8dpo - Period like cramps?

Hi Everyone!

I am 8dpo and this evening feel as though I have mild period cramps. Could this be implantation or does implantation feel different? My breasts feel heavier and fuller and I can see blue visible veins on my chests, breasts and hips, CM seems to be creamy. Other than that no other real symptoms. I am trying not to think the period like cramps are a bad sign!

@Pollyell @mrsrichy I got my BFP this morning!! I am in a lot of shock! Happy of course but got lots of things buzzing round my mind! Really hoping for positive news from you two now! Smile xx

@sunshinecitrus1 that's really promising 🤞🤞 oh I really hope it's good news! I do think everything happens for a reason, so hope it all works out for the better for your OH.

@pollyell glad your AF has stayed away and your cramps are easing. It would be so lovely if we all got our BFPs this month. I'm feeling less positive this month now after my negatives this morning. I did an IC, FRER and early clear blue test and not a hint of a positive on any. So gutted guess time will tell

Really sorry about your OH's work situation. Seems to be happening to a lot recently. But, my SIL'S OH was made redundant recently and was gutted, but now has his dream job and is so much happier! Hope yours manages to find something.

All good today thanks! Cramps almost gone and no AF which can only be a good thing x

@Pollyell @mrsrichy Still no AF and my temp is rising! I really feel like this month is it. I’m going to get some tests after work so will soon find out. I am freaking out a bit though as the timing isn’t great as my OH has just took voluntary redundancy. So hopefully if I do get a BFP we can get things sorted quickly financially! How are you girls today?

Fingers crossed for you @mrsrichy. If you don't mind me asking, did you use the same type of test this morning ? Just wondering if different brands have different sensitivities.

@pollyell it's so hard resisting! You're not out until AF arrives. I did 2 this morning and both negative. So gutted, but I'm not due on until Mon/Tues so trying to stay positive x

@mrsrichy I think at 11DPO you can defo get a BFP in morning and BFN in evening. Sounds like a plan re. Doing one this morning then, let us know!

I have already caved and used 2 FRER, both BFN, and am not allowing any more tests in the house till Tues when I think i will be 14 dpo! What is it about using up tests? Its like instant gratification except the opposite as a BFN doesn't gratify Hahaha x

@pollyell Oh you're definitely not the only one haha. I've been googling progression line photos all night and comparing!!

I'm not gonna lie I've done another 2 today but both were blank, a bit gutted but I'm hoping it's just because my urine wasnt strong enough. I could open up a chemist with all the different brands of tests I've bought today 😂😂 think I'll do a cheap one tomorrow morning and maybe a clear blue early detection. So nervous!!

When are you planning on testing?

@mrsrichy glad I'm not the only one! It is so addictive checking mumsnet and seeing if others are in similar position, glad we "early crampers" have this thread!
When do you reckon you'll test again? The one you posted defo looks like a BFP though x

@pollyell no AF is a good sign!! Can totally relate to googling every symptom, I'm glued to google and mumsnet at the moment 🤦‍♀️😂

Thats totally fair, it is rotten seeing a BFN. Maybe will be easier for you to test at weekend too rather than during the week?

Cramps have been slightly milder today and still no AF. Getting so sick of googling symptoms now, seems to be my main focus (despite having a full time job haha)

@mrsrichy I know what you mean, I find myself googling so much about it. Trying to work out what does this mean, is this normal! Lol. I’m scared to test too early! If I think I’m pregnant and I get a BFN I am not sure how I’ll react. I definitely can see something there Smile It’s so scary to test in the fear of bad news.

@Pollyell I’m scared to test, I worry it will be a BFN. I am thinking to do it tomorrow or Saturday until I am officially late. How are you doing today?

@sunshinecitrus1 honestly temping confuses me so much! I got so stressed with mine as jumped around so much and then I panicked that I was poorly 🤦‍♀️😂 definitely definitely take a test though if you're due today!! I have everything crossed for you 🤞🤞
Ahh do you think there is a line there! I'm going to give and buy some more tests this morning, I'm so nervous though. I dont think I can take seeing the words "not pregnant" again.

@pollyell thanks for your eyes!! I really cant tell if there's any colour to it 🤷‍♀️ so nervous!

@mrsrichy I can see a faint line for sure! Are you going to do anymore testing!? Grin exciting!! What do you think of my BBT chart? My temp has elevated today and AF is due today. 16dpo today and my cramps seem to have subsided, I’ve had them for a few days expecting AF to come but nothing. I am usually like clockwork so this feels very different for me!

@Pollyell Thank you! To be honest I don’t feel as though AF is coming today, apart from a tightness feeling (not cramps) in my stomach area, my symptoms seem to have disappeared! My temp has gone up today too which by now I’d usually have a dip... What do you think?

It may still be a little early for you, you’re not out yet! Fingers crossed, you’re slowly getting closer to the end of your TWW so not too much longer to wait Smile

I've caved and have done a cheap test this morning, think I'm 11DPO. I dont want to get my hopes up but I think there's a v faint line! I'm not sure if it has any colour to it though. The control line actually showed before the test line?! Never had that before!
What do you ladies think?! Please be honest... if it isn't there I wont be offended!!

I think I am 8 or 9 dpo today. Confession time, I did an FRER last night and it was obv BFN - don't know what else I was expecting! But I've learnt my lesson and going to wait till next Tuesday.

@Pollyell Haha! I am very strict on myself! I just prefer to wait until I am officially “late” before testing. I am pretty much like clockwork with my cycle and AF is due tomorrow so we shall see. I am the same as you, feel like she is going to come any minute! It has been like that for a few days now, since Sunday I would say. Remind me, how many dpo are you now? The sore boobs are a good sign for you!

I’ve had cramps again today, feel like AF is coming any second, my temp remained the same as yesterday... I have a feeling I will probably wake up to a temp drop in the morning but I am keeping my fingers crossed! Smile

@sunshinecitrus1 I am so impressed that you've lasted to 15 dpo without testing! I've ordered some FRER's and not sure i will be able to hold off till next tues.
I still have sore boobs, they aren't any bigger but DP couldn't believe how firm they were. Mild, basically constant cramp now. Honestly just keep expecting to see blood!

How are you getting on today?

@Pollyell No problem! My temp is still elevated, it was more or less the same as yesterday this morning. But it’s CD28 for me tomorrow (15dpo!) which is usually my cycle length so I am wondering whether it may drop in the morning Sad Yeah I think it could be leukorhea, again, that could mean AF or pregnancy! My cramps feel mild compared to yesterday and the day before but I do feel as though AF is going to be here any minute.

The sore breasts sound like a good sign for you! How have you been today?

@sunshinecitrus1 apologies, I just saw you asked about your temp chart. I dont temp but I see @uncliche has answered - sounds promising for you! Do you think it is leukorhea youre having?

My pain just feels like a mild dull ache deep in pelvis, no worse than what I get during normal period. Boobs also feel as if they're bruised. Keep expecting to wipe and see blood but nothing so far. What is your pain like?

@uncliche this is my second cycle TTC, we did the SMEP this month. How about you?

@Pollyell I really hope so! I am back to work tomorrow so will be able to keep busy there for the next few days Smile Funnily enough I was reading about leukorhoea yesterday. I never realised how similar early pregnancy symptoms were to PMS! Those cramps can only be a good sign, especially if you’re not used to having them! How are they at the moment? x
