I'm at my wits end. Is it really possible to have negative results but still be pregnant

My period was due 1st October, except for a small amount of spotting, there hasn't been anything.

My symptoms all mirror early pregnancy symptoms;

Boob changes - constant erect nipples, nodules appearing all over, darker and larger areolas, prominent veins.

Nausea - daily, worse in the mornings and evenings

Frequent urination - ALL. DAY. LONG

Tiredness - usually go to bed at 11pm, I'm falling asleep on the sofa at 7.30pm

Food aversions - Certain foods make me feel sick, some foods (potatoes) I cannot get enough off

Lower back ache & hip ache

Jaw ache - one sided, feels like it's in my cheekbone, giving me headaches

Increased heart rate - I wear a fitbit and my RHR has gone from 68 to 79 in the last 1.5 weeks

However, all my pregnancy test results have been NEGATIVE (last test was two days ago)

I feel different, I know my body, something is going on. I have a doctors appointment at the end of this week but if calculations are correct I should be 6/7 weeks. Is it really possible to have negative results but still be pregnant?

Is it possible you ovulated when you had that tiny bit of spotting? Post ovulation hormones can cause all sorts and RHR often goes up shortly after ovulation as well.

Do you want to be pregnant? What we think matters a lot to our interpretation of physical symptoms.

Op many of these symptoms are not pregnancy related and you could have something else going on.

Thanks everyone - the frustration is my doctors seem to only want to offer a telephone appointment, they are not interested in taking a blood test. I've had 2 calls with one more at the end of this week, I just want to know!

I had many negative tests between 4 to 6 weeks and only got a positive at 6.5 weeks. Baby is now a teenager.

In rare cases but most would get a least a faint line, perhaps your doctor could do a blood test.

Yep I did 11 tests- all negative. I have a beautiful 16 yo beside me. I wasn’t producing enough of the hormone to test positive apparently. Your doctor should be able to help, get them to do a physical examination of your stomach, that’s how my doctor confirmed it.
