@RichmondLady1981 Thank you, I am on cd10 so not much going on, might start OPKs soon. Hope your gin evening was good x

susiebluebell · 15/12/2020 11:48

@MgW1 Ah I'm so sorry this has happened. Sending love and hugs and backing you all the way through it xx

@HappyVibes Very glad you've been given the progesterone and vits! 💕

Hi everyone I thought I’d join this thread if that’s ok. I unfortunately had a miscarriage this weekend at 6 weeks - this was our first pregnancy. Both of us feel very ready for children so although we are heartbroken over this we are both keen to TTC again as soon as possible. It’s nice to be able to chat to others in the same boat. Just waiting for my negative test so we can start again x

Hopefulmummie · 15/12/2020 11:05

1-2 weeks pregnant*

Hopefulmummie · 15/12/2020 11:05

Looking some advice. Done a clear blue this morning and still coming up 1-2 pregnant nearly 2 weeks after miscarriage.
Can you get pregnant again while still having a positive result? As I think I will be ovulating this week or can you even ovulate while still have a positive pregnancy test

MgW1 · 15/12/2020 10:49

@PumpkinEverything
I am worried about fibroids. I have read more common from mid 30's . I am 37. Im gona speak to G.P to see if I can get a scan to make sure everything is clear. If not , i know I can get a scan privately xx

HappyVibes · 15/12/2020 10:47

@RichmondLady1981 sending you lots of love and empathy lovely. Be kind to yourself, enjoy the festive period and then ready to start 2021 with a fresh new perspective and optimism 💫 🤍

MgW1 · 15/12/2020 10:46

@HappyVibes
Thank you so much. I know its so common , I wished I had waited longer to test because I have read that early losses are common. Xxx

PumpkinEverything · 15/12/2020 10:46

Sorry to hear about that @MgW1 I always wondered this too, and I think from what I can gather 5 weeks or less is classed as a chemical, but as happyvibes has said, it’s still a loss and completely okay to feel sad about.

Whenever you had scans previously did they look around the surrounding area? I had a private scan at 6 weeks and they spotted a fibroid, which I then mentioned at my next scan and they didn’t say much about it, so hoping it’s not a big deal. It does make me think that they maybe look at this sort of thing so try not to get too worried about it 😊

PumpkinEverything · 15/12/2020 10:40

Thanks @HappyVibes I suppose that’s why they tell you to wait longer to test, I just thought I would check this morning. Really hoping that it’s a lot more faded or negative next week 😔 I wish my hormones would sort themselves out, my skin is a mess!

@NI101 can I ask if you started trying before getting a negative test? I wasn’t sure whether I had to wait until I got a negative first

HappyVibes · 15/12/2020 10:26

Morning @MgW1 I am so sorry to hear this, that must be very tough for you lovely. I am unsure lovely at what point it’s classed as chemical, but even if it is a chemical, a chemical is still classed as a loss, so please don’t think anything less of it. It can be very difficult experiencing more than one loss and it does make you wonder about a lot of ‘what ifs’. Try to stay positive and read lots of success stories, as there are many many many and you will soon be one of those my lovely 🤍🤍🤍

HappyVibes · 15/12/2020 10:23

@NI101 @PumpkinEverything it is hard waiting so long for a negative after the MC; it has so many emotions attached to it waiting for that negative, so it is hard that it can take so long for it to come. Please don’t worry that it takes so long - although physically everything has passed, it takes a while for the hormones to pass. It’s a really difficult time and I know that there’s not much reassurance in anything. However, please be reassured that it’s certainly not unusual for it to take so long to reduce and to get a negative. 🤍🤍🤍

MgW1 · 15/12/2020 10:21

Just to let you ladies know , my pregnancy ended in a loss 1 week following a positive test. Do you know if its classed as a chemical at this stage? I am disappointed but we shall try again. I have had 2 know 14 weeks & 5 weeks and worried I have fibroids or something courtesy of google!! I dont think doc will refer me for a scan until I have had 3 mc's but found somewhere privately that does a well woman scan , il see how I get on. Hope your all ok xxx

PumpkinEverything · 15/12/2020 09:22

Just did a test, a week on from having surgical management and it’s still very positive 😔 the line came up straight away when I was hoping it would at least be a faded one, but no. Definitely no point testing again for at least another week going by how dark the line is 😩

Mumsdaily · 15/12/2020 07:39

Thanks everyone!!!

I still really want to see a dark line. I'll be testing tomorrow and the next day and the next....then I'll probably remortgage the house for eve more FRER's!! 🙈😂

I think it's going to be hard to feel excited. After an MC I think it's tainted with a bit of worry!

I'm a little gobsmacked it's happened again so soon! I didn't really expect it. X

SS123456 · 15/12/2020 07:10

Congratulations @Mumsdaily ! 😁. I am 11dpo today and my 9dpo frer was similar to yours 🤞🏻

I can definitely see a line @Mumsdaily!

RichmondLady1981 · 15/12/2020 07:09

@Mumsdaily amazing news. Huge congratulations

Ahhh thanks ladies but AF showed last night.

Have had loads of blood work done this month and have my appointment with the specialist on Friday; so I’m glad that’s coming. I know she’ll give me some hope. We are going away to a lovely place by the sea for over new year which falls on my FW so that’s a nice coincidence. Hopefully we will relax more whilst there and not at work.

Will be keeping an eye on the thread over rather next two weeks. Good luck everyone. 💋

J785948 · 15/12/2020 07:01

@Mumsdaily - that is deffo deffo a line. Many congrats - really pleased for you!

I am now 10/11 DPO today - but too scared to test.

Have had cramps since Sunday, which are a little early for AF due on Friday (but perhaps a short LP phase as hormones sort themselves out) and a hot flush on Sunday which I get when P - but boobs don't hurt like they normally do. So I think it unlikely for me - temps are still high though so we will see!

Xx

I couldn't sleep!! 🙈🙈 got up early and did another test. It's definitely a little darker yesterday's line. I'm still only 8/9dpo, so going to test every day to see what happens. Just hoping this goes the way we want. Don't feel comfortable getting excited just yet.

Hopefully we get a strong line and make it all the way 🤷‍♀️

Pic attached.

So sorry @RichmondLady1981 it's never a nice feeling and down right painful. A gin and a hug sound just 👍.

NI101 · 14/12/2020 20:27

Hi ladies.
I’ve just had a BFN after my MMC its taken about 2.5 weeks to get here. I was certain I had passed the tissue when I did, so this test was just a formality.

On the other hand... I feel like I am already pregnant only because of my symptoms. I know I’m hopeful and so could just be overthinking, but if I am right, this would be my third pregnancy (unfortunately no children). AF is supposedly due just before xmas, but I dont plan on doing a pregnancy test until the new year and thats if AF doesn’t arrive.

My dreaded TWW is more like 4WW!

Has anyone else felt like this before?

Bellabubble · 14/12/2020 17:32

@RichmondLady1981 sorry to read about your bfn - it’s never a great feeling :( Be kind to yourself - and enjoy your gin!! I could do with a couple myself..I definitely did not have my ducks all in a row at school today - they were flying about all over the place! I swear they’d all had sugar for breakfast!

Wishingfornumber2 · 14/12/2020 17:24

@RichmondLady1981 sorry to hear you had a BFN. It’s so disheartening. But fingers crossed for you that maybe it is just too early. X
@susiebluebell hope this cycle is a lot shorter for you if AF does appear but hopefully not for a good reason 🤞x
