2DPO - Anyone with me....!

@EllyNC when I used ovulation sticks, I used to test twice a day. Sometimes morning and evening or afternoon and evening.
I found I could pinpoint the LH rise in the evening times but it would stay positive right through until the next morning so it gave me a better opportunity to DTD around the surge!
I stocked up on lots of ovulation sticks from amazon.. because I went through a lot! x

What time Of day do you guys do LH sticks? AF only just finished so I’m testing once a day (I know it’s early but just want to be consistent so I can see when it rises) and just wondering if morning or afternoon is better??

@Cc7750 yes it was but I changed it, not sure why there are issues with tagging but dw both are me haha! Agree this weather is shite And really adds to fatigue, and most of us can’t even meet people indoors can we ☹️ Here’s to a better 2021 with lots of dragon slayer babies 😁

@EllyNC I think it’s the weather and being at home too much, it’s wiping people out. I am either up at the crack of dawn or don’t want to get up at all! Also if I tag you, there is another tag with 291 at the end, is this you as well as it always wants me to put that tag in?

@HerringGull Not actually sure re. Preseed if it’s a ‘replacement’ or a ‘helper’ but it seems to work for lots of people!! Worth a shot! Though it isn’t cheap!!
Anyone else exhausted currently?! I don’t know if it’s that this period has really taken it out of me or what but I feel totally wiped!!!

@HerringGull I'm doing SMEP so I need to DTD for three days starting today but I'll be self-inseminating today after yesterday's biopsy.
I'm not sure. I usually make a lot of EWCM mostly near my cervix - never on my underwear so I'm just using some as it probably wouldn't hurt to try 🤷‍♀️

@unCliche great! So one last night of fun for you, and then onto the TWW... hehe
So is pre-seed actually better than EWCM then, or is it just doing the same thing? Like if you already have plenty of really 'good' EWCM, will it actually do anything for you or would it be a waste of time do you think?

@HerringGull I just got my positive OPK straight after I wrote that, hehe @Pudding01 was right, I'll be ovulating tomorrow. I agree, I wish it was earlier too but better late than never 😂 Also, HerringGull, pre-seed has apparently helped a lot of women conceive. I bought my first pack this cycle.

@Aila1994 I am really sorry. I don’t really understand levels but what do you need to do next, continuing to monitor?

@HerringGull Preseed is a swimmer friendly lube that you put in before sexy time.

TMI for me too, but I did become wetter around ovulation but didn't really notice any EWCF, so thought I would give it a boost!

@unCliche I think we can ovulate up to CD16, although mine was CD17 last month with only 11 days before AF. Rather it was earlier so we can just crack on 🤣

@unCliche maybe you have O'd after all then? Is it possible you just missed your LH peak? Yep, my follicular temps down to around 36.5ish, same as last month.

Hi everyone. It’s not looking good for me, my levels have only gone up by 20 in 96 hours. It’s worrying me that they are still going up, would rather just miscarry and be done with it than worry now over an ectopic 😣!

@HerringGull Yeah that's pretty normal for temps to do that, except if you're me (because my body sucks)! Are your follicular phase temps around the same value as last cycles? I decided to continue temping and my temps have gone up to luteal phase temps 🤷‍♀️

@Cc7750 Haha! Don't worry about TMI, we all overshare here so it's fine 😂 I think it's definitely really hard knowing whether it's watery CM or semen. After DTD I'm usually very wet and watery inside so I never check until 24 hours has passed (but having it lurk for a few days sounds annoying!) but I've read about a water test, where if you put it into water, CM will stay the same and not dissolve whereas semen will - I've never tried it myself though so can't say how true that is. And this sounds awkward to say but you could smell it? Semen smells like semen and CM smells like CM - not that that helps 😂

@unCliche TTI and over share but I struggle with CM monitoring as after you DTD how do you know if it’s your CM or a mixture! I find that it can lurk for a few days so I can’t really monitor CM for a few days after.
I am 5/6DPO and would say that I had clear watery / sticky wetter CM until yesterday but it is a true reflection or a total mash up of fluids! Sorry to be graphic but what I’m saying is that CM close to bedroom activity is hard to determine... unless I’m being a Wally?!

@unCliche I don't think you should worry. It's normal for follicular phase to vary a bit I think. Mine varies by a few days every cycle. Even if you're normally really regular it doesn't mean you can't have a different cycle every now and again :)
My temps dropped on the last day of last cycle and again on CD1 of this cycle, which I think is more what is supposed to happen so that's good.

@coffeewithmilk really happy it has turned out so well for you! Just as well you tested and you knew, because imagine if you had just assumed it was your period and then gone on a massive bender? Yikes!

@coffeewithmilk That's amazing news! So pleased for you. You must be so relieved. Try and relax until the scan but I think with how your hCG levels have gone up, there'll be nothing to worry about 💕

@EllyNC291 Nope, I've never self-inseminated before! I'll put in a little pre-seed and stick the cup (filled with DHs swimmers) in! I still think having a random looking chart is fine because all you're really checking for is a sustained temp shift.

@Cc7750 Ok phew! Glad it wasn't anything serious. The terms they use to describe things always sounds so scary! I feel much better thanks. No longer sore so hopefully I can get back to business in a few days.

@HerringGull Amazing to hear your temps are looking better. How far into AF did they eventually drop down?

CD15 and I still haven't got a positive OPK! And I definitely haven't ov'd yet because I still have EWCM 😱 Should I be worried? Especially with my short LP?

Levels gone from 171 to 350 in 48 hours!
They're doing a repeat tomorrow and then hoping to scan on Friday. I'm almost afraid to be happy until I get the scan but it's great about the levels xx

@HerringGull few more days of temping and I’ll share... all this talk of baileys made me open the bottle a few days back to add to a coffee... it tasted awful, I think the things gone off but then if I’d used my brain I should have worked out, anything cream based prob doesn’t last a year in a cupboard!! Good excuse to buy the new salted caramel one
