No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

This has been a particularly hard cycle hasn't it, at least when AF arrives on time the TWW is actually only two weeks and not almost four. I've really struggled with it!

Trying to look at it positively too! I'm sorry to you girls who've also had AF arrive, but the end of one cycle and the start of another. I was beginning to panic (worst case scenario as always) that it had just disappeared and wouldn't come back!

@HJen22 I’m praying that it’s because I have ovulated late my fingers are crossed. I did start tracking although I found it a bit overwhelming xx

@Bgrace8 New Year's Day is my birthday ! Haaha yes we will be similar timings ! Hopefully better news all around next cycle and non of this crap !

I'm expecting AF too but I feel so cheated by all of my symptoms this month and not sure I can do another month like this one! My mood has been so much better since coming off of the pill so I'm pleased that seems to of settled but cramping nausea and sore boobs for most of the month feels like a bit of a joke 😭 I'm only on month 3 of coming off it so I know my body is still adjusting but I wasn't on it for very long (just over a year) and the previous months were okay.

Anyway, I am trying to look at positives if AF comes it means I can have a Christmas drink. Think I might need it 😂

@sociallydistained how annoying ! My cramps etc have got worse along with a bit of spotting so I think AF will be in full flow by this evening

Obviously dodgy tests I had ! Who knows oh well onwards and upwards as they say I just want AF out the way now ! Xx

I had a single spot on Monday night and again just now. The very smallest streak of blood in discharge so could be a sign of AF (I thought this Monday night too) again, in limbo. I do wish I was in a working from home job but maybe I would wallow and stress even more, I'm not sure but as it is I work full time and have to pretend nothing is up with me which I find emotionally draining but I do seem to be quite good as it 😂

@ImpatientMama thank you! ❤️ We’re ttc our first baby I suffered a MMC in July so I think I’m just so desperate to be pregnant again! Everyday it hurts a little more! So we have been TTC since August xx

@Bgrace8 Thank you also! I’m going to try my best to keep my mind off it but no matter how hard I try it’s always there. Then the voice or my head tells me “just do a test! It might be positive this time” ☹️

@Darcy278 welcome! You are not alone, we have all been going through the same thing and it's really helped to have the girls to talk to this week. It's such a horrible wait and BFNs are so sad to see, but as @Donnat89 said, maybe you ovulated later, have you done any tracking?

If my BF doesn't think a rest would do us good, I can't decide whether to track and DTD every 2/3 days all month or not track. I found the OPKs ok but the BBT was a bit stressful. On the app I had I paid for analysis which did me absolutely no good, it runs out soon though and I'll stick with the standard. Tracking and apps can give such false hope, messes with my head!

Spotting has started so Af defo on her way. X

@Bgrace8 yes I bet you do like it's disappointing of course but not knowing is far worse I think . Like you I just want to start to look forward to Christmas and also my birthday ! Obviously a BFP would be fantastic but would rather no and then deal with feeling a bit gutted and just move forward !

I'm going to try and not overthink it anymore and keep busy ! X

@Donnat89 I know I feel a little relieved, would have been even more worried if it was the end of the week and stil no AF just want to crack on get over it and try again for my birthday and Christmas! It’ll happen when it happens ☺️. Let me know how you get on as faint lines are reassuring, I don’t hear a lot about false positives on FR especially two!

@Darcy278 could be anything I know it’s not possible but try out it out your mind for a few days and see what happens at the end of the week (easier said than done especially in the first few days)

@Bgrace8 sorry AF arrived but as you said at least you know for sure now I'm at the point I just want to no either way and get on with thing

You feel but could be you ovulated later , could be late implantation or could just be a late AF . There really is no one answer at the moment . I would just test every other day if still no AF .

If by next week no AF call the gp perhaps although my GP won't do anything for a missed period until you miss like 3 xx

Well ladies my AF is here! Mixed emotions just glad I know and can crack on with life now! 🤞🏽 For a Christmas miracle.

Can I jump on ladies? I’m feeling so isolated right now and feel like I’m so alone. AF was due 4 days ago but I could just be late. Very veiny boobs also slightly sore I have been having weird cramps around time AF ‘due’ all tests are BFN’S!! Even early response ones Xx

Cramps and back ache are getting worse as the day goes on so think AF is coming at any time now ! X

I have been so grateful to have you all to talk to! I hope everyone has answers soon, and some BFPs would be amazing! I've still hope for you ladies yet who have no sign of AF!

This month has been very strange for me too, even starting AF has been different to usual!! Hopefully this was just a random off month! Onwards and upwards. Haven't spoken to my BF yet about next month, will wait until after work and have a chat! Anyone else doing anything different next month?

@HT1335 I agree last month AF was a day early but actually was a welcome relief! This being late and not knowing is awful !

But we can support each other let's hope by the end of the week we have answers either way ! Xx

It’s very strange as to why we’re all going through this but I’m glad we can discuss it and get some support. As each month is as confusing as the next for me personally! Fingers crossed for us all
At least we have this thread to guide us through x

@sociallydistained I feel your pain! I won't believe anything until either AF arrives or I get a super clear BFP , it's so hard waiting .

I also keep thinking yep AF is coming and keep going to the loo to check but nothing , I fully expected
To wake up to AF today but nothing no spotting at all which I usually do get the day of AF then full flow a few hours later .

My cycles are usually 27 days five or take a day either side sometimes but never had a cycle go beyond 30 days and only reached 30 day cycles twice now since 2019 .

If I get through today with no AF I may be a bit hopeful at the moment just in limbo and feeling like my body is playing a horrible trick on me ! X

Sorry to hear about those who have finally had AF arrive. At least it's answers and you can move on I guess. Wishing you all the luck in your new cycle!

@Donnat89 I feel like I'm going mad because I've been having cramps etc for weeks which have led me to believe AF was coming so now I don't even know what to make of any symptoms I get. Today is officially the latest I've been so expecting today but if not I will try FRER Friday/sat I guess. Seems silly trying a FRER I feel like if I was pregnant I should of shown on a regular by this point (had what I thought was implantation bleeding 2 weeks ago)

I caved and did a boots digital one I had came back negative so pretty sure AF is just going to be really late .

If still nothing by Friday I will test again . But think af will arrive at some point today ! X
