Welcome to the 🐧 huddle. This a safe place to give and receive support for everyone who has experienced the loss(es) of a pregnancy or baby. Pregnancy and child loss is one of the most difficult things we can experience and it can also be the most lonely time too. So many of us have found much comfort from other lovely ladies on this thread, together we're rooting for lots of BFP's! Let 2020 end on a positive note x

Hi @Slinks8113 I'm so sorry this is happening. I had medical management in my most recent pregnancy. Have you got a follow up scan? I passed my baby the same day but I did end up with retained tissue (not to scare you), but I wish I'd insisted on a follow up scan just for peace of mind.
I've also struggled to concieve, we've been ttc over 3 years now but struggling with recurrent losses now. Sending love 💜 xx

Welcome @BellaBella36 I'm very sorry for your loss ❤️ are you able to take a bit more time off work? All of my sickness has been counted as pregnancy related so I'm not penalised. I'd recommend a bit of time or even going back on reduced hours xx

I'm sorry to see you here too @pringlebells but this is a lovely supportive group. I'm sorry for your loss. Sending you a hug xx

How are you doing now @Mumlili9? I hope you haven't been too ill and are recovering now.

How is everyone else @Janefx40 @Kiki275 @kim80 @Marshmallow123 @AliceinBunnyland? ❤️

I'm on cd3, I really hate the anticipation of my period arriving, especially knowing it was a bfn but once it started I feel OK and am looking ahead. I was worried we couldn't try this cycle due to the clinic being closed and me needing treatment, but they've said a day or two delay won't make much of a difference and if I do test positive to let them know ASAP and they'll arrange to get me in. So we're going for it. I'm not going to temperature check this cycle, just doing opks. And I'm determined to try and relax over these next few weeks, so I'll be having wine and pate ☺️

Lots of love to everyone xx

Hi @Slinks8113 @BellaBella36 @pringlebells welcome to the group but I'm so sorry for your losses. It is just devastating to lose a baby.

@Slinks8113 @BellaBella36 it is still so fresh for you both. Give yourselves time to recover. If you are able to take time off work it might be worth doing so. I had 2 weeks off after my miscarriage and I did feel more able to cope with work after that. Of course it isn't possible for everyone to take time off I know.

@pringlebells I've never conceived naturally but have had a fair amount of fertility treatment. It must be so tough to have that happen and then taken away. I'm new to this group too - it is a warm supportive place

Xxx

Kiki275 · 10/12/2020 20:19

@BellaBella36 @Slinks8113 I am so sorry to hear you find yourself here. Whilst I haven't had a miscarriage as such, I still know exactly how much you're hurting. Take some time off to heal, don't feel like you have to go to work. We're all here to hand hold or vent at any time xx

Hi, I lost our baby in July. Natural pregnancy after so much fertility treatment. Odds are stacked against us, we've been trying ever since. In the 5 years we've been together we conceived naturally once.

BellaBella36 · 10/12/2020 20:04

Hi I'm 36 and miscarried with my first baby on saturday. We'd been TTC for 10 months. The emptiness is overwhelming and right now the thought of going through another 10 months whilst I just get older is too much. There was a heartbeat at 8 weeks and then the bleeding started at 9 and a bit. No one tells you just how physically painful it is. I can't imagine being back at work on Monday.

Slinks8113 · 10/12/2020 19:04

Hi, I’m new here! I suffered a missed miscarriage last week and a week into medical management. Still bleeding but not as heavy today.
I’m 33 and was under the impression I couldn’t get pregnant (not due to any diagnosis) but just through years of no success. When we found out we were pregnant in October for the first time, I was over the moon. First couple of scans showed a strong heartbeat but when we went at 10 weeks for our NIPT, the baby had stopped growing at 9 weeks 2 days :(
It’s still very raw but I feel like I want to try again straight away and really crossing my fingers we may be one of those lucky ones that fall pregnant straight away again but who knows. Just here for some support really and to follow other people’s experience. X x

Mumlili9 · 10/12/2020 18:08

@Kiki275 still recovering from it. Finally starting to feel better and AF is due tomorrow and imminent 😥

Kiki275 · 10/12/2020 17:08

How are you @Mumlili9, hope you've not suffered too much x

Janefx40 · 07/12/2020 07:33

@VenusStarr Sorry about your bfn. It's always hard but glad you are feeling ok about it overall.

