@susiebluebell!
It certainly sounds positive Smile
When did you have your miscarrIage?
You know its funny because I spent months squinting at tests looking for a line and when I finally got pregnant the line came up straight away with no question.
I am now wishing for a line to disappear so I can start trying again!!

HappyVibes · 29/11/2020 09:57

@MamaPheebz ooh 1DPO yay to a TWW buddy. I’m 4DPO today.

In regards to testing, I try not to test until AF due date or maybe 1-2days before if I get a feeling. We’ve done them before where we literally count down to the earliest date we can test with an FRER...but we’ve learnt that this just prolongs confusion and heartache for us. So we now do it as close to AF...there’s absolutely no way I could wait until so long after AF @susiebluebell I’m seriously impressed. Like that is some mega self control I just can’t even think how much that must have been. And now you’ve waited, and still waiting longer. I’m in awe at how cool you are about it ha. Xxx

susiebluebell · 29/11/2020 09:34

Thanks @MamaPheebz I'm OK now though! We're just waiting for the shops to open and we'll get a test - didn't have any at home 🙄

I mean a lot of tests claim to be sensitive enough for a week before your expected period. I'm not convinced, and the accuracy does go up the longer you wait. I've seen tooo many people on here be confused or heartbroken by testing too early. Myself, I wouldn't test until AF was overdue, but I know I've left it very late this time (AF a week overdue) because it's the first time since MC that I've felt there was a real likelihood of a BFP.

MamaPheebz · 28/11/2020 23:45

That sounds so painful @susiebluebell i hope you are ok!
When are you testing?
Do you all wait until you are due AF to test? I’ll be 1dpo tomorrow. I tested really early last month and all the negative tests really got to me. I need to find a way of keeping my mind healthy this time. X

susiebluebell · 28/11/2020 22:04

Thank you @leftitlate37 and @familybythesea 😭 I know the baby (potential baby...) is only a few cells big so it wouldn't be directly bumped by the fall, but I was worried something could be ruptured or or dislodged.. Unscientific but that's what I was worried about. I feel OK now, but I'm still imagining I feel blood 🙄

@leftitlate37 Yes who knows indeed - it can be so frustrating when you're not sure what your cycle is doing! Hoping it straightens out for you x

familybythesea · 28/11/2020 19:02

@susiebluebell you poor thing!! I hope you’re ok and not too bruised. I honestly think because the embryo would just be a few cells at this point and would have already implanted if you’re around 18dpo nothing would be affected - I’m not just saying that to make you feel better. Hope you’re ok and the testing goes well tomorrow xx

leftitlate37 · 28/11/2020 18:41

Thanks everyone for nice welcome! and congrats @MSG92 on your BFP :) and so quickly after a MC too, best of luck for everything going well this time :)
Awww ouch @susiebluebell hope you're ok, sounds painful. Definitely think you'll be ok at this stage, but can imagine u being worried.
i'm still waiting for first AF after our miscrriage, had cramps mid week but theyve gone now and no sign of AF so goodness knows whats going on, dont usually get cramps beforehand but guess anything and everything will happen this time as it'll be a bit messed up!
hope everyone else is doing ok!

susiebluebell · 28/11/2020 15:59

Afternoon ladies, I just slipped and fell on some mossy wooden steps and banged my tailbone and middle back, and I'm worried it's going to affect the possible baby! 😫 I'm fine, was winded and in pain for a few minutes and might have a bruise. I've been reading about falla and slips in early pregnancy and the consensus seems to be that the baby is really well protected inside the pelvic bones at the moment and there's nothing to worry about unless you yourself are seriously injured. Which I'm not. But if this turns into a chemical or another miscarriage, I'm going to be devastated and blame it on this! 😔 Any words of sanity or similar experiences? Xx

familybythesea · 28/11/2020 13:10

Thank you @HappyVibes and @susiebluebell - I’d say it’s a bit heavier than spotting now, and only a day early so perhaps it was either implantation gone wrong (I had a bit of brown spotting and dizzy/sick yesterday but redder today). Bit disappointed as it’s coming round to a year since conceiving for my first miscarriage and I had another miscarriage last month, plus two chemical pregnancies, so getting a bit worn out from it al!
But still, I’ll try jump on the positivity saddle too :)
Thanks ladies xx

susiebluebell · 28/11/2020 12:10

@familybythesea Yes 9dpo is far too early for an accurate test! At that stage it's more likely to be implantation spotting than AF, though of course you know your body best 😚😚 Fingers, toes and legs crossed! Xx

susiebluebell · 28/11/2020 12:06

Thanks everyone, I'm very hopeful too, but it's not self-control that's kept me from testing, it's fear haha!

