@Bethy1995 symptoms are hard as AF and pregnancy are the same symptoms. I seme to get different every month so never have a clue. Hope its your month!
@popcorndiva congrats lovely.
@rose2108 I'm pretty sure it will be here by morning Sad. Bad cramps worse than normal and feel a bit sick too. Dreading every time I go the toilet now.
@Pinksworthy90
Sorry to hear about your mmc.
I also started around that time and no hint of a BFP in anyway. Feeling down and AF about to start too. I'm usually consoled by dh too. I feel like it's never gonna happen sometimes but then a new month I try to be positive that it's a new hope again.

Pinksworthy90 · 17/11/2020 15:29

Hi All,

I hope you don't mind me joining. We have been trying since Jan this year. Fell pg in March but that sadly ended up being a MMC at 9-10 weeks. Since then I have been feeling like its never gonna happen again. I wasn't too conscious about my diet and supplements earlier, but now I'm feeling like there must be something lacking in me, hence I have ordered CoQ10 and Vit B6. Apparently also because I start spotting from 11-12 dpo onwards, which would make my Luteal Phase shorter and I have heard these might help.

I was really hoping November would be my month, but AF arrived yesterday and feeling quite low since. It became more depressing when DH expressed his disappointment too, which he usually doesn't. He will actually be the one to console me every time when AF arrives. Feeling lost to be honest and trying to find ways to keep myself positive.

popcorndiva · 17/11/2020 10:59

@Rose2108 we dtd 6 times up to ovulation on 7,9,11,13 14 and 16 . I then ovulated 17dpo.
The first three times we were on holiday in the cotswolds so that helped giving us some time once DS was in bed

Theawkwardblonde · 17/11/2020 10:58

The thing us, I've definitely had chemicals in the past. I've actually started taking seven seas conception about 6 weeks ago and wondering if this has delayed ovulation (read reviews that it can).
That's the only thing different, and this month (first time ever) my period has been significantly shifted which would support not ovulating this month. It's definitely different to my normal bleed. Could it be the seven seas bedding my cycle?

Rose2108 · 17/11/2020 10:48

@Theawkwardblonde Oh I am so sorry to hear this, how stressful for you. To try and look at the positives, at least you now know what is stopping you guys from your positive result and will get some help now? I know lots of happy outcomes from treatment of PCOS and other conditions. I really hope this will lead to some more support. I know it must feel really bleak at the moment and so unfair but you are not alone.

I do worry whether I am or not because I never get a peak on the ovulation sticks! But other than that I have no reason to think I am not. I checked the BMI scale and I am a few points overweight so that has given me something to focus on, try and lose some pounds! Easier said than done when I am stuck at home all day.

Hi @Bethy1995, It's hard because those symptoms can be the same as AF! I am not sure on cervix as not monitored this before. Keeping everything crossed for you it's a BFP, they do sound like all the right signs! The waiting game is the worst isn't it!

Ah Congrats @popcorndiva! What lovely news and thanks for the tips on what you have been doing this cycle. If you don't mind me asking, how many times did you DTD before ovulation? Just not sure if we are doing it enough or on the right days of the cycle.

@Lovebug06 Let us know is AF comes, you never know. I am now in the TWW so just trying to keep busy as nothing we can do now.

@AKcheer Oh no I just started pregnacare this month, have been using 7 seas previously with no issues. My friend just gave me these because she fell pregnant and wasn't going to be using them! Oh great here I go with another delayed AF! Lol. Hope you are doing okay and AF isn't too horrific

popcorndiva · 16/11/2020 17:57

I definitely have been more tired, lower back pain around 6-7dpo

Bethy1995 · 16/11/2020 17:53

Hiya,

I hope all you lovely ladies are ok!

So we've been TTC since April and you may have seen me jump on posts before I had to take a break as I became obsessive.

Now after relaxing a little and BD every 2-3 days I'm experiencing something a little different that I wanted to share to see if this is a good sign or not, any ladies got their bfp with the following?

-tiredness like allllllll the time
-frequent urination
-period like cramps
-lots of CM
-Cervix high, soft and open

I'm currently CD25 and have a 30 day cycle so I wouldn't get a bfp until next week most likely if it's meant to be

Theawkwardblonde · 16/11/2020 17:51

Bad news for me ladies. Blood tests show I haven't ovulated this month. So the doctors are now of the mindset that I'm not ovulating every cycle, only on the ones where I've had a chemical. So in 14 months that would be 4 (I think) times. Have to go for additional tests on Friday then they will decide where to go from there. Devastated. I knew there would be an issue with me and I was right.

