@Lucille3 it's awful waiting isn't it? Try your best to resist because the likelihood is it won't show up! I feel like same and I think I ovulated Sunday night so I'm only 4 DPO. Told my OH that apparently around 10DPO you can test and he just said "don't you just wait until you've missed a period" ... my reaction was of course pure laughter and said "yeah, if you're sane and not a POAS addict" 😂 oh what a simple mind he has 😂

@Dex1521 that sounds about right 🙌🏼👏🏻 if it is there's a good chance your LH levels will have dropped now 🙃 the levels only rise before ovulation you see xx

Lucille3 · 19/11/2020 08:10

@DrS44 I think it was probably Friday which makes today 6dpo, trying so hard to wait another week before I take a test!

@Klprr93 aw congrats you are definitely pregnant! It will be your little miracle baby 🥰

I’ve woke up today with a constant ache in my left ovary I assume? Usually I cramp right in the middle of my lower stomach but this ache is left of the middle and above my left thigh to try and explain where it’s placement is 😂

I think it could be ovulation pain 🤞will take an OPK around 12pm having a morning coffee then that’ll do me until 12 haha

DrS44 · 19/11/2020 07:54

@Klprr93 Awww wow I'm so happy for you 💛 yay!

@Lucille3 absolutely! It is such a learning curve, I was so ignorant to it all a month ago 🙈 so do you think you ovulated this month? How many DPO are you? Xx

Lucille3 · 19/11/2020 07:35

@Klprr93 sending the biggest sticky vibes and totally get that elation just to know you ovulated! I have everything crossed for you

GreenApplesYo · 19/11/2020 07:31

@klprr93 those tests are looking great! Just so amazing given that letter and everything else you've said. I have my fingers crossed for you as well. Keep us up to date! 🙂 x

AMS19 · 19/11/2020 06:42

@Klprr93 I have everything crossed for you it will stick

Klprr93 · 19/11/2020 06:32

Doesn't stick **

Klprr93 · 19/11/2020 06:31

Well my eggs last 3 days in a lab and to get tests must of lasted longer and I am not far of menapause and I'm 27. My last letter

"It was lovely to speak to you today, but unfortunately this meant your recent cycle of IVF
was once again unsuccessful. We all agreed that it was almost identical to the first cycle
and on both occasions we have not had an embryo to replace. IVF is devastating at the
best of times, and when it ends so abruptly, it makes it that much harder. My thoughts,
and those of all the team, are with you both.
Unfortunately the only way forward, as you intimated today, is egg donation. It is
something you would be willing to consider, "

Even if it doest sick around I'm over the moon that I ovulated!! 😊😊😊

AMS19 · 19/11/2020 06:15

Amazing @klprr93 you're 100% pregnant my love! They obviously got it very wrong and you absolutely can get pregnant ❤

I think it's darker this morning

POAS Anonymous - Thread 2
Lucille3 · 18/11/2020 23:08

@DrS44 ah I think that might be what caught my attention...I have a long history of anovulation and amenorrhea, so I get super excited when opks go dark 😊

I find it all pretty fascinating, how different our cycles can be.

DrS44 · 18/11/2020 21:51

@Lucille3 oh don't worry at all we welcome all POAS addicts 🤣 it was just helpful to have people just off BC so we could learn from each other I think! So when we have signs of ovulating we are all buzzing after being on BC for so long 😅 I'm only a newbie anyways but the OGs can confirm 🤣

Ahhh well everything happens for a reason! Have you started using OPKs and BBT? Xx

Lucille3 · 18/11/2020 21:14

@DrS44 oops, yep my silly mistake (I’m a long time lurker on mumsnet and rare poster!) I got a bit excited seeing people talking about ovulation.

I’ve been taking a light touch approach to trying to conceive for the last 12 months...well...my fella gets a bit freaked out by too much planning and I seem to keep ovulating at the worst time. We were incredibly lucky the first time and I think he thinks it’ll be easy again (but it’s not!)

DrS44 · 18/11/2020 21:02

@Lucille3 ahhh I see! Sorry this thread originally started off as just off birth control so I just presumed 🙃

Eeekkk when did you start trying? Xx

Lucille3 · 18/11/2020 20:56

@jessi60 yep, I have super long cycles, have all the way through my 30’s - somewhere between 36 & 40 days every month. I’ve always had issues since I started and had little support from docs. But was blessed to have a DS at 36, so hoping I can be greedy and have another 😊

@DrS44 I haven’t been on the pill for a good few years, I missed you saying you were...sorry, I’m defo reading A MILLION posts to try and distract myself from another unsuccessful cycle! Just POAS blindness 🙈

PowerOfFlowers · 18/11/2020 20:07

That Doona Pram looks great 🤣🤣 (also way ahead of myself 💁🏻‍♀️)

jessi60 · 18/11/2020 20:05

I have a lot, I’m surrounded by babies in my life 😂 sadly not my own though haha xx

Bells20 · 18/11/2020 20:04

@jessi60 eek! Loving these recommendations though, hopefully I'll actually need them soon enough!!

@AMS19 they've all been around the 0.2 mark so far. Also, if it's incognito, the search didn't happen haha

jessi60 · 18/11/2020 19:57

@Bells20 Yeah think a grand is like the average for a full travel system🤣 Although my bestie has the ickle bubba travel system and it was £500 for it all. And it’s so nice. So would recommend that one to yous aswell.

Oo it’s going up !🥳

AMS19 · 18/11/2020 19:57

@jessi60 looks good! I Google using Incognito so there was no trace 😂😂😂

@bells20 what have your previous ones been? Watch, it will come out of nowhere!

Bells20 · 18/11/2020 19:55

@jessi60 I do feel constantly reassured that I'm not the only slightly mad one on this thread 😂 That pram also sounds incredible!! Just had a quick google and cheaper than I thought it'd be too! I remember one of my friends having a baby and she told me she spent £1000 on her pram.. at the time I was driving a really old banger of a car and thought my goodness I could have brought 2 whole cars for that. I think I'm at the age now though where I'd pay all sorts of money for an easy life haha.

Little update: CD11 and got a WHOPPING 0.21 on an opk just now 😂 just casually waiting for that peak to arrive!

jessi60 · 18/11/2020 19:54

@AMS19 Yeah it’s worth a look at. I was amazed by it. But think you would only get a year out of it with it being like car seat size and your not meant to have a baby in a car seat for more than 2 hours so there’s that to consider aswell. But deffo worth looking into especially if you had the spare money. X

GreenApplesYo · 18/11/2020 19:52

@jessi60 hehe I just had a sneaky google as well. Woa such a clever idea! And it's two items for the price of one 🙂

Now must... try... avoid baby shopping wormhole...
