TTC - sex every day / other day

Hi!
Just wanted to see if other people think DTD every other day rather than every day is better?
I’ve been doing every day around my fertile days for months but now wondering if I should try every other day?

I conceived quickly twice doing it every other day or every couple of days, throughout the month. The theory then is no matter when you ovulate, there should always be some swimmers waiting!

Yes it’s worth a shot I’ll try anything 😂🙈
I’ve just looked up SMEP and I’m going to give that a try this month too.

Currently I’m using Clearblue ovulation sticks, taking proceive max and preseed lube

I read every other day was better as gave time for the number and quality of sperm to increase. We tried for 6 months trying every other day in fertile period. Month 7 we only tried twice in fertile period and i'm pregnant!

Thanks for your feedback, I just wondered maybe this month I should try every other as I’ve tried every day during the fertile window since March with no luck.

We did every other day for the duration of the month (more or less). It worked when TTC #1 so we did it again for #2 and it worked just as quickly then also. Good luck!

The cycle I conceived, we did it every day and sometimes twice a day for the four days before ovulation and 2 days after. My husbands speak quality is good though. It depends on that.

I think it can depend on sperm quality. The nhs recommend ever other day. The cycle i conceived we followed the smep which is kind of a combination of both! Sadly ended in ruptured ectopic so I'm back to smep!
