MMC in May after TTC for 2 years and no luck since. Decided to give up tracking this month and didn't even reorder supplements because I've been extremely down about it all and every month is devastating. Last month I had a short luteal phase of 8 days when I'm normally around 15 and my whole cycle is usually between 32-35, ovulating around CD19-22. So I've not been tracking but still doing my temps every morning. FF is saying I've ovulated already (BBT attached) which is early for me. Yesterday temp dipped, I had a few cramps in the afternoon and some spotting by last night. Today I've had more spotting this evening. Yesterday was tiny red tinges when I wiped, today is more brownish and more on the tissue when I wipe than yesterday but not enough to need a pad. So I decided to take an OPK and it was positive.. What do we think? AF arriving meaning a really short luteal phase again or FF is wrong and this is ovulation bleeding? I don't normally spot before AF or with ovulation and it seems odd to be having ovulation bleeding days before ovulation would actually be happening? Ready to just rip out my ovaries at this point as it becomes increasingly closer to my due date 😔

@galatea098 I finally ovulated last Thursday so 6DPO now. I guess my little breakdown was heavy induced PMS 😂 I've calmed down now. Will ring and book my test when AF shows. Glad to be moving forward! Best of luck with your new cycle! It always seems like a chore to get started and then we become utterly drawn in and obsessed lol

If my temps weren't so low I'd actually take a pregnancy test especially since my last period came at 8DPO which is early for me, usually my LP is 15/16. Absolutely hate all this. I'm in work feeling so emotional and exhausted.

@galatea098 we focused our energy on home decorating last lockdown too! So glad we did because we'd be putting it off for about a year haha. Yeah, I'm still in complete limbo. Was certain I'd see a big rise this morning because I feel dreadful, lower back ache and a pain low in my tummy to the right especially when I bend and lots of ewcm. But alas, still nothing!

Thoughts please? 😣

@stabal that makes sense and I’m so sorry it’s coming up to that time. 2021 surely has to be better. I feel like all of us with get there eventually. I just wish it would hurry up.

Stabal · 03/11/2020 13:07

@galatea098 between 30 and 35 they recommend you contact your GP after a year of trying but it can also take the average person up to 2 years to fall pregnant, so even for a 'normal' reproductive system it all comes down to luck in the end! Just keep going with what you're doing and know there's the option of investigating in a few months if needs be but fingers crossed you won't need it 💕

@Overlyanxious I definitely think I'm just stressing myself out. My due date would have been the start of December and I had visions of being pregnant again by then. I have EWCM again yesterday and today and low back pain and my temp dipped to 35.96 so maybe today is finally the day 🙄

@stabal - that’s so annoying. I hate when my body decides to do something different.

@galatea098 I know what you mean. I go between being really positive and then thinking it will never happen. I’m having tests done - but I’m 37 and I think my Dr thinks it’s best to check now in case there are issues. Perhaps if you get to a year of the tracking and no baby then you should have some tests. There are various things on the internet as well about what your BBT can tell you - so as I said earlier if your BBT isn’t high enough after ovulation it can mean low progesterone. Low temperatures (I can’t remember how low - possibly around 35 ish degrees) can indicate thyroid problems. So if you haven’t got those issues that’s a couple of things you can rule out.

@Overlyanxious I have done last year every month for 6 months. Just this cycle it seems I'm going to ovulate late or not at all

Overlyanxious · 03/11/2020 08:56

@Stabal have you had a progesterone test? I’ve been obsessing about my temperature rises and I was reading that if your temperature doesn’t get to 37 degrees or close to it after ovulation it could mean you have low progesterone.

Stabal · 02/11/2020 21:34

@galatea098 aww thank you! Some days I don't feel so strong and want to give in. Really struggling to hold it together these past 2 cycles but I think that's my own fault for putting pressure on myself to be pregnant again by the time my due date comes along to lessen the blow. How long have you been trying?

@galatea098 so my story is a bit different because I'm overweight. I initially mentioned it about 4 years ago to my GP but they brushed it off and gynaecology fobbed me off with pills and mirena coil for my pain over anything I mentioned to do with conception (I have pcos and endo). January 2018 I'd had enough of putting hormones in my body to pacify my pain etc and told myself I'd have to suck it up if I ever want to become a mum. GP referred me to gynae again but warned me they wouldn't do anything and sure enough my gynaecologist said they couldn't offer me any help. I lost 4 stone between March 2019 and August 2019 and GP was confident they'd see me now. My periods were irregular until July 2019 and by October I was ovulating again, GP had done bloods every month until this point. Seen a consultant in November who done some more tests and then referred me for an HSG and I just had to phone radiology when I got my next period to arrange an appointment for it. But my dad passed away in October so my mind was all over the place and didn't contact them then and decided in February I'd ring on my next period to get it done but that period never came as I'd fallen pregnant. February 2020 was the 2 year TTC mark for me so all in all 25 months of trying before I managed to conceive! I wish I had a more positive story for you but mine is definitely not the norm, I have pcos and endo against me. From the age of 18 when I was diagnosed with PCOS they told me there was 95% I'd never get pregnant.. But I managed it and hopefully I'll manage it again 🤞

@galatea098 gah! So sorry. It's good to have the attitude of seeing a positive to the situation though. Onwards and upwards 🤞
Nothing to report here, still no rise. I feel like I'm in my luteal phase though. Feeling rough, headachy, nauseous, all things I usually get PMS wise so I'm losing the plot thinking if my BBT is wrong or the thermometer batteries are low etc 😂

Hiya @galatea098 sorry, I never got a notification for your reply for some reason! Yes the spotting and cramps stopped so all in all 3 days of some spotting upon wiping with some cramps but no indication of ovulation. Your chart looked promising though, did it stay raised?
Yesterday I got a letter for my HSG so I'm not too bothered now this cycle, I'm happy to be moving in the right direction for some possible answers! I was waiting for AF end of Feb/March to get my HSG then but fell pregnant and I was told after my miscarriage I'd have to wait until a year after falling pregnant before investigating started again so really chuffed that doesn't seem to be the case 🤞

Thoughts please? 😣
