@Emmgrem yes ok I think it can be really normal for them to just be a bit (lot!) all over the place. My first one was 37 days after withdrawal bleed. Then next was 57 days and this one I'm on CD28 and no sign of ovulation yet. So yours could definitely get considerably longer! ☺️

@Dex1521 implantation can be any day between 6DPO and 12DPO (I think) - usually around 8/9DPO

Emmgrem · 26/11/2020 09:07

@CardioQueen yes had withdrawal bleed at the start of this month.

@Dex1521 I'm holding onto that! If you start googling short follicular phases and short cycles it's scary reading 🙈😂
But I don't think I can read too much into the first one- it's bound to be all over the place. Just seems like most people are the other way and wait ages for AF.

CardioQueen · 26/11/2020 08:56

@Emmgrem is this your first cycle after withdrawal bleed? I've lost track! 🙈

Dex1521 · 26/11/2020 08:53

Morning all! 7dpo today had mild cramps when I woke up on left side but went away after having some cereal. They were sort of the same as the pain I had on my left on my ovulation day. Also had a congested nose again. Quick question roughly when does implantation occur? Google keeps telling me all different days and I get sucked into a loop hole so try not to google anything pregnancy related anymore

@Emmgrem sorry to hear about AF. With regard to the cycle length sometimes after coming off the pill cycle can be irregular for a few months and they even themselves out over time (hopefully 🤞) so it might just be that! This is coming from someone who hasn’t seen a drop of blood since coming off the pill back in October 😂

Emmgrem · 26/11/2020 08:44

Well full on AF has arrived this morning after spotting yesterday! 😩 Forgot how awful it is haha.
However that means I've only had an 18 day cycle 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm grateful to get my AF back so soon as it's seems post-pill some of you waited for ages, but maybe not this soon as short cycles aren't going to help me fall pregnant!

What's more after a temp dip yesterday I've had a huge rise again today back to 36.92 which is one of my highest recorded temps! Surely my temp should be steady falling and staying low on AF?!

Emmgrem · 26/11/2020 08:40

@Bells20 I can't be much help but this sounds like what happened to me yesterday so I would just monitor it and wait it out to see whether it's just spotting. 🤞

Bells20 · 26/11/2020 08:27

Morning! Hope everyone is doing well today.

There was a tiny bit of blood on the tissue this morning when I went to the loo. I have some mild cramping in my lower belly and back too. Seems too early to be implantation spotting and hopefully far too early for AF, maybe too late for ovulation spotting at 4dpo so feel a little confused. Will just wait, see what happens and hope for the best but did anyone else have spotting around this time or have any thoughts about what this could be?

PowerOfFlowers · 25/11/2020 18:57

Honestly, I was exactly the same @Emmgrem AF for me is very spotting for two days, and then just red for three days. My DP was surprised when I kept saying "oh, this is what a real period feels like" 😄

jessi60 · 25/11/2020 18:46

@Bells20 Yeah I suppose it could be couldn’t it. It’s so confusing, no idea what’s going on with it all. I’ve had no other ovulation symptoms though.

@PowerOfFlowers Yeah feeling much better today. Actually managed to eat today aswell so think I’m on the up! Thanks for it asking ! 🥰

@Emmgrem God we are aren’t we. No clue what’s happening but I am feeling better thanks Xx

Emmgrem · 25/11/2020 18:40

@Bells20 @PowerOfFlowers

Thank you guys. I've only been off the pill since the very start of this month. Had withdrawal bleed after 5 days as you would expect (though it was brown and only lasted 2-3 days).

I think you're right, time will tell. I feel silly asking what AF is like but the last one I had off the pill was aged 16 and those used to be really heavy to I'm not sure what to expect for my first real one in 13 years now 😂

It's good to know you had symptoms for 2 weeks before AF post pill though @PowerOfFlowers - at least I know thats normal.

@jessi60 sounds like you're having a really confusing cycle the same as me! Hope you're feeling better!

PowerOfFlowers · 25/11/2020 18:23

How are you feeling today @jessi60 ? Are you feeling any better?
How long have you been off the pill now @Emmgrem? I would wait to see what happens tomorrow and the day after. I didn't get spotting like that so soon, but definitely had pmt symptoms for two weeks before AF arrived in the first few months of being off the pill.

Bells20 · 25/11/2020 18:15

@jessi60 that definitely looks like a strong test! you could try testing again this evening as it might be peak time? I have almost no medical knowledge haha but I'm sure it's a thing that people can have a delayed period if they're really poorly. Could it be that because you've been so unwell your whole cycle has been pushed back and maybe you are just ovulating now and this cycle will be longer as a result. So keep us updated

@Emmgrem oh that's interesting. Normally there is a temp drop before AF arrives and does seem like you've had that but also seems quite early doesn't it. I guess I would wait and see what happens today/tomorrow as to whether AF arrives. I'm sure someone will correct me if this isn't quite right but I think spotting is much lighter and more pink or brown whereas a period would be more red and a lot more of a 'flow'.

Emmgrem · 25/11/2020 18:00

Here's my chart for reference (Can't work out how to edit my last post to add this!)

