Day 41 Negative Test.

Morning everyone,

Trying for a baby for a year. Normal cycle 27-30 days now day 41, negative "not pregnant" result from a clear blue digital pregnancy test this morning.
Ugh...
Test again (could it be too early) or except it's a longer cycle? Longest I've had since I've tracked in 3 years.
Cramps for a week.
I'm 36 years old if that helps lol..

Hi there,

I just saw this and thought I would respond. We were struggling with really long cycles (50 days plus) but last March we conceived and gave birth in October 2021 :) good luck with it.

Hi I know this is an old post but just wondering how your cycles were after this and if you went on to conceive. I'm currently on cd41, negative ovulation test and BFN. I have a scan booked on Sunday at the hospital to see what's going on.

Hi ladies, im so sorry for the AF to have arrived for you both, mine still hasn't arrived yet. I've just come to terms that I've missed it so I've gone on as normal for this cycle, currently on my tww again so let's hope something happens this time for us all.

Yes I've been very low today and upset. Lets hope just a blip and not meaning anything is changing in our bodies just yet.
Interesting you say AF started differently, me too. Spotting, but brown and funny consistency
Flow is heavy now and cramps. (TMI)

Agreed it's been a crap year. Here's to the next. Thanks for keeping me company during this stressful time. Not sure anyone else would have listened or understood so well.

BFP all round soon. Baby dust to you xx

Af has arrived for me too @missnessa84 after 74 days 😔 and it's started off abit different to normal. I am glad it's finally happened but like you feel disappointed and confused. I too have felt really upset about it all and Just worry what this is meaning for my body but at least it's finally happened and can move on to the next cycle 🤞🏻 2020 has certainly been a rubbish year and I'll be glad to see the back of it!! Here's hoping 2021 will be our year and we will get our bfp!

It's really disappointing and confusing but at least the limbo is at and end and you can start again.

Sorry app isn't notifying me for some reason.
Doctor appointment was a mixed bag. Not really any answers, but I'm having blood tests to check hormones. (But not till dec 29th)
I've been so upset today I feel in such limbo. More BFN and this long cycle worries me so much. I guess I'll get answers by the new year.
I'm day 68 now. Don't feel AF is coming but don't feel pregnant either.

Did AF come @Cjg14 ? I'm so sorry for your disappointment if it did.
Maybe call your doctor for blood tests?

P.s I asked doctor about BFN and she said the blood test will check for pregnancy but she said it's very very very rare to be pregnant and get so many negative tests. Humph 😤

Af is starting to arrive for me which I am slightly relieved about but then also disappointed and worried why I have had such a long cycle 😔

@missnessa84 day 41 for me still no sign of af, Stark bfn on Sunday. I have no tests at home because I would obsess if I did, ordered some which should arrive on Friday or Saturday so will test again then if bfn will wait another week to see if af shows then if she doesn't will ring gp 😭 that's the plan anyway

I’m in the never ending tww but I know I ovulated on time this cycle so hopefully won’t have another long one.

I'm CD 37 and bfn yesterday. My cycles never go over 35 so this is new territory for me. The bfn was a £1 cheapie so I bought 2 FRERs off amazon which come tonight, gonna test tonight and if bfn and no af by next Thursday do the 2nd test. Not sure when I ovulated at all and yesterday would have just been 2 weeks since we DTD so idk if its still too early to test 🙃 hate the waiting

Read so many forums of negative tests till week 8,9,10,11 even 12 or only shows on blood test.

Clutching at straws maybe? I cannot believe I've gone so long without AF I'm always so regular. Think I'll see if I get to 70 days then I'm knocking the door down at GP GrinGrinGrinGrin

@Cjg14 I've not spoken to the doc again, only about the prolapse, the doctor didn't seem bothered at all about the long/missed cycle.

@Ems2111 could it be implantation bleeding?

Sorry to hear, yes I am definately in the same boat. I feel your pain.

Last night I had a really really two really tiny specks of blood when I wiped (tmi!) ...

I expected to wake up and find myself with more and AF... but woke up to nothing. :/ I also feel no symptoms. I do feel a bit tense however...

This is dpo15 and day 44. I haven’t tested as I don’t have any tests at home. Which ones are good? I’m not sure what to do! Tia

No I haven't yet but I'm thinking I might try and speak to the doctor I was dealing with when I was having all the tests as she will know my background and might be able to advice or shed some light. Never have I wanted af to come so I can just move on (a bfp would be better but I just don't feel that's going to happen now) have you spoken to a doctor?
