@Blossom428 nope!!! They got off lmp and won't change it regardless of what you say until dating scan! My sister had none at all! Like ever in pregnancy! She didn't look pregnant till six months either!!!

@AnxiousAnnie86 omg, do they just not take into account your long cycles with the date? How silly!

@Blossom428 my mum told me she had zero symptoms of pregnancy at all with me and found out 7 weeks in because her long cycles meant she didn't expect AF.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 13/11/2020 11:16

@Blossom428 27th, I will be 11 then according to nhs then, even though I know I will only be 8 + 5 it's so annoying they won't change it until dating scan

Blossom428 · 13/11/2020 11:04

Hmmm... I don't hold much hope for that haha. But I know it does happen. @TheOrangeMonster

I've got no other symptoms at all though. Just feel normal.

TheOrangeMonster · 13/11/2020 10:22

@Blossom428 it might well be implantation bleeding. I know it also might not, but it might. You could be one of the 25% who get it. That's a fair chance!

Blossom428 · 13/11/2020 10:03

Well still only brown spotting after a wee. Strange I usually only get 1 day of spotting. Even dtd this morning, which usually bring it on. I'm just waiting till she turns up though as I know she will come.
@AnxiousAnnie86
What date is your scan booked for? Are you still testing or trying to relax a bit now?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 13/11/2020 07:12

@TheOrangeMonster I'm not sure if they helped or not! The first few months on them they brought ov to under 20 days but then it started getting longer and longer.. the time I conceived it was day 33 both times!

@Blossom428 how you doing lovely, did the witch come!

@AnxiousAnnie86 @TheOrangeMonster
Yeah that it isn't it, if something can be 'fixed' so easily and just from a blood test or a few tests I've no idea why they make people wait soooo long before having that test and putting them through the misery.
I'm thinking I may have low progesterone but again GP wouldn't do anything untill 12 cycles. I'll go back after Christmas if nothings happened by then.

That sounds all very confusion @TheOrangeMonster ... but like you say if it's something as simple as taking steroids then I hope they give you them ASAP!!!

TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 21:04

@AnxiousAnnie86 I did look into that actually when you mentioned it a couple of months ago - I checked with my Dad who's a GP, he said not to touch them, apparently they're not recommended for PCO because they can have negative effects as often as positive ones so I decided to give them a miss. But appreciated! 🙂

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 20:40

@TheOrangeMonster have you ever tried soy isoflavones? I was taking them 3-7 for four months then the month o took I took them
2-6!! Xx

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 20:09

@AnxiousAnnie86 god when it's that simple....
I was reading about a trial with women with NCCAH and apparently 63% caught the next cycle after steroids, and a further 30% within 3. I just really hope they can give me them! (And also that DH is ok).

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 18:43

@TheOrangeMonster she had an under active thyroid and Thad 21 day bloods done for progesterone which showed it was low, so I think she had cream or a suppository I think! She caught second month after x

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 18:38

@AnxiousAnnie86 what happened to your friend? Do you know what it was she had in the end - did she catch quickly afterwards?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 17:54

@TheOrangeMonster 😫 I want this so badly for you! I was fifteen months and it felt like hell, it totally consumed me and I felt like it was all I thought about! I hope that the nhs reallt pull through for you on this and get sorted quickly! My friend had tried for years and years, then went for testing and she was so annoyed with herself as it was something easily fixed! X

@JayneHill yes, have been for over 6 months now. Given the length of my journey so far (2y8m) is guessing the issue is one which will need to be looked at and solved medically. Also when taking into account my age (26), the odds of not conceiving for this long are pretty low so they do think something weird is going on.
I already have PCO, they thought it was PCOS, but now they think it's a rare genetic condition affecting 1 in 18000 people called NC-CAH (Non Classic Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia), the impacts of which on fertility are not as well understood as a lot of endocrine disorders but that apparently the treatment for is simply steroids. I'm waiting for a hospital test on 2nd December to confirm the diagnosis before they can start me on treatment, meanwhile they have referred my husband for a semen analysis.
I'm just sort of playing a waiting game with the NHS now at the worst possible time to need it 😅
In the meantime we're hoping a miracle will happen in time for Christmas!

Dunno why but today I've been super pissed off with my husband touching me - not his fault, I just find it really annoying today. It's one of those days 😖

JayneHill · 12/11/2020 15:51

@TheOrangeMonster are you using anything like pre seed? X

Blossom428 · 12/11/2020 13:03

Haha yeah @TheOrangeMonster !

@AnxiousAnnie86 it's roughly about cd 14/15. Has been that past 2 cycles anyways. So would be 26th/27th Nov. If AF turns up properly tomorrow. As she's just playing games with me today!
So I could just leave OPKs and try and dtd around those days and see what happens.

TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 12:40

@Blossom428 my DH is like that too - I have to jump on him first thing in the morning before he gets dressed or by the evening he hasn't got the energy. Though bless him he's very diligent, he will try, even after this long!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 12:26

@Blossom428 I know! I always thought you've got one job!!l you roughly ovulate at the same time don't you? Can you tell when it's gonna fall yet? X

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 12/11/2020 12:09

Ohhh gosh really @AnxiousAnnie86 . Well yes, let's hope you've avoid that this pregnancy! And this will be a smooooth once 😊
Yes think I will do as you've said, and just chill out and enjoy Christmas (as much as we can with Covid)
Then get back on it after and maybe see my doctor too if nothings happened.
I say this but I know after AF passes I may start obsessing again. It's just the sex part I think. If ovulation falls on a weekend it's fine, but when it's mid week it's tricky as we never really dtd then as OH if off to work so early and knackered when he gets in 🙈 - see already thinking about it already! Must switch off haha!

Peony20 · 12/11/2020 10:28

@TheOrangeMonster haha I know what you mean! There’s a vlogger I follow on Instagram who was ttc and said she was the same every month thinking everything was a symptom but then the month she actually fell she had no symptoms at all! Typical isn’t x

@AnxiousAnnie86 oh no, hope your taking it easy today. I’m going to finish charting until the end of this cycle and just stick with the Opk’s. x

Hi @SarahAnne87 🙂 x

SarahAnne87 · 12/11/2020 10:25

Thanks everyone! I have lots of symptoms but I’ve been here before lol!
Best wishes to everyone ❤️❤️

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 10:08

@Blossom428 horrific, I was in and out of hospital with hypermesis until 25 weeks, but that must of start literally at four weeks so hoping it won't get that bad! I literally can't remember much else tbh it was 14 years ago 😂 I drank a ginger shot and put on some travel sickness bands and it seems to of eased now.

I would consider not tracking anything over the Christmas period, that was fully my intention and then to go in all guns blazing in Jan, whether or not I could of stuck to that I've no idea! X

Blossom428 · 12/11/2020 10:02

@TheOrangeMonster yes indeed! I think last month really hit me as soooo many people announced they were pregnant.

@AnxiousAnnie86 ohh no sorry to hear nausea has hit- although I guess good signs that things are progressing well. How was the pregnancy with your first child?

Welcome @SarahAnne87 ! It's awful symptom spotting isn't it. But you aren't out untill AF shows. I'm currently spotting 11dpo but drop in BBT so know I'm out this cycle.

TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 09:49

@AnxiousAnnie86 sorry to hear about the nausea. 😕

@SarahAnne87 hi! Good luck with your 2nd, hopefully it'll be a quick process for you!
