Anyone else in the dreaded tww?
I'm currently 2DPO. Would be nice to chat to others in the same waiting game to keep us sane!

God I'm really getting f the urge now to test using a frer!!

@madeinthe80z nope not really much symptom wise other than a few cramps and pains in my lower left side xx

OP posts:
madeinthe80z · 18/11/2020 12:20

@mommyofone2019 symptoms wise I am mega symptom spotting, I would probably have had all of this anyway!! But I've had cramps, sharp pains on left and right sides, bleeding gums, nasal congestion and sore boobs (on and off)

How about you? Anything other than cramps?

madeinthe80z · 18/11/2020 12:16

@mommyofone2019 No idea unfortunately. All I know is we DTD on CD 13 and CD 16 and I had EWCM CD 12-18, which seemed really long this month?! I have a 28 day cycle and AF is due Monday. I remember when ttc our first, I usually ovulated CD17-18 but no idea whether this has changed now. Apparently it can 'reset' after giving birth and we have only been using condoms so no hormones in me.

mommyofone2019 · 18/11/2020 11:19

@madeinthe80z what dpo will you be tomorrow?
Have you been feeling any symptoms or feeling any different?

madeinthe80z · 18/11/2020 11:13

I am not gonna kid myself- I will be straight to the loo tomorrow as soon as my mate from Amazon knocks on!!

mommyofone2019 · 18/11/2020 11:08

I'm getting stomach cramps again today and still feeling a pain in my lower left side.
Why is the tww so torturous 😞

Really want to test tomorrow using a frer but I think I'm going to hold off until Friday.

@KitQ I know I know. To be honest from what I remember, it really is true what they say, you feel pretty similar to the lead up to AF. Very annoying!!

KitQ · 18/11/2020 10:56

@madeinthe80z oh gosh don’t. I’m so scared to feel hopeful. I didn’t think I’d feel anything!

madeinthe80z · 18/11/2020 10:36

Could well be a good sign @KitQ! I had cramps all through my first trimester with dd, including TWW 🤞

My boobs are hurting this morning...why can't I remember if this is normal?! Why don't I know....so annoying!!

KitQ · 18/11/2020 10:13

I had sharp stabbing pains in my right lower abdomen last night and some mild lower back cramps. Still got lower back cramps this morning (not as bad as period pain just kinda there) and the odd twinge on the right lower abdomen still. Do we think this is a good sign? Trying not to freak out.

mommyofone2019 · 18/11/2020 10:07

Was looking back on photos from when I conceived my daughter in 2018.
As I said earlier in the post I had implantation bleeding at 5dpo and did a cheapie strip test on 10DPO followed by a frer the same day.
I will post a photo of both the strip test and frer to show you the difference in the lines!
Just shows you how different the visibility of the lines are!

Tried to post a pic not sure whether it will work. They are called Baby Plan 5 pack 10mlu

Furbabymum15 · 18/11/2020 09:27

How is everybody doing? Im due AF on Monday, so did a cheapie test this morning.... BFN obviously 🙄 I've had a lot of little pinches and twinges over the past 5 days but maybe I've just not noticed them before. We DTD on ovulation day only so I'm hoping for good things.... How's everyone else?

mommyofone2019 · 18/11/2020 08:53

@madeinthe80z ah really, what tests are these?

OP posts:
madeinthe80z · 18/11/2020 08:47

@Emmie12345 I am usually very regular and will start pre AF spotting Sun night/Mon (28 day cycle).

@mommyofone2019 well I am definitely not testing until tomorrow when my tests arrive as I am out! That will be 4 days before AF due but I bought a different brand - they had good reviews. Supposedly a FRER equivalent but £10 for 5. I won't need more than that to see me through to the arrival of AF!

mommyofone2019 · 18/11/2020 08:30

Morning ladies. 9DPO for me today. Tested with a internet cheapie this morning again using fmu - bfn obviously! Really don't have much hope for the this month. But my frers arrived yesterday so I'm going to hold off unsung one until Thursday maybe Friday xx

OP posts:
Emmie12345 · 18/11/2020 08:11

@madeinthe80z I think it could be due anywhere from today till about Monday ))

How about you ?

Xx

madeinthe80z · 18/11/2020 08:02

Aw I hope not, when is AF due @Emmie12345?

Still in the game until then!

Emmie12345 · 18/11/2020 07:56

Hi all
I definitely feel a bit like my period is on the way, which means I prob ovulated when me and dp were apart grrrr I thought I felt frisky those few days !

madeinthe80z · 18/11/2020 07:52

Cramps were always a good sign for me in the past from what I remember! I have had constant cramping for the last week. So much so I have actually got some cranberry to drink because if I'm not pregnant, I think there may be something up!! Only other possible symptoms I've had is nasal congestion and bleeding gums.

mommyofone2019 · 17/11/2020 22:31

Not really had any symptoms other than what I posted the weekend about slight cramping and a pain in my lower left side. Just had the same pain again, it's like a sharp shooting/stabbing pain 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Twinkle1989 you're not going mad at all. It really is so hard ttc and can be so regimented. Sending you lots of 🤗

OP posts:
Highfalutinlootin · 17/11/2020 21:42

@Twinkle1989 Totally normal. I can relate to all you've said. We women often allow men to be blissfully unaware of the whole process and stress of planning leading up to having a child. I also waited a long time because I was a bit ambivalent about having kids, then I wanted good timing. Now I feel desperate for it to happen immediately. It's very hard.

Highfalutinlootin · 17/11/2020 21:40

@Emmie12345 Yes, I know when ovulation is through OPKs plus temping using a TempDrop armband. It takes and tracks your BBT every night so you don't have to think about it.

@Jessandra yes I feel better for testing. It definitely helps me to relax and just focus on other things. I literally have no idea how women who wait to test until AF due cope.
