Hi ladies

Furbsies · 20/11/2020 11:49

@msg92 I am so sorry. This is all so difficult, I really hope you and your family are taking care of yourselves.

This time if they find a polyp they can measure it with confidence and actually decide what to do. Past 4 scans have been "yes there's a polyp. It's likely to be a polyp, it looks like not that big but we can't be sure until you have the scan on day 7 to 10. And then promptly sending me another scan to confirm also at the wrong time in my cycle... I would call them up and they'd say there's nothing in your notes to say day 7 to 10, so just come in. This time I refused to go in and said I won't be wasting NHS money anymore. I need to be brought in at the correct time. They are checking for the polyp and cyst. If either has gone down in size they won't do anything, if they're bigger then I think they said they'll remove the polyp. Unsure about the cyst though..

Apparently polyps haven't been directly linked with fertility or MCs but for women going for IVF some studies have shown polyp removal results in better outcomes..

Hey @Furbsies stomach is a little better now, still odd but better. Just trying to organise funeral, death certificates, wills etc it's endless! That's good news, hopefully the timing is right, what happens after that?

Furbsies · 20/11/2020 10:13

@msg92 how are you doing now?
I'm just finished with AF so have a scan particularly to check for the polyp they saw 6 months ago.. They kept giving me appointments at the wrong time and couldn't fully visualise it. So hoping that is gone even if the cyst is still there for now.

But new cycle. New effort. How are you doing.
@notalwaysalondoner congrats. That is exciting news!!!

Runnergirl1 · 20/11/2020 09:23

@notalwaysalondoner congratulations. Everything crossed for you x

MSG92 · 20/11/2020 09:10

@notalwaysalondoner aaaah fantastic news!! Congratulations and I hope it sticks.

notalwaysalondoner · 20/11/2020 08:49

@Ra1nb0w85 I took an OPK very soon after my chemical pregnancy when I was still having positive pregnancy tests and got a solid smiley, so it definitely throws them off. Sounds hopeful.

I didn’t manage to hold out on testing until tomorrow but I got my BFP! Trying not to get my hopes up too much though as after two miscarriages I don’t want to get emotionally over invested too early. I’ve asked the private doctor we saw for fertility checks for progesterone as a precaution so hopefully she’ll prescribe that ASAP. Fingers crossed this one sticks!!

MSG92 · 20/11/2020 08:06

Morning all
@susiebluebell thanks, hard not being able to say goodbye that's all.
Its still not right, it hurt all evening until I went to bed, it's not as painful this morning but still weird. I'll just have to take no bleeding as it being OK I suppose... Was going to book an early scan for around the 9 week mark but maybe I'll do it sooner now.

Hope everyone has a great day! Good luck anyway in the FW, DTD!!! Haha. We haven't for about 2 weeks due to the positive covid test and sleeping separately whilst he's got it, and I must say, it's a welcome break!

susiebluebell · 20/11/2020 07:37

Morning all.

@MSG92 I'm sorry your DH's nana passed away 💕 How is your tum today?

Ra1nb0w85 · 19/11/2020 21:18

@MSG92 I thought I read it on here, never heard of it before but crossing my fingers I have the outcome you did.
Sorry to hear you are having a tough time :( Easier said than done I know but try and stay positive - think happy thoughts as I'm sure that little bubba is just testing you X

Runnergirl1 · 19/11/2020 20:58

@MSG92 so sorry for what your going through atm x

MSG92 · 19/11/2020 20:28

Hey @susiebluebell fingers crossed for you!!!

@Ra1nb0w85 I did! I used my cheapie ones and got a really strong line so I used a pregnancy test. Mine looked like a peak ovulation.

I am STILL having stomach pains, this is almost 24hrs of constant stomach pain, so fed up now, And DH's 98yr old nana died a couple hours ago, we didn't get to say goodbye... Poo!!

Ra1nb0w85 · 19/11/2020 19:45

Hi ladies.
I wondered if any of you had ever tested with an OPK during your TWW? I'm sure I remember reading it on here so I gave it a try. 9DPO today and I have a flashing face. What does this mean, any ideas? X

susiebluebell · 19/11/2020 17:43

@notalwaysalondoner It's absurd, isn't it? The thought of breezing through it unawares. I thought that would be me actually, as I generally don't have health problems and little medical history. I know miscarriage is 'normal' and not necessarily a medical problem, but I naively thought it would never happen to me.

@SS123456 Hope is the strongest thing in the world! ♥

notalwaysalondoner · 19/11/2020 17:21

Hi all, I've had two miscarriages this year, started TTC in October 2019. Had a 10 week missed miscarriage in June, followed by a very early one at 4+5 in September. AF is now 3 days late based on ovulation, and I'm trying to be strong and not test until CD31 which is the latest I've ever had AF. Two more days to go... I'm scared about getting my hopes up after the difficult year we've had, plus my boobs are not sore like they were the first time, but also feel a bit hopeful. I'm so jealous women who have never had a miscarriage get to just enjoy their pregnancies and not constantly feel worried.

SS123456 · 19/11/2020 16:35

Thank you @susiebluebell 😊. I knew I would take this month hard and getting a bfp straight away I felt would some how 'fix' things. We can live in hope 🤞🏻😊

susiebluebell · 19/11/2020 16:28

@MSG92 Me, I'm nearly at the end of my tww! AF due on Sunday. Been very bloated and constipated all week but other than that, no clues either way. Firmly not allowing myself any excitement, which is a bit sad that it has to be that way, but I need to protect my heart.

@SS123456 Hugs, and do test again in a few days if you can bear it. Just to make sure. I was sooo hopeful first month after MC as well, and took it harder than I'd expected when I didn't fall pg straight away. That was my silver lining I was hoping for - but it didn't happen for us. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best 😊❤️

SS123456 · 19/11/2020 15:16

Fertile not fertility!

SS123456 · 19/11/2020 15:15

@MSG92 keep us posted! If you haven't had any spotting or bleeding I would say that all is ok 🤞🏻😊

I'm 13dpo (AF due today) but got a bfn on a frer this morning 😔. It's my first cycle after mc and had my hopes up that I'd be extra fertility some how so feeling quite deflated. We have been ttc for 14 months and last months bfp was the only one we'd had which I mc'd at 5 weeks

MSG92 · 19/11/2020 15:03

@griff2019 aaah that's amazing!!!! @ 6 weeks that's so cool!!!

griff2019 · 19/11/2020 15:00

@MSG92 was just scrolling down and came across your comment I did go for abdominal in the end.

MSG92 · 19/11/2020 14:55

Thanks @griff2019

Good luck @anon0704!!!

Well, I still have stomach pains, they've not really changed since about 10pm last night... I'm very nervous.

Is anyone testing soon or nearly at the end of TWW? Some good news would be great.

anon0704 · 19/11/2020 12:39

I'm on CD7, starting the SMEP this month :-) So excited. Wishing everyone lots of baby dust.

griff2019 · 19/11/2020 12:23
