TTC November bus

I guess I'm not 😫🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi All,

I am very new to Mumsnet but I have been lurking for a few weeks trying to work out all the acronyms used here. So pleased to come across this thread.

Myself and my partner are TTC and currently started our first round of IUI this month. We had our first insemination on Wednesday and on our 2 week wait now. We are 5DPO at the moment.

We are trying to stay relaxed and not get our hopes up about this first round but we also have our fingers toes and eyes crossed.

Good Luck to everyone it would be nice to have some good news ahead of Christmas.

@MgW1 plan Stan 💪 We've got this girl. It's going to happen soon and in the meantime, we can have fun with our kids and enjoy the magic of Xmas through their eyes. LOVE being around kids at Christmas. Warms the soul 💕 x

I have been feeling a but guilty as i feel its consumed me all of this. I should be focussing more on my children and getting ready for xmas !! Im gona continue with 1/2 pregnacare preconception and book accupuncture in over next few weeks xxx

@MgW1 yeah it's definitely something I'd try if we're still not getting anywhere in Jan/Feb. I feel the same in that I'd prefer to try everything else ahead of meds. Also, as I know I can get pregs, and tests say nothing is wrong, makes me just think it's only a matter of time before it 'works' and im pregs xx

@MgW1 that sounds like a good plan 👌 And I totally know what you mean about not moving 🤣 I literally just started going back to the gym and then we went into lockdown 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm going to spend the next month sorting myself out I think. Then will go full steam ahead SMEP in Jan! 🍆🍆🍆🍆🤣xx

Yes that is good hun , just takes time doesnt it. Well i was 14 weeks but it measured 12 weeks. We are gona dtd tonight for sake of it. Then im gona try accupuncture and just getting some more exercise in. Feel now im working mainly at home and hardly moving!!!! Still gona dtd in my fertile week but just need to accept that if im not ovulating its due to stress and i need to take steps to de - stress! Xx

@SunnydazeQ Hi! Got Af yesterday and felt completely hopeless. Had a few gin & tonics last night and I have regrouped this morning. I’ve ordered Zita West vitamins which have been recommended and taken a diet detox plan from there. Also trying to find someone for acupuncture. I agree ttc is very hard work, I’m very distracted at work and just obsessing over everything but it’s so hard not to! Especially in 2ww. What CD are you on? X

@SunnydazeQ yeah I think we'll do similar and just not track but probs give it a bash once or twice. Then if it happens, that's still great, but no stress and I'm not going to avoid drink during 2ww or anything (not that I drink much anyway!). Will just be relaxed about the whole thing. I did everything 'right' last time and I miscarried so until I miss a period, I'm presuming not pregs from here on. Also, my mum had 4 kids healthy kids and no miscarriages and didn't know she was pregs with any of them until she was 8weeks!xx

I am beginning to wonder if the stress of ttc is not helping post mc. I have just emailed a fertility accupuncture clinic in york nr where i live, im thinking of putting ttc on back burner for a month or 2 ? I have had little ewcm, had facial spots , incredibly dry patches of skin and mouth ulcers , i think its stress ? So thinking of exercising and trying accupuncture to help heal for now xx

I feel similarly @MgW1 I feel like I'm still getting my mojo back post mc and haven't felt sexy for ages! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Didnt help that it took ages for my preggo bloated tum to go down too.
Remind me how long ago your mc was? I'm sure it takes longer than we realise to get fully back to 'normal' - we all want it to happen instantly! Keeping my fingers crossed for you for this cycle. 🤞🤞🤞
I feel much better now I've fully got AF. Was worried it might be fecked but after the dodgy start, it's been fairly normal so that's something at least!xx

@bmeggar sorry AF arrived but now you can enjoy a nice drink 😊 I think we'll do like you and take a break in Dec or no do bare minimum ie no ovulation testing and just DTD CD16 to 18 when I think I'll be ovulating. Who knows 🤔

@gracie2307 @Sunflowers81 @SRyellow how are you all doing? Are you gearing up for your fertile window? I'm finding TTC to be hard work LOL it seems like I'm wishing away half the month and I'm not even in the TWW yet 😫 I am finding SMEP much better than what we were doing before as I have at least 5 High Fertility days which means we would be DTD overkill by the time I actually ovulated.

@MgW1 how are you? I am the same, waiting for my peak but my cycle seems to be following the same pattern as last month so hoping it's starting to settle down. Hoping I get my peak by CD16 as I am down to 2 more ovulation sticks and don't intend in buying anymore until January 🙈

@MgW1it really is! 😫 I'm gonna go get a test today for peace of mind. I just think if I was gonna come I would have now have wiping away v v light pink 🤷🏻‍♀️

You are either pregnant or period is late because of the stress of trying to get pregnant!!! Its a right rollercoaster all this isnt it!! Xx

@MgW1 I did one friday and it was negative havent since I'm to worried to go out to buy another for it to be then negative and then something is wrong with me lol xx

Morning everyone! Very strange night! Before going to bed I went to the loo and wiped away light pink barely anything. I wouldn't of even called it AF making an arrival it was so faint. Put a pad on and nothing all night! Not even wiping away pink anymore. 2 days late now. Still getting some cramps mainly on right lower tum and back. I dont want to go out my way to get a test for it to be a BFN. How long would you wait for

Still not ovulated, Cd 16 today and just flashing smiley. Did a cheapy opk and negative on that. Got a bit more ewcm so could be near. Miscalculated possible fertile days and started with dtd too soon , my hubby complaining that fri , sat and sun night is too much and wants to enjoy a beer after a long week at work so having tonight off!!! I dont know how i feel about this cycle. Since I had mc i have not felt fertile. I know it might sound odd but prior to the pregnancy id feel a bit fruity mid month ( we would have the odd night of passion and i felt sexy!! 🙈) but not getting that feeling at all. My skin is dry and i also have spots, think hormones are still out. If i dont ovulate this time , il see what happens next month and then il speak to my G.p after xmas because I am 37 and my husband is 40 , how are you feeling ? Sorry you got your AF , hopefully you will ovulate next cycle ... its so frustrating wirh bbt all over the shop xx

@MgW1 I don't think I ovulated at all. I genuinely managed to crash my app for several days as it couldn't work out wtf was going on based on my opks and bbt! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was like, if you can't work it out, what hope have I got?! I've now started using Glow app instead. It's a bit busy looking and personally don't find it as user friendly but at least it's not crashing!
And AF finally turned up properly! From Saturday night I got a teeny bit of blood if I pooped (sorry tmi) but that was. It - not even spotting in the day at all. Then FINALLY AF showed up properly on Weds PM - 5days late 🤦🏼‍♀️ Really hope that's the end of my period weirdness post mc 🤞
How are you feeling this cycle? Do you think you've ovulated yet?x

@Markygirl1995 thank you, let’s hope this cycle is better! I’ve been ttc for 5 months, feels like forever. This month was the first that I followed SMEP. I think I might call the Drs to see if I can get a blood test. I know what you mean about hoping for any line! I really hope you see one!