Bowsie15 · 16/11/2020 17:00

@popcorndiva congratulations!! There's no denying it! So so pleased for you ❤

popcorndiva · 16/11/2020 14:01

Didn't just trust the one test so sneaked a few more when my DS went for his nap. So much better when you see the words

Anyone been trying for 5 months plus and want to chat?
Birchybirch · 16/11/2020 12:55

Ah, huge congratulations!

I'm on another couple of threads, and they mentioned taking aspirin too, so I'm really tempted to try it! X

AKcheer · 16/11/2020 12:55

Omg @popcorndiva this is the best news!! Congratulations girl!! Such a strong positive!! This is amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I then and this is what I think helped took baby aspirin since ovulation

Early days though so will test again in a couple of days

Anyone been trying for 5 months plus and want to chat?
Lovebug06 · 15/11/2020 19:27

@1izzie I have felt like that the last few months, I'm right near the end of cycle ten. I think it's that initial excitement and kind of expecting it to happen and then it doesn't... It has left me deflated and kind of worried. But then I tell myself it's normal, and each month is another hope! And that there are lots of other women going through this too, like us on here. I hope your okay x
@AKcheer thankyou. Yes I feel like social media is full of scans and newborns atm! Hopefully it will be our time soon to get some good news.
@Rose2108 I weirdly hadn't thought of that. When we are over the moon there'll be another poor girl feeling rubbish about it. Ahh it's so hard isn't it. My AF is due within the next couple of days and I know it's coming i can feel it but I still have that hope... Even though I know it's silly.

1izzie · 15/11/2020 18:16

Honestly I really needed that, thank you so much @AKcheer! It's so nice to know you're not alone in this 🥰 yes we are baby dancing a lot at the moment, fingers crossed!

AKcheer · 15/11/2020 18:12

@JLP256 LOL it always comes just after a test!! Oh yeah! Onto this new cycle! And then it’s a fresh start!

I used to take pregnacare and boy did that mess with my cycle!! Oh god it really messed up my cycle and made me so anxious because my cycle has always been so normal!!! You’ll have to let me know what the 7 seas ones are like xx

@1izzie welcome and of course you can join! It really is hard isn’t it. You get your hopes up and then boom AF. But we’re all in this together and here to support each other so we will get through this. So if your day 14 you probably should be ovulating at some point soon if you haven’t already! Exciting! I know it’s hard, but we got to take each month as a new month and out our focus into it. Try not to be disappointed and deflated on a new cycle xxx

1izzie · 15/11/2020 17:34

Hey everyone,

Hope it's okay if I join! Currently cycle day 14 of cycle 8, feeling very vey very deflated the last couple of cycles. I'm finding it so hard because I know me and my husband are so ready and we both want this so bad, I just feel like it will never come and I don't know what to do :(

JLP256 · 15/11/2020 16:29

Hey everyone!

@AKcheer @Rose2108 thanks for the messages, AF came yesterday (right after my BFN annoyingly) so I was pretty gutted about that because I felt weirdly hopeful this month. But also glad I’m just on to the next cycle now because AF was so late and it felt like I was just wasting time waiting if I wasn’t pregnant!

I’ve been taking Pregnacare conception and I’m sure I saw someone on here saying it can mess with your cycles...does anyone know? Anyway switching to Seven Seas now.

Hope everyone’s had a good weekend x

AKcheer · 15/11/2020 09:51

Morning guys how are you!? AF arrived for me properly yesterday thank god so at least after this I can start again!

@Birchybirch Yes I can imagine must have her so hard. It’s so odd isn’t it. At school and everywhere it’s drilled into you about protection...and if you have sex then you will get pregnant!! Not reality because we’re having plenty of sex but bit pregnant!!

Best thing to the and relax and not let it take over your life i think. Especially if you are healthy and have a good diet then it should be ok.

Yeah definitley. It’s always good to at least know when you are because not everyone is the average cycle day 14!!

@JLP256 Uhh how annoying. Just hate the waiting game. How you feeling today?