We are testing tomorrow morning when OH is here - he works away part of the week. Hope everybody's having an OK start to the weekend? Xx

HappyVibes · 28/11/2020 11:13

@familybythesea if it is implantation, then it would be way to early for an FRER to pick it up anyway lovely - so ignore the test for now, as even at 9DPO, it’s still very early too and very low chances of being picked up so early. So I don’t think you’re fully out just yet lovely. Unless you’re confident it’s full flow AF?

I’m doing okay thank you doll. Had my whimper and my woe is me moment at the beginning of the cycle when we had the CP. But now got back on my positivity saddle and galloping along ha. I’m just in a phase where I’m feeling a bit numb to it all, so very much of the thinking now that it’ll be when it’ll be. Rather than being convinced etc...sure that’ll change at diff points of my cycle ha. Xxxx

familybythesea · 28/11/2020 10:51

@HappyVibes also how are you doing after last month lovely? I think I convinced myself I’d be extra fertile this month because that’s what they say - but then it hasn’t been the case before so goodness knows why I keep believing that!

familybythesea · 28/11/2020 10:39

@HappyVibes I guess it’s not impossible, but I caved and did a FRER (after promising myself I wouldn’t test until Monday at the earliest!) and it was negative. I never learn!

Furbsies · 28/11/2020 09:33

@HappyVibes and @susiebluebell thank you ladies

@susiebluebell so excited for you test. I would not be able to wait for OH till 18dpo.

HappyVibes · 28/11/2020 09:07

Aww @familybythesea could the spotting perhaps be implantation? Xxx

familybythesea · 28/11/2020 08:47

Just catching up on the thread, wow a lot has happened!
Congrats to everyone who got a bfp.

@susiebluebell good luck with the testing today - it sounds very positive! Fingers crossed for you!

I’m 9dpo today but started spotting this morning - I felt really dizzy and sick yesterday and got my hopes up, but for nothing!

HappyVibes · 28/11/2020 08:41

Ah @susiebluebell everything about your message sounds very very very hopeful. I would be getting so excited if I was you at this stage. I am very impressed by your self control of not testing, that’s so good! Fingers crossed, good luck...I feel like we already know it’s going to be a BFP! Woohoo...keep us updated please 💓💓💓

Pugprincess · 28/11/2020 02:21

@susiebluebell oooo so you are really late now then?! Get testing lol 😆. With you on the waking up. I’m up now having just cleaned/tidied/put dishwasher and washing machine on 😅 (washing machine in conservatory away from neighbours so won’t bother anybody) xx

susiebluebell · 28/11/2020 00:27

I was lying here thinking that 13dpo didn't sound right, so I went back on my Clue app and looked back through my tracking - and it turns out I tracked ovulation on Nov 9th, putting me at 18dpo! 😱 So I suppose that must be a flaw in how Clue operates... In that as your cycle drags on, it keeps readjusting estimated ovulation day, even when you've tracked it! Got to keep an eye out for that! Xx

susiebluebell · 28/11/2020 00:02

Well I've kept my promise to my OH and not tested till now - we are doing it together on the weekend. But with no AF at 13dpo, near-constant constipation, and I've started waking up for no reason at 4am - my mind has somehow gone 'yep, you're pregnant' and that's how I'm thinking of myself, even though I haven't had it confirmed with a test. It was the waking up at 4 that did it, because that happened with my previous pregnancy and is totally unheard of for me. So, daring to hope, and hoping it's not in vain?

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend! X

susiebluebell · 27/11/2020 23:56

@Furbsies I'm sure it's as @HappyVibes says and your cycle is adjusting. Frustrating isn't it! Mine has fluctuated by several days since mc, but keeping an eye on cm really helped clue me in to what was happening when. Xx

HappyVibes · 27/11/2020 23:00

Ah it is hard isn’t it trying to familiarise ourselves with changes in cycles post MC. The main thing is, that you have identified and not missed the peak - bet you are so relieved that you’ve been tracking wary on. Girl you know what to do. Good luck 💓💫

Furbsies · 27/11/2020 20:39

@HappyVibes this is my 5th cycle, but it has been 6 months, in the cycle i got pg, i wasnt opking but i was tracking via app, i would have ovulated on cd21

i think i am just getting frustrated by the difference in each cycle now.

HappyVibes · 27/11/2020 20:29

Hey @Furbsies perhaps it’s still your cycles getting back into sync? How many cycles are you post MC again (sorry, I get so confused with everyone’s all merging). Xx
