TTC November bus

By the way, obvs everyone has to work out what they are comfortable with , but personally I don’t think there needs to be such a taboo around sharing when TTC. I have told several friends and family that I am trying. I think the pressure is still there whether people know or not tbh, and it’s nice to share what I am going through . I may regret telling people though if it takes too much longer 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m also out ladies and feeling very despondent 😢. AF came last night. Ready for that December bus. Unfortunately my next period is due 24th 🤦🏼‍♀️.

Not in my book! But as an American I feel I'm a guest on these forums, and I don't quite know the rules. Can just anyone start the bus threads? I'm ready!

@ACNass And yep, my December TWW ends the 22nd. Going to be either fabulous or very, very hard.

@ACNass We should just ask our husbands to get us FRERs for Christmas. Let's be real: it's the only gift (aside from pregnancy!) we really want.

I also very much relate on the isolation. I understand that many don't want to share that they are trying for fear of awkward confessions if they can't get pregnant or have a miscarriage, but the result is profound isolation. It just feels so weird not to be able to discuss such an important event, and one that I'd really like emotional support for. I also don't really have any friends who plan to have kids. In fact, my closest friend got a vasectomy the week I started TTC! Ha.

@Highfalutinlootin and yes the amount of money I spend on pregnancy tests is criminal I think lol next month my TWW will end just a couple days before Christmas and I'm just thinking if it's another bfn how sad that would be just before the holidays

@Highfalutinlootin yes you're so right. It's so incredibly draining and I never expected that especially so early on. When we started last month I thought I would be so carefree and just have fun with it but it's just not that easy. I think what makes it harder is not being able to talk to friends and family about it. We don't want the added pressure and questions but on the flip side makes me feel pretty lonely in the process. But having this group reminds me that I'm not the only one feeling this way and that it's normal. All we can do is try again and hope December brings happier news 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@ACNass I'm right there with you and happy to chat. I'm at 12 DPO and just got a BFN and can feel AF coming on soon. My BBT also dropped today and that's really the kiss of death, isn't it?

Like you we've only just started trying, first month actually, and also like you I completely, utterly underestimated how draining and distracting this would be. I've probably (shamefully) used about $100 of FRERs this month because I kept symptom spotting and thinking this was it. Feeling very sad and worried there's something wrong but I won't find out for months and months. It's hard not to get wound up, isn't it.

I'm 2 days late I think, yes I'm using that premom one, I'm wondering if I implanted the day I was due to come on

@SRyellow sounds silly, this is our first month but my expectations were high for the first month. Silly me. I'm not really thinking about I havent much all day apart from doing the test I've been keeping myself distracted but I dont feel like I'm going to come on.

@gracie2307 I did wonder why I couldn't get on the other thread. Currently on CD7 so ile be on the Dec bus!! Hope you're ok? Its my wedding anniversary today bit gutted about not being away for it. Instead went for a long walk (in the rain) was hoping for the news of a lil one before this anniversary tbh!

@Markygirl1995 how long have you been ttc? I know how you feel and the worry that something is wrong - I worried all night last night but after loads of googling I think it’s the same for a lot of people, it can sometimes just take time. It’s so hard picking yourself back up to start again every month but all you can do is focus on looking after yourself. I’m really going to try to mentally detox this month, it will happen for us we just have to stay positive xx

I'm 15 or 16dpo today cd 30, I have but 2 years ago straight after mmc and I'm taking the seven seas trying for baby. I just dont feel like something is right

Its stress hun , are you 14 dpo? Are you taking taking pregnancy supplements? Have you conceived before ? Im sure there is nothing wrong with you!! Xx

@MgW1 I tried to pick up a shift at work (I'm a nurse) but my unit just isn't that busy right now. So I'm going to do a workout and clean the house to kill a couple hours 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi @8obbingabout! Also doing insemination- but “at home” variety 😏. Currently on cycle #3. Did you decide to start with IUI or did you try at home first? Best of luck!

Feeling so disheartened this morning. BBT dipped way down this morning and have all my classic at symptoms. I had a good cry this morning but I feel so silly because we've only been trying for 2 months. I underestimated what an emotional roller coaster this would be and I think what makes this harder is not being able to pick up the phone and cry to my mom. My husband is very supportive but he's a physician and works many night shifts and he just left this morning for a 24 hour shift. So just feels very lonely when you're upset and have to spend the day/night alone. I'm very grateful for this group xo