@Theawkwardblonde I’m sorry to hear about your BFN. Don’t lose hope. I know it’s hard but you got to stick in there. Don’t give up. Wait until AF and it’s a new start xx

@Lovebug06 Hey how you doing!? It’s hard sometimes when you see so much on social media but like you said we have to be patient and when it’s our time it will be our time and it will the most magical moment. I’m also hoping now next year at least please!!

Hey gals. Anyone else a golf widow lol... It's been on the Tele all weekend!! Current knitting and waiting for 10pm so I can go to bed!

Welcome @Birchybirch - so sorry to hear about your doggo, I can imagine how awful that was but how exciting to start a new chapter. I hope you see some good results on the ovulation prediction kits. I must say that I have never seen a "peak" on the femometer ones and am thinking of trying the CB ones but they're just so blinkin expensive! For something I am going to pee on!! But will probs give them a go next month as apparently they are better. I haven't had implantation cramps myself. But last month my body played tricks on me and I had so many symptoms... Headache, nausea, peeeing alot, etc... And I was just 3 days late for no reason at all ...

@Lovebug06 hey :) yep sounds like we are all in the same boat... But we will get there one day! And then we will be the people that are annoying those trying! Lol. I hope your next cycle is the one!

Okay @NatMoz have you ever tried a moon cup! I am a convert they are amazing, after the initial weirdness. It's a game changer. Good luck for your run.

@JLP256 I feel your frustration as this was me last month and even though you know you probably aren't, until you get AF there is always the "what if..." - I hope you know for sure either way soon as limbo is the worst.

Well I think ovulation is tomorrow for me, though not certain as these sticks in using are a bit naff. I do find CM is a good indication so will have a look at that tomorrow and am doing bbt. What will be will be!

Right nearly 10pm that's bedtime for me! Xx

Lovebug06 · 14/11/2020 16:32

Hi all,
I am nearing the end of cycle 10 for my first. Feel like it's never going to happen, so many scans on social media, friends and family pregnant, all by accident or trying a few weeks! It feels so unfair sometimes, but I tell myself it will happen, I think most likely next year obviously now. Good luck girls x

Birchybirch · 14/11/2020 13:24

Ah sorry to heat about your bfn's, we've got to keep trying to believe that next time is our time 🤞 one of my friends was ttc with her second in her late 20's and it took her 2 years, so there's absolutely no rhyme or reason to any of this.

Does anyone else feel like they have implantation cramps towards the end of their cycle? On my 1st attempt I had af cramps about 4 days before I was due on, and this month, I had pinching pains on my left hand side on the day af was due (I was a day late). I know I'm probably reading too much into it, but I do wonder sometimes if it works, but then my body freaks out and rejects it... It probably isn't the case, but I'd never really noticed it before ttc... X

Theawkwardblonde · 14/11/2020 12:56

I broke my rule and tested today with a frer (11dpo) and obviously bfn. Cycle 15 I'm going on to. Don't know how much more I can take. I'm finding it harder each month, especially with so many people around me pregnant from one time slips ups, or having babies.

JLP256 · 14/11/2020 08:14

Morning, just got another BFN and this is now my longest cycle ever (well since I started tracking 2 yrs ago). Confused!

Welcome @Birchybirch this really is a lovely supportive thread :) hope you get your BFP soon!

Birchybirch · 14/11/2020 01:21

Ah thank you @akcheer yeah having him pts was the hardest thing I've had to do, but thankfully we were there for him and it was quick.

Yeah it will be our 1st. It's so funny that it's drilled into us to be careful, and use contraception, to prevent pregnancy, but it's never 100% guaranteed. Makes it seem like the minute you stop using protection, boom, it will happen immediately, but I'm learning its not quite that simple.

I'm trying not to let it take over too much. I've cut down on my alcohol intake, taking my follic acid daily, and trying to eat a little better, but then I didn't drink excessively, or have a terrible diet to start with. If I want that rum and Coke or biscuit, I'm still allowing myself to have it, just trying to get more good stuff in me too. I know this journey can take a couple of years, but it's hard not to get your hopes up every month.

It wi be really interesting to find out when I'm ovulating compared to when I think I am. I might be mistaken, but I think the cb test may even be able to confirm if I am, so that could maybe provide answers /rule out that issue if we do need to get the docs involved. I guess we'll see! Wishing us all the best of luck, and hope we all get our bfp's soon! X
