Anyone been trying for 5 months plus and want to chat?

@Kirby173 don't give up hope yet, I've got my fingers crossed for you. I am CD4 now! AF has just about gone. I am going to just try and dtd every other day for the next month and see what happens.

Just an update... I don’t know what it is but something is telling me there’s a BFN waiting for me at the end of this 2ww so I’m ready for it before I’ve even got it 😂 I’m 8 DPO today. My husband literally just popped his head around the door and asked when we could test and when AF is due. We could tomorrow using the FRER but I don’t want to! Going to try and hold out as long as possible!

@AKcheer wow I feel you!!! I met some work friends in a park earlier today and we usually go on bottomless brunches together so we’ve just been discussing all the things we’re going to do when this lockdown is over! Desperate for some Prosecco haha! Hoping TTC is successful though I would prefer that but a bottomless brunch is a good conciliation prize if we’re unsuccessful for the next few months! It sounds like implantation bleeding maybe?! Please keep us posted but I’m hoping things are positive for you!

@Jamill87 I am so sorry it’s horrible isn’t it?! Where abouts are you in your cycle now? I know you mentioned AF came early for you?

@AKcheer yeah it is soul destroying some months isn't it. He was ok but he puts on a brave face on and says if it happens it happens but I see how excited he gets when he thinks i am, makes me so sad.

I hope you feel better soon, it does sound like implantation bleeding but I have learnt to not trust symptoms too much. When is AF due? 3 days? Mine was 2 days early this month.

Morning everyone! Thanks so much for asking about me. I am a bit up and down, really thought we had done it this month. Going into month 9 I think now. I had even convinced myself I could still get a bfp when AF was still light. Its heavier than normal now so no chance. I feel really guilty for getting dps hopes up too so I am going to really try and not talk about symptoms in future. I am going to have a month off all the stressing and enjoy christmas I think. Also planning to not test till after AF is due in future as I just drive myself mad.

I hope everyone else is ok, where are you all in your cycle now?

Hi @Kirby173 I’m good thanks! I’ve been having a teeny bit of cramping but I’ve also been snapping at DH a bit so hoping that’s not PMS! Could also just be me getting annoyed at him haha. Sorry to hear about your redundancy but well done on finding a new job so quickly! Hope the first few days go well :)

Hi @JLP256 sorry for taking so long to come back to you! AF is due for me on 12th too how weird! I’m unsure if I’m reading into things again but I’ve had back pain on and off and I’m sure I’ve had cramping today and weird nipple tingles (😂) but I’m trying to say I’m imagining things. I’m only 6DPO so under no illusion it’s too early for anything. I’m going to hold off testing for as long as I can and see how I feel during the rest of the 2ww. I have FRER And loads of them too so I will see how long I can hold out 😂 how are you? Do you have anything going on this month that’s a little unusual?

@Jamill87 aww bless you I’m so sorry. It’s so hard isn’t it?! How are you I hope you’re okay? I guess at least AF arrived early and saved you a few days of false hope and it means your next fertility window will be here sooner but still. How you holding up?

@AKcheer when are you thinking of testing? Also how are you doing aside from been super busy with work?! I got made redundant a couple of month ago but got a new job which I start on 21st so I’m hoping now all the stress of that has gone from last cycle that this one is the one! Not holding my breath though!

@Lynne425 I have everything crossed for you! When was ovulation for you and are you planning on testing or just waiting for AF?

Hope your well, I'm glad it's the weekend that week was tough at work!
Not that I'll be doing anything as I'm in tier 4 still but good to know the laptop is closed until next week!!

I just feel I'm out as I don't feel anything lol like no changes what so ever!!

I tested this month using opks and managed to bd 3 times in the 48 hours before my peak one so have everything 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

But I'm just feeling nothing..... I know that sounds silly but I thought with AF due Tuesday I might have some crazy symptoms even if they were in my head lol

@NatMoz well I guess that’s reassuring as I reach 5 months 🤞 our time is coming

So I did the brave thing and spoke to my mum about TTC today. I asked her if she found it easy to conceive and she said 'oh yes pretty much immediately' so after 20 mins of saying how we've been trying for 6 months and we're having tests done to check we're healthy inside etc, my mum says 'oh I think it took us 6-8 months to conceive'...

So I was like WHAT? (she said immediately remember ). Turns out 6-8 months is her perception of immediately whereas for me I just assumed she meant on the first try!

@AKcheer I’m good thank you how are you?? Where are you at in your cycle. And is this your first too?

No never two peaks only the second one will result in a peak. The first time I keep getting surges from high to low with all the ovulation symptoms so for the past few months I’ve never timed it right just assumed my peak was there and gone. Then I get symptoms again so do an opk and yeah there it is a nice shiny peak!

Hi everyone. Can I join? Cycle 5 ttc my first. Got a peak on opks yesterday so almost at the tww. Seem to be having two attempts at ovulation every cycle so I’m really hoping this month is my lucky month as I’ve managed to catch my peak in good time and bd at the right time. Whereas other months I’ve timed bd based on what I thought was ovulation (ewcm high peaks) but missed bding on the second attempt. Does this happen to anyone else? 😩 or is it just my body adjusting to coming off the pill from June?

AF has arrived two days early, obviously wasn't implantation bleeding after all! This has been the hardest AF to take, think I might need a bit of a break from it all :-(

@Rose2108 me toooo! I've been working from home full time and I think we have spoiled the kitten so much that she will never be able to handle it when we go back! I did go to the doctor last month and had some bloodwork done yesterday to make sure everything is lining up okay. Im pretty nervous to get those back! I would normally consider this cycle 9 TTC, since we started trying properly in March, but she said she considered those months earlier before we were timing correctly.

I know what you mean about trying consistently. It's so hard with timing and making sure to DTD before the LH tests are positive. What a process!

Morning @AKcheer I feel a bit better than yesterday although had another bfn this morning, wasn't a frer though just cheap wilko test. Expecting AF to start any day. Was quite crampy last night again and had indigestion last two nights which I never normally get.

@Loladoodle Thanks, my only hope is that if I got implantation bleeding in Sunday it might be a few more days to have enough hormones for a positive test. I am not going to test again till Sunday if AF doesn't arrive on Saturday.
