@mackjm20 the work conversation is yet to occur... I'm hesitant to tell them as I'm worried it's going to get round pretty quick even though I want it quiet

I'm on day 4 of flashing smileys. First month TTC so don't know what's normal for me yet but husband was away Thursday, we DTD Friday, Saturday I was skipping as was going to do every other then he was sick yesterday 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ he's working away Thursday/Friday/Saturday so I really really hope I get my peak tomorrow!! Going to DTD today tomorrow and Wednesday if we can manage!

@MissDreanor90 I use the CB dual hormone and they're fab there's no guessing involved it just shows a picture xx

@MissDreanor90 welcome :) opks (I use fermometer ones) which show an LH surge before ovulation then bbt (thermometer which you take your temp every morning) if you ovulate your temp will increase to over 36.4 after ovulation :) that’s my minimal understanding as this is only my second month tracking :)

Does anyone know how to tell if you're ovulating? I am using an app to track it and my periods are pretty regular but nothing is happening

I used a boots fertility test which came back negative for myself and partner but unsure how trust worthy these are as there's mixed reviews online

@Wowthisisreal nooo I’m sorry I didn’t mean it to make you test! I meant it like in a good way that you are so strong for not testing! I wish I would make myself wait as BFNs are the worst and I end up seeing loads every cycle x

@Wowthisisreal fair play to you honestly that’s so good if you can wait! I have a terrible impulse to always test from 9dpo I just can never help myself! Most BFPs in this group have been from 10/11 dpo onwards :) thank you :) trying so fingers crossed it helps and also that I start to ovulate again :) this cycle has been a nightmare lol!

Fingers crossed for you @mackjm20 and well done on the weight loss! That will be making a positive impact and will be really important when you get that BFP!

Thanks! @mackjm20 10/11 days Dpo. I have no idea when to test. App says period due in 4 days. I'm going to try and wait it out until next weekend as AF should have arrived by then.

Know exactly what you mean about it being a chore we actually laugh about it now! I cannot wait until sex is sex again and now dtd to ttc! It’s just not as enjoyable!

So update from me I am now CD19 I’ve had ‘high’ opk on 3/5/6/7 but no peak. my bbt is all over the place and I have no clue what’s going on! After I came on af 5 days early last month and had a longer af than usual I’m really not sure what’s happening. No bbt has been over the coverline so doesn’t seem like I’ve ovulated which is so frustrating. I’m trying to stay positive but it’s really got me down this weekend feel like I’m doing everything right diet/ exercise/ no alcohol/ no caffeine and my body just isn’t having it. Maybe it’s just like adapting to hormonal changes with weight loss etc so trying to stay focused on that but with this being cycle 6 and it seeming very minimal chance I will even ovulate I can’t help but feel a tad deflated. Just got to put my big girl pants on and hope that it happens eventually :) on the plus another 2lb weight loss this week taking me closer to that healthy bmi so every cloud :) hope everyone is okay :) xxx

cd 27 and the urge to test is getting intense... no more 'spotting' since the other day but crazy vivid dreams for the past week and back ache today and yesterday. I'm really really really trying to act like it isn't a big deal but 😬 when should I test!? Or do I just wait it out?! I need to be strong and I know the chances of it happening are slim and I've probably just got confirmation bias.

@Kayeyeem I've no idea but I will say that I think you do notice a lot more cramping when you're TTC, I've had cramping and EWCM nearly every day since Wed this week, I'm still not sure if I ovulated back on Wednesday or if it's happening now.
I would just say have plenty of sex just to make sure you're covered.

Ok I'm a bit dumb when it comes to female health 🙈 but I've just had an 11 day period with a couple of days of spotting ending yesterday. I'm apparently 3 days away from ovulation day (according to the Clue tracking app) but this afternoon I've got cramping on my right side only. Could this be ovulation? I've never known when I've ovulated before 🙈😆

Hi all could I join please? Husband and I were going to wait until after my sisters wedding in the summer but it's been postponed so we've decided to take the plunge and start TTC now! I started the pill in sept to control my endometriosis pain so I stopped that on the 23rd jan, had my WB bleed a couple of days later. Started CB OPK on Monday, got my flashing smiley Thursday. DH was working away so DTD Friday and planning for again today then 2 days in a row with he static smiley. Hope that's enough! It's the most sex we would of had for a long long time 😂 I know it's unlikely but I'd love to get pregnant this cycle so we have a November baby!

@Magnum99 My kids are 5 and 2 🙂 Having taken awhile to conceive my youngest I'm trying to not worry that age will play a part in being able to conceive a 3rd but I'm not succeeding 😆

Apparently there's more chance of twins at our age - I'd love that!

Similar happened to my friend - took her about 18 months to get pregnant with her 1st but then got pregnant with her 2nd in the first month of trying. You just never know.

@NewbieB The thing is you never know what's going to happen, there are things that can't be planned for. Hopefully he gets on board with it 🤞🏼 My DH works full time in a physically demanding job and then comes home and works on our extension project, he's worn out but we just have to try and keep sex fun 😉