POAS Anonymous - Thread 2
Emmgrem · 25/11/2020 17:59

So I've been bleeding (light red/pink) and period type cramps and emotional all day but only on CD19 - what is going on?! I had a headache two days too, so figures with PMT type symptoms..
0 on OPKs still. Not sure whether to count this as CD1 and start again like FF is telling me to, or to wonder about ovulation bleeding (but O on OPKs still and no EWCM since about CD8) or implantation bleeding, or some other kind of weird spotting as my body adjusts to being off the pill?
Anyone experienced this?? How do you know whether it's a period or not... what should I be monitoring for now? 🤷🏻‍♀️

jessi60 · 25/11/2020 17:40

@PowerOfFlowers Yeah maybe I could have a longer cycle this time. Just think it’s odd they’ve stayed high for so long😂
Unless I have a dodgy batch of strips 🤦🏻‍♀️ Xx

PowerOfFlowers · 25/11/2020 16:05

Hello! 🙋🏻‍♀️
Ooh @Foxl2222 Keep dtd!! Good work on 7/8 times since Friday! Keep testing so you can see if it goes up or down.
Thanks for posting your chart @positivitytree2020 its making sense and it helps me understand why we're all testing like we are. 🤞🏻 for you!
Welcome @Jojobobo and really hoping it works out for you!
I'm not an expert in any way @jessi60 but maybe you're about to hit your peak? My cycle was 28 days to start with after coming off the pill, then went up to 34/35 days so don't rule yourself out yet. If I were you I'd keep dtd and testing.
Cd17 over here and starting to see movements in my opks going up. Only a small movement but hopefully it'll keep going up. I'll test again about 9pm tonight and see how that one is. We've also just dtd after the last test 😄

I’ve rescanned it in now it’s fully dry. Think I was too eager before. And it’s even higher at 0.95😳 I’m meant to have my period in 8 days 😂

@Foxl2222 great news that you got a surge! 🙌🏼 Ye did it loads this cycle so I’m sure you’d be covered! 😂 apparently the days before ovulation are best anyway!
Check your temps the next 3 days coz that’s the only way to know for sure that you ovulated, a surge alone might not mean it!
I am 4DPO so in the TWW as well 😊

positivitytree2020 · 25/11/2020 13:35

@Bells20 nice chart, yours looks very similar to mine! 🤗 let’s hope our temps stay up! 🙌🏼 I am the same, trying not to symptom spot coz I’ll just start imagining things otherwise! Gonna resist the urge to take a test too soon coz I’ll only end up upset! 😂 I love the google search, I did google can you get BFP 4DPO!! 😂 similar to you I got a big fat no!! 😂

Foxl2222 · 25/11/2020 11:13

🤞@Dex1521 the symptom spotting is the worst! At least your half way through the wait! Hang in there 🙌🙌 xx

Dex1521 · 25/11/2020 10:46

@Bells20 that’s a lot of times since Friday so I hope it goes to plan for you!! I’m 6dpo today and today’s the first day I’ve had any symptoms really up to now I’ve felt fine but feeling nauseous and tired today and have a blocked nose on one side. All PG symptoms but trying to not get my hopes up either

Foxl2222 · 25/11/2020 10:32

Morning ladies! I finally got a surge🤞 does this mean I ovulated yesterday as that was my peak? And now it's on way down again? Will keep testing for a few days and see what happens! Dtd about 7/8 times between Friday and this morning, but of all days yesterday I was home late from work and neither me or OH could manage it😅, hopefully something will come of it🤞Already have the frer's ordered- so here goes my "relaxed, going with the flow" TWW🙈

Anyone else starting TWW 😃

Congrats @Jojobobo that line is pretty clear to me. I've seen people post a lot more faint. Maybe keep testing with some cheapies and see what happens! Frers are expensive.

@Bells20 haha yeah originally talking about house prices up north compared to south coast then I mentioned holidays to the south coast. Definitely would love to go to Brighton heard so many good things about it!

Also to add to my post about 6dpo and waking up congested I’ve just eaten a bagel thin with butter and omg I want to puke 🤢 good job my makeshift home office is next door to the bathroom 😂

Bells20 · 25/11/2020 10:10

@positivitytree2020 hopefully we can keep each other sane over the next week or so haha I'm also trying not to symptom spot- got a slight twinge of a headache today and have googled 'is it possible to get a BFP at 3dpo?' The answer was a resounding no of course 😂 your chart looks fab, here's mine if anyone's interested. Had a really interesting temp dip on the day of my peak! I'm planning to test at 12dpo with an FRER which will be next Friday but let's not pretend I won't try a few Internet cheapies before then haha

@Jojobobo sorry I can't offer any real advice really but I'm thinking some people can have a later implantation so it could just be that you don't have enough HCG in your body yet and that line will get darker over the next few days? Wishing you lots of luck though!

@Emmgrem @Dex1521 missed what you guys were talking about but just wanted to second that Brighton is just an amazing place and I too would recommend a trip!

@GreenApplesYo how are you getting on? X
