Hello 👋🏼

I got a faint BFP yesterday at 10dpo and another one today. I'm going to keep testing over the next few days but fingers crossed it's right 🤞🏼

I've not yet told me partner as I want to be 100% certain so I'm looking for some friends to keep me sane 🤣

I'm not sure if any others will have positives for late July/August yet but I can't wait to meet you all 🥰

@jennaxc im all sorted now thankyou, ended up being sent to hospital and stayed in over night to get plenty of fluids in by iv but i feel ten times better! Got a prescription for antisickness tablets and they’ve changed my life! Feel like i can function now!

jennaxc · 05/01/2021 19:10

Happy new year everyone!

@Hollyc07 I'm so sorry you're feeling so rubbish. I was really struggling before Christmas and spoke to my midwife who told me to ask the doctors for some anti sickness tablets. It really was a last resort but they have worked wonders! I can take up to three a day just when I'm feeling nauseous snd the feeling goes pretty quickly. Maybe you could try asking about some?

Hi ladies, happy new year to you all and hope you had a good christmas

@TedLife thats amazing news! Its the best feeling in the world.

Just wanted to see (have a moan) if anyone else is struggling with sickness? Im at the stage where i cant even keep water down, dont want to over react but im not sure whether i need to call the midwife?

I had the odd day where i felt sick with my first but the last two weeks have been pure hell cry cry cry

TedLife · 21/12/2020 11:59

Hey guys, sorry for the silence, i've been letting my anxiety get the better of me the past few weeks! We had a private scan on Friday and after a week of backache and cramps I was not feeling optimistic but lo and behold... there it was! A little bean with a good steady heartbeat. Measuring 2 days behind LMP which makes sense to me as I think I ovulated 2 days later than expected anyway.

She also identified a small hematoma (bleed) underneath the foetus so I may get bleeding at some stage, apparently this is due to implantation. Otherwise it will just reabsorb into my womb so by my 12 week scan i might not know any difference.

How is everyone doing? I'm so incredibly nauseous at the moment, I never had this with my first so it's floored me!

Hollyc07 · 18/12/2020 18:48

We had our scan on wednesday and saw our little baby and their heartbeat so that was honestly the best

Still feeling super ropey all day every day! Had cramps on and off too but trying not to worry

jennaxc · 17/12/2020 22:27

How is everyone doing?

I'm coming up to 9 weeks on Sunday and I'm pretty sure I see a little bump.. maybe not.. I know you can bloat quite a lot so maybe it's that! Has anyone else spotted one yet?

Nausea still here although being out of the house all day today has made me feel so much better.

@b060rosie i’m the same! Good days and bad days - although weirdly i find the bad days more comforting as i feel like hopefully that means something is going right!

I’m really struggling with drinks now - can only just squeeze water down and even that is a struggle

How are you feeling??

b060rosie · 15/12/2020 18:30

@Hollyc07 are you feeling any better? I have good days and bad days.

Snacks and drinking a lot of water seem to help me. If I get hungry / dehydrated, I feel sooooo sick!!

I can't wait for my scan, it'll be in the new year. Really looking forward to it.

b060rosie · 15/12/2020 18:29

@jennaxc I have my booking appt on 23rd, and I think we have the same estimated due date!! Xx

Hollyc07 · 10/12/2020 21:02

Im the same, seem to mainly only stomach plain carbs which is doing absolutely nothing for my waist already haha! Hopefully the nausea will end for us all soon! Counting down until our scan on weds now im so nervous/excited

jennaxc · 10/12/2020 20:17

@TJM123 all I seam to be able to eat at the moment is toast and tangerines. I've luckily not been physically sick many times. So hoping this doesn't last too much longer. 7+3 today 🤞🏼

Thank you @Hollyc07 @jennaxc 🤞🤞 Have been feeling nauseous today so I hope it’s a good sign! When I had my DS I had a real aversion to garlic for the whole pregnancy, it used to set me off all the time 🤢

jennaxc · 08/12/2020 21:06

@Hollyc07 I hope you're ok, the nausea is horrible isnt it. Im struggling too, so glad I'm working from home no idea how I would cope if I was in the office. I'm finding eating plain food is helping. Any strong smell even soap makes me feel nauseous. The whole kitchen smells of garlic at all times too which isn't great. Hopefully this gets better 🤣

@TJM123 so hoping it sticks for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Had nausea now since last Wednesday. Told work today as we will now be used by the NHS for vaccines so was forced to really. Living off crackers, toast and ginger nuts

Hollyc07 · 08/12/2020 17:42

@TJM123 so sorry about your news but yay for your bfp!! I really hope this one sticks for you x

TJM123 · 08/12/2020 16:52

Hey ladies! Hope you don’t mind me joining in... I got a BFP today! The only thing is that I forgot to log my period so I have no idea when I’m due... I think it was around 8 Nov so I’d be due in mid Aug? I had 2 MCs this year - my last one was at 10 weeks in October so I’m feeling a big hormonal mess of terrified and excited all at the same time 🤯 x

Hollyc07 · 08/12/2020 16:14

I’ve had the worst few days of nausea already - thought i was going to get away with it! Working from home next week and have an early scan so hope it comes round quickly.

How are you doing @jennaxc

jennaxc · 08/12/2020 12:39

Not good news got me I'm afraid seems my bleed was a miscarriage so no sign of pregnancy at the scan and the tests they did all negative . So back TTC for us .

On the onus side my ovaries etc all look healthy xxxx

Good luck ladies xxx

Hollyc07 · 04/12/2020 09:57

@Boredinthehouse12 i’ve been taking it too, i read that it said to take it on a full stomach and thats been helping me

rosieb060 · 04/12/2020 09:31

@Boredinthehouse12 I take it.

I read somewhere to take it at the time of day you feel least nauseous. So I do mine first thing, as my nausea arrives before teatime.

Smushty14 · 04/12/2020 08:04

@Boredinthehouse12 I'm just on tesco own brand folic acid 🤣

I haven't been too bad with smells so far, it's more the tiredness and sore nips/boobs that is getting to me
