OPK peak??

I can’t tell if I have peaked and missed it, or if I am yet to peak.

I was at 40% high one evening...but then back to low levels and fluctuating slightly since then. Back to 0% now. See picture

Could I have peaked overnight and missed it? Is that even possible? Are my LH levels just fluctuating as they go down? if I’m now at 0% does that mean The peak has passed?

Last few cycles testing I got very clear peaks 100-200%. So I am very confused by all this! We have been DTD every two days in case 😅😅😅

Can anyone shed on light on what might be happening? So confused 🤪

@Bouncytree sorry to hear it's arrived for you too! I definitely think it helps, I haven't even bought any ovulation sticks yet either so might just go back to the old fashioned DTD every other day & hope for the best 🤦🏼‍♀️ I need to remember it's only the 4th AF since trying, for some reason it's feels like the 45th!

I'm due to ovulate on Boxing Day!! So my partners happy he will get some attention 😂

@Rachel93x boo for AF! Yes mine arrived say too, but really tried not to get my hopes up this month and it did help.

Yes onto the next cycle! Lol I will be in the TWW over Xmas but I’ve decided to stay off booze at the moment anyway.

Anyone taking a break fir Xmas?

@Bouncytree well, AF has arrived today - 12DPO so I knew if it was out it would start vvvv light today which is the case...Onto the next cycle I go! How are you doing?

Yes another bfn this morning, and AF has arrived. But I kinda knew, I had the same ‘symptoms‘ as last month. I’m just relieveD seem to be getting less strong and AF Turned up on time...I was starting to worry my cycle had changed after AF and that was flipping me out.

I did quite well not getting my hopes up this month, after last month those symptoms And late period making me very Crazy! So I’m doing ok.

I’ve started taking ubiquinol so I’m almost happy to give it a couple of months to work before we hit the BFP.

@Bouncytree oh no, I'm sorry you've had a BFN! Has AF arrived yet? 10DPO and obviously couldn't hold off testing & of course, BFN 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Char899 I can only hope 🙊 although BFN today! Probably won't test again unless AF doesn't arrive!

@evenmoreforthemoor late ovulation doesn't always mean a short luteal phase, other than this month I always ovulate CD21 & still have 14 days between ovulation and AF arriving 🙌🏼

Just as an aside, late ovulation means a short 'luteal phase' (the time between ovulation and next period) which can cause problems with getting pregnant as progesterone is usually low. If your time from ovulation to period is less than 10 days, you need to talk to your doctor.

Hello everyone!

Wondering if I can join and ask a silly question about OPK’S.

I’ve just started with the easy@home tests, logging via the Premom app. Was CD10 yesterday after a long period and just started testing yesterday after AF finishing on Tuesday. My LH today is lower than it was yesterday? I thought it was supposed to increase? This has worried me!

Can anyone help? Sorry if I’m being silly but any advice would be appreciated xx

It is normal for LH to fluctuate. Please keep testing to look for your LH peak. Also, your easy@home tests should be uploaded to the easy@home tab, not the premom tab. The premom tab is only for the Premom quantitative tests.

Welcome @WicketBasket! Your lines will get strong soon but it’s easy to panic they won’t When you first start testing.

Of course I tested! And BFN...I’m thinking it’s AF now

@Rachel93x I agree with @Char899 no AF symptoms....is potential good news 😆

Aww thanks @Rachel93x! I see what you mean, your chart is really helpful Smile You’ve got lovely strong lines on there too! I’m still getting my head around all of this so slightly panicked Grin when I saw things getting lighter not darker! Do you think it’s better to test twice a day, rather than once?

You’re like me, 35day cycles! Let’s see how we get on Flowers xx

@WicketBasket Hello! It's certainly not a silly question, we've all been confused and frustrated by it as well!

Between now and your peak you'll have it go up and down, so it's perfectly normally and nothing to worry about 😀

Here's a photo of mine last month and it was very up and down, my peak wasn't until CD21 (although I thought CD15 was!) as I have 35 day cycles! Xx

@Bouncytree I’m not going to encourage you but I did get a clear line on a 25miu ic at 13dpo...

I’m not saying you should test though...

@Char899 I'm 8DPO & I have ZERO symptoms?! Like, not even my standard PMS sore boobs & cramps! So looks like I'll be out this month! How are you feeling?

@Bouncytree It's a hard one, because let's face it with covid going on it's likely to be a few months, maybe even 6 months before the referral! No symptoms, but 3 relatives under 50 have had it & passed away so it's just precaution. Maybe there's not harm in TTC until I get the appointment letter and if were are luckily enough to get a BFP then can decide about the appointment or delaying it!

I also normally get allll those symptoms before PMS too, only since TTC & even had them the month I got the BFP so definitely could be a positive, I have my fingers crossed for you! Also, well done for not testing yet and being 13DPO, that's pretty good going..I think I might cave this month and test at 10DPO!

@Char899 thanks for thinking of us 🥰 how are you feeling? It always feels a bit edgey till that scan and then hopefully you can relax.

Hmm @Rachel93x how are you doing? yes I see the dilemma. If it’s just precautionary And you don’t have another other symptoms maybe you don’t need to worry about bad news? But if you think it’s going to stress you out, by all means wait, you are young and have plenty of time. I suppose how long it will take to get referred might be a factor for you also.

@gln1989 sorry to hear about bfn and the stress of waiting. It is a killer isn’t it! Same thing every month, so hard to take your mind off it. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞 really hope it’s your month

13 dpo here today. Have had cramps and one bout of nausea...but I had that last month so I think it might be AF on the way....at least I know I wasn’t crazy last month and imaging symptoms, it looks like this is how my PMS is after the MC. Though of course I am secretly hoping it is implantation cramping. I really wanted to test yesterday but couldn’t get my hands on an early test...also don’t want to kick in the guts BFN. AF tomorrow or Sat....here’s hoping!

I am currently 9dpo did the deed every other day during fertile window but day before and day of ovulation.

The wait is killing me so i took a test this morning but got a bfn so i am going to test again on Saturday which would be 12dpo but i am so nervous that i might just wait until af due on tuesday.

Eek fingers crossed! When we got pregnant last time, my friend is a private scanner and offered us one at 7 weeks as that's when there's normally a heartbeat, of course didn't work out but 8 weeks will be a lovely time and the best Christmas present for you all 🥰

Also need some advice...
So my dr just called and said I've been called for a colonoscopy after family history, I've been asking for one for the last 2 years since I turned 25 and have always been refused. So now that I've be called, I'm not sure if we hold off on the TTC so I can have that done - I know it's safe when pregnant but it's just more for myself feeling more positive about it being done with the results etc! Imagine being pregnant and getting bad news about the big C word 😬 undecided now!!

I’m all good thank you. Booked a private scan for 19th December so hopefully we can catch a glimpse of the little bean before Xmas! I’m feeling pretty anxious. I remember I was with ds too. You go from worrying about getting a bfp to then worrying about everything afterwards 🤦🏼‍♀️
