I'm ok. 8DPO and temps and symptoms seem promising but I'm also really cautious at the same time.

@unCliche I’m guessing I’m about 14/15dpo and the line is darker so it’s a waiting game now! How you doing, hope good!

No one deserves being alone at a time like this so we'll do our best to keep you company, even if from a distance. The IVF sounds like a step in the right direction. I hope that it all works out for you.

I’m sure none of you live in Brighton but if you do say nothing as I have a flock of gf’s and we’ve all known each other since we were 12 and telling you lot is keeping me at bay from telling one of them as if I do they’ll all know ha! I did tell the boy last night though which is a start ha!

@coffeewithmilk well Hi my name is Corrina, I live in Brighton, I have a little house 2 cats and I work in Travel Loyalty, always put my career first and now at age 39 (just ha) this will be my first baby (if successful). The hospital may feel lonely but this thread doesn’t.. my point being, message any time and write 20 if you want!. I am WFH like most and enjoy reading these updates!

Really feel for you being isolated in a hospital without your partner! I am also very pleased that they have referred you to for IVF! Two of my friends have done this for different reasons and both have conceived and didn’t find the process too stressful (which I’m sure it is for others). I hope you are out soon and that your partner can come see you! Your bed is always better than a hospital bed and don’t start me on hospital food! And tell me you have Netflix!

Hi everyone, thank you all for your messages. It's been really heartwarming to read through them. It feels like such a lonely time.
I'm still in the hospital but hopefully going home today. Feeling a lot of relief after the surgery - the pain was excruciating before I had it.
The doctor has done the referral for ivf so I'll just have to wait and see what happens with that.
Feeling annoyed that the scan wasn't done last Friday when they initially said because then this could have been prevented.. but obviously I've just been dealt a shit hand of cards and ivf hopefully will be the way I can get my rainbow.
All made extra worse that my husband hasn't been allowed in to see me. The quicker 2020 ends the better.
I've been thinking of you all, especially @Aila1994 - I hope you are doing ok

Sorry for the big essay. Hospitals are very lonely when you've no visitors so I could go on and on and on

Thanks again for all the messages - such a lovely bunch - as someone said earlier I don't know any of your names but I found myself feeling really comforted by the messages.

@EllyNC if I’m honest last month was my first month but these are mine if they help - there are 2 as I bought a new thermometer and it said to use with their app but they both show similar

@Cc7750 started telling this month, so am a bit new to it!! My temp did jump up slightly this morning but I’m not certain it was accurate- a) I took it sliiiiightly later than usual and b) I’ve been a bit poorly which I think has thrown it off perhaps. Will see over the next couple of days if it stays up!

@EllyNC do you temp? Would that help confirm? @RR21 it’s my first and I’m late 30’s (did take a few months of monitoring opks etc). Good luck with your 5/6 countdown and keep us updated x

Welcome @RR21! Good luck with you TWW what a Christmas day that could end up being 🙏 I'll echo @Cc7750 and say no earlier than 10/11dpo. But the best results are when you miss your period 😊

@Cc7750 thank you, yes I've got some cheapies lined up, I didn't realise how expensive tests could be! X

@RR21 Welcome! I wouldn't start until your a least 10dpo (ideally 14) as anything before then could be a false negative! But we all say that and still test ha! I have cheapies that I use when I want to but when I got a faint line I went out and got a 1st response too.. I even bought a clear blue digital today but if I used them every day my bank balance would take a pounding!

I hope you don't mind me joining this thread, you all seem so lovely, this is our first month TTC I am currently 6DPO, when would you start testing, AF is due christmas day.

Echo what @Pudding01 said, thinking of both of you. We don’t even know each other’s name, yet I found myself wondering how your getting on first thing this morning. I’m not going to say ‘hope your ok’ as your both obviously not, who would be but I hope the coming days get better x
