too. I don't think one is enough, and I have very little faith in ICs.

Ooooh noo! I really hope it isn't AF for you! Your LP was so good last cycle, I don't know why it would get shorter, it makes no sense. Some people get medium flow implantation bleeds so if it turns red but doesn't turn into a full blown period, I'd still hold out a little bit of hope 😔 If you don't test tomorrow, I'll wait until 14 DPO (if I can)

Thank you. I think constipation is the pregnancy symptoms and I'm having the opposite of that, so it's probably that huge dessert box that did it 😂 No new symptoms of note. Nipples are still sore, I'm probably still smelly and CM hasn't dried up. But I generally feel normal. Apart from the spotting, anything new happen today? Any loss of appetite?

I wouldn't mind the mild, respectable PMS symptoms, like... (can't think of any), because it lets you know your hormones are doing what they're supposed to. But every month I get tender breasts and I hate it!! You should definitely count yourself lucky. In fact, if you had to choose from the following, which one would you choose:

Emotional and behavioral signs and symptoms

  • Tension or anxiety
  • Depressed mood
  • Crying spells
  • Mood swings and irritability or anger
  • Appetite changes and food cravings
  • Trouble falling asleep (insomnia)
  • Social withdrawal
  • Poor concentration
  • Change in libido

Physical signs and symptoms

  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Weight gain related to fluid retention
  • Abdominal bloating
  • Breast tenderness
  • Acne flare-ups
  • Constipation or diarrhea
  • Alcohol intolerance

Gosh that list is depressing... It's hard being a woman!

Yes, you have a much neater inside because all the seams are hidden behind the lining like the attached photo (found the image on google). It's quite a good idea to sew the lining together first because you can use that to gauge fit. Which is what people generally do.

My town is about to go into tier 3 tomorrow, so not much planned. Pretty much the same as you, tbh, I'll definitely be starting that Christmas outfit - I'll probably just make something up as I go along. My best ideas are born out of pressure. Has your lockdown tier changed?

@unCliche when looking at FF pregnancy charts I noticed quite a few tested positive on the day their temp came down, so if it does come down tomorrow don't worry, it doesn't mean you're out. Your temp is quite high now, it can't keep going up 🙂.

I have 4 X FRERs as I bought 2 x twin packs, I've found them cheapest at Lloyds Pharmacy so bought a couple! The spotting started off brown but it's got more of a reddish tinge now so I think it might be all over for me. If it's still light tomorrow then I'll test but I won't if it's heavier.

Oh no I hope you feel better soon, if it's any consolation, a change in bowels can be a pregnancy sign! Have you had any other symptoms today?

Haha! I forgot that more progesterone means more PMS symptoms! I never really get PMS symptoms, maybe that's the problem...

The usual way sounds more difficult lol, is there a reason for doing it that way and not sewing to the sides first?

No plans for the weekend, except sewing and house cleaning! Looking forward to putting the dress together and really hoping it fits. I think after sewing the lining to the sides, I'm gonna sew the neck and shoulder parts together first, then it gives me a chance to see how it fits before sewing it all together. How about you? Guessing you'll be starting your Christmas outfit?