@Mumlili9 feel better soon. Hope it's just a super mild case and then you're over and done with

@Kiki275 sorry about the self-isolating. Bad luck if this is the only time you have seen Great-Grandad in so long. Really hope he is ok too x

Kiki275 · 06/12/2020 14:23

@VenusStarr huge hugs. I'll join you in a glass or two xx

VenusStarr · 06/12/2020 14:01

Oh @Mumlili9 I'm sorry you have covid, that's truly shit. I hope you're not feeling too unwell ❤️

@Kiki275 sorry to hear you're self isolating too 🤞

Our first cycle is a bfn, I had a couple of dodgy frer tests where I had a couple of squinters but I don't believe they were real, putting it down to a dodgy batch. I'm hoping af holds off until at least Wednesday (12dpo today) as I think we can ttc then. If it comes earlier I think we'll have to not try because the clinic will close and I won't be able to have my intralipids of I get a bfp. Feeling OK about it, it would've been a miracle if it'd worked first time. I'm definitely having a glass of wine tonight ☺️

Lots of love ❤️

Kiki275 · 06/12/2020 13:53

@Mumlili9 huge hugs. Hope you can take it easy for a while and get lots of rest x

@Kiki275 hope he recovers quickly. As for me the only symptoms I dont have is the taste/smell thing and vomiting. Everything else has hit me like a brick

Kiki275 · 06/12/2020 12:58

Sorry @Mumlili9 that was really wallowy of me. I hope you don't get too many symptoms and recover swiftly xx

Kiki275 · 06/12/2020 12:57

@Mumlili9 if it's any consolation I have to self isolate with my toddler, living in a static caravan, as we went to help pick his 93 yr old great grandad off the floor last night. We've not seen him since Feb but he tested +ve today.
I'm definitely hitting the gin/wine tonight x

Well just to make my year even crapper than it already was I know have coronavirus. How lucky I am 😥

Janefx40 · 04/12/2020 20:58

Hi @Kiki275 how are you feeling? I usually find the first bit of the 2WW ok. It gets harder towards the end.

I'm ok. Just come on today. One more cycle before we re-start IVF. I know we can't conceive naturally but you always hope for a miracle. DP was meant to have a sperm fragmentation test but it's taken so long to get an appointment that we may not have results before we're due to start - so I'm not sure if that means we'll have to delay. Lots up in the air anyway.

Hope you're ok @VenusStarr yes to some Christmas magic.

Hope everyone else is ok too

Xxx

Kiki275 · 04/12/2020 08:02

@VenusStarr definitely every single one of the lovely ladies in here deserve some Xmas magic. The little bit of joy & hope that will mean 2020 wasn't a complete write off xx

Hi @Kiki275 🤞 for your tww. I think we're all on this thread deserving of some Christmas magic this year. Can't believe where the time is going this month, trying to book things in at work and realising there's only a couple of weeks left!

Hope you're all well @Mumlili9 @Janefx40 @AliceinBunnyland @kim80 @Marshmallow123 ❤️ xx

Kiki275 · 03/12/2020 21:46

I was on cycle day 20, but my cycles are loooong due to pcos and endometriosis. Well, did the bd both days and will do it a couple more (I'm sure dh won't object!) And keep an eye on the sticks.
If anyone else has experience of these let me know!

Janefx40 · 30/11/2020 23:13

@VenusStarr ah I'm glad Dr S was friendlier than you thought and more importantly that you are on a new drug regime. I had both hydroxy and intralipids during my last cycle although in my case it was really just a last ditch attempt to save the pregnancy. I quite liked intralipids - felt full for a good 24 hours!

@Mummyshark2020 I'm pretty useless at opks and ended up using digitalis but yesterday's does look positive to me. I'm sure someone else would know better. What cycle day are you?

@Mumlili9 have never temped but was interested in one of those bracelets - maybe it'll settle down as @fnej01 said.

@Kiki275 I reckon we are all allowed to have a rant even tho there are people worse off. Lockdown is hard and so is TTC.

It's lovely to have joined this thread and looking forward to getting to know you all. Hoping for good things for everyone x

fnej01 · 30/11/2020 18:25

@lillimum9 how long have been using the Ava? I think they take a couple of cycles to learn. I only used mine for one cycle, and manually tracked as well and think Ava was a couple of days out.

Mummyshark2020 · 30/11/2020 18:14

Hey all, looking for a 2nd opinion, ovulation due end of this week but yesterday got a dark line on a ovulation test (pics attached) did I ovulate early? Help wise ones!!

Hi everyone, thank you for asking about me 😊.
I've started BBTing and have experienced the pre-ovulation DH is pissing me off rage, so pretty sure I'll be ovulating soon. DH is fully on board as well this cycle, he's taking his vitamins and drinking less (likes a bud when he gets in but cutting this out mon -thurs).
I'm just so fed up of everything. I could have cried when they announced the tiers. We've been in local-lockdowns and high tiers seemingly forever. I'm still waiting for an opportunity where I can go have a night at my friends, drink wine, cry & talk about my boys 😢 without fear of being reported.
I'm also fed up of dieting and fed up of renovations. I need something in the calendar to look forward to. DH is a dairy farmer and not had a day off since August (including weekends), not likely to get one until March either.
Sorry, rant over. I know people have it much worse than me in these current times xx
