Morning everyone,

Trying for a baby for a year. Normal cycle 27-30 days now day 41, negative "not pregnant" result from a clear blue digital pregnancy test this morning.
Ugh...
Test again (could it be too early) or except it's a longer cycle? Longest I've had since I've tracked in 3 years.
Cramps for a week.
I'm 36 years old if that helps lol..

Thanks in advance x

So I taken a pregnancy test 5 days go positive
Then negative then today I think there is a slight line

I had positive ovulation 4 days before my period was due ?
Then positive ovulation again today

So I’m 5 days late or 10dpo I’m so confused
@Cjg14 you have simular to whats going on with me, people have taken an ovulation test because they're too nervous to take a pg test. Although its worked for some and they turned out getting a bfp after a positive ov test its not proven that they work the same.

Maybe wait another week then test again, ive read on a threat that someone went to cd 65 and believe it or not she got that bfp in the end, saying now she has to try and explain it to the doctors so there is hope still for us Smile
Wow.. that's so long.

@Cjg14

Hi I hope you don't mind me joining, I'm currently on cd47 with no sign of af coming! I am having similar symptoms too and yet I've had negative tests 😔 I do have irregular periods but the longest cycle has been 31 days so this is unusual! I have done a ovulation test today and it's close to a positive so not sure what is going on! I would rather af just come so I can move on to next cycle!
Soz you said about your cycle. So we are all in the same boat. I've read so much about how it's normal to be late, or miss a period all together, also read lots about negative tests till 5,6,7,8 weeks.. so I guess it's just a waiting game.

Hey, don't mind at all. I think we can find comfort in knowing others are feeling the same. I totally agree. We have been trying for a while and the past months when I had a slightly longer cycle (36) days negative test, then AF it's disappointing but can get on to the next cycle. What's your advantage cycle?

@missnessa84 yeah its kind of hard to remember all the small details and how you felt last time, but thats because we don't expect to go through this.
Im hoping we get our bfp soon because its really hard not knowing.

@Mummy2219 have you taken a pg test yet?

Mummy2219 · 21/11/2020 17:16

I am have the same problem 5 days late but positive opk ?

missnessa84 · 21/11/2020 16:54

Same..
Cramps on and off since my normal time to expect AF about 14 days ago, feels like AF will start any min. Had the same with my dd1 cramps till about 12 weeks. Nothing really painful just like a slight period cramp.
But that was 18 years ago maybe my memory isn't so good. Lol

OP posts:
Sunnybeam · 21/11/2020 16:29

How long had the cramps been going on for?

I remember with my first dd1 I had cramps for over 2 weeks, they were agonising though like my period when I was younger so I just assumed I was coming on any day but I never did. Although I have experienced that every pregnancy is different, my second ds1 I noticed implantation bleeding, I never thought it was real until it happened to me. I only bled slightly for maybe 3 hours and then it stopped and thats when I realised I wasn't due on yet so a few days later I took the test which was bfp both those times the first test was positive. Then on my next ds2 the only thing I noticed was when I was in the shower and I reached out for a bottle of shampoo that a slight bit of my breast was hurting only in one spot, by then I had a missed AF and thats when I knew for sure I was pg and again first test was a bfp so this is why I'm so confused myself even though I feel pg.

missnessa84 · 21/11/2020 14:13

No, I was going to but then the feeling eased off. Will see next week if it's not better.
I feel pregnant too so odd.

Have you been to your gp to check if you have a uti?

My app says I'm on day 44 but I counted day 43, have no cramping at all still, boobs still hard at the top, slightly sensitive, no apetite, feeling tiredness still, going to wait a bit longer to test as it drives me more crazy seeing the negative but feeling pregnant.

missnessa84 · 21/11/2020 09:19

@Sunnybeam

Bassically the same as me then, it could be that but I still cannot explain the day of cramping that I had maybe ovulation... I'm glad im not alone. Its been driving me crazy for a while now, even my mum has had her period and finished while I'm here still waiting, ive also heard about people not finding out until 12 weeks but I cant imagine waiting that long unless maybe that is a possibility, like you this has never happened to me before other than when I was 17 years old, only time will tell. Maybe we ested too early, let's cling onto that hope at least Smile
Day 42 Cramps and uti feeling continues today. No AF, negative test this morning. Definitely waiting a few days more at least.

Ha yes. The days are going so slowly. Let me know what happens x

OP posts:
Sunnybeam · 20/11/2020 20:54

I mean bfp

Sunnybeam · 20/11/2020 20:53

Nothing is 100% accurate, I guess it all depends on the pregnancy.

Hoping we will find out soon, kind of wishing the days away so I can find out sooner but its not really wise.

I guess we can just enjoy no period for an extra bit of time if no show of AF and bpf.

missnessa84 · 20/11/2020 20:20

Yes there's no pattern or best test is there really.. ugh

OP posts:
Sunnybeam · 20/11/2020 19:38

Yes! They're the one, or the frer but I usually use the ones from savers, which has never let me down, even detected a chemical pregnancy for me once!

missnessa84 · 20/11/2020 18:51

Boots early detection?

OP posts:
Sunnybeam · 20/11/2020 18:43

I've heard the boots ones are really good for detecting early, they're just expensive to buy online.

I will definitely keep you posted and yes it is reassuring.

missnessa84 · 20/11/2020 18:32

I've done £8 clear blue and £1 for 3 Savers.. all negative.

Let's see what happens. Keep me posted it was nice to find other people with the same problems.

Sunnybeam · 20/11/2020 17:39

Thats a sign! I thought I had a kidney infection with how painful my back was but I had my urine tested at the doctors which turned out not to be, they didn't test it for pregnancy though which I was hoping they would, maybe I should change the pregnancy test im using (which aren't the ones I usually use).

Sunnybeam · 20/11/2020 17:36

missnessa84 · 20/11/2020 17:32

Also the feeling like UTI but milder for at least two weeks.

OP posts:
missnessa84 · 20/11/2020 17:26

I've had cramps, backache, a very tired, bit dizzy sometimes. Sometimes I wonder because we want this so much, I wind myself up and make the period late, but the latest I've been in 3 years of tracking correctly is 36 days. I'm 41... I'd have thought a test would show by now too. I've heard stories of women only getting a positive at week 6-8 but maybe that's an expectation and I'm clinging to hope.
