@Redfoot89 deffo not alone! We all seem to have our own battles on this thread!!! 31/32 day cycles sounds perfect! I won't test till 16dpo as the absolute latest my period has ever come is 15 xx

@AnxiousAnnie86 not to sound daft but nice to know im not the only one i guess. My periods have been pretty ok since actually, averaging around 31/32 days, have had two longer cycles but these were both after some extremely stressful family bereavements. On the whole im pretty pleased with how my cycles have been so im hoping its a good sign 🙏

Ive heard that some people get positive results from opks but just never knwon whether or not it was reliable. When are you planning on taking a pregnancy test?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 25/10/2020 09:27

@TTCagainHOPEFUL surprisingly the levels of D are not very high! I take a high strength D as well as prenatal vit! Yeah it's an opk xx

OP posts:
TTCagainHOPEFUL · 25/10/2020 09:25

@AnxiousAnnie86 yeah been taking pregnacare conception and OH taking the wellman conception too which I presume have all the required levels of vitamins you need?

Is the test you did an OPK? Heard they can pick up HCG as well as the surge hormone for ovulation but aren’t as reliable xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 25/10/2020 09:13

@TTCagainHOPEFUL there is no way! I've tried every what way! Just gotta ride it out :( we've been ttc since July 18 which feels like an absolute lifetime..... do you take any vitamins or anything? I was saying on here the other Fay vit D is meant to be one of key factors in successful conception! Xx

@Blossom428 I know it’s too early it just seems all consuming 😩

@AnxiousAnnie86 Thankyou! Yes got a positive OPK on the 14th so putting ovulation down to the 15th. We’ve tried not monitoring anything this month and allowing ourselves to enjoy things without the pressure of any tests or tracking. We caved in the 14th and did an opk and it’s been downhill from there obsessing again haha. People say to relax but how can you when it’s the only thing you want in the world right now? 😩😩😩 xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 25/10/2020 09:07

@Redfoot89 welcome!! I know exactly how you feel! I had a MC in October 19 first month trying, it took me (weirdly) 89 days for periods to start again and have been trying since and still somewhat irregular long cycles, my fear is the same as yours what if after all this time I fall pregnant again and I miscarry :(

So guys I know I've been so good this TWW no temping no testing nothing! And I've got to 13dpo and have just done an opk! No idea why just trying to distract from testing and the last time I was pregnant I took an opk and it was positive which led me to take a pregnancy test.... anyway, this has come back. I know it could be nothing and probably is nothing and I'm so annoyed with myself for not just waiting out AF :( this is literally four mins after taking it....

Hi ladies, can i join? Smile this will be our first month ttc, fertile week started yesterday Shock so im not even near testing yet and time is already going so sloooow. i came off the pill in dec 2018 and fell straight away, but had an early miscarriage. Took 89 days for my cycles to start again afterwards. We have now finally decided to start trying again and im so nervous after last time!! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend Smile

AnxiousAnnie86 · 25/10/2020 08:47

@WaitingForEgg so apparently sperm can live for 5-7 days in your uterus so just do it as much as you can around the night shifts!

@TTCagainHOPEFUL welcome!! Anything different is exciting!!!!! My boobs are sore so pretty sure af coming! Did you confirm ovulation by opk or anything. Xx

Blossom428 · 25/10/2020 08:42

Awwwe @AnxiousAnnie86 he is so cute!!! I feel having a dog or any pet is just the best. My mum has our boxer living at her house, she's literally the craziest dog ever but so cute!! Will defo our your focus on to your puppy and help you relax.

@TTCagainHOPEFUL 10days is still very early. I'm similar boat to you in terms of trying for 6 months and still nothing. Either wait till AF or try testing in a couple of days time as implantation May have only just happened and takes a few days to increase

WaitingForEgg · 25/10/2020 08:38

@AnxiousAnnie86 lasts 5-7 days? What does sorry?

TTCagainHOPEFUL · 25/10/2020 08:27

Can I jump in ☺️

I’m currently 10DPO tested this morning and a BFN. Around 6 months in ttc and no symptoms this month.. nothing. No sign of pregnancy or AF. I usually have sore boobs at least. This time nothing.... is that a good sign? Shall I remain hopeful? Help! Can’t take anymore months of trying and BFNs 😩

AnxiousAnnie86 · 25/10/2020 07:42

@WaitingForEgg if you can do it on a Morning? Just do it as much as you can! It lasts 5-7 days apparently!! Last pic but he's honestly so cute it's gonna be a long three weeks! I feel like I'm always waiting! Maybe it will stop me thinking about ovulation!!!!

@AnxiousAnnie86 oh gosh what an adorable dog! I cannot show DD, all she wants is a dog but we need to finish renovating the house first 🙈 cd 7 here. I think I’ll likely ovulate mid night shifts.... it’s like I’m working against a tide 🙈

AnxiousAnnie86 · 25/10/2020 07:00

We are going with Marty, as in McFly, it's my husbands favourite film!!

13dpo for me today, nothing happening much apart from boobs which are agony!! Don't know about temp or anything as not doing it this month.

@TheOrangeMonster my temp always drops to its lowest point a day or two before ovulation!!!!! X

TheOrangeMonster · 24/10/2020 11:15

@AnxiousAnnie86 Basil? Mortimer/Morty? Percy? Antonio? What a sweet little face!
I have two fluffy things (Siberian cats).

Argh, temp was looking promising for early ovulation again, but it dropped again this morning (although I suppose it could be the ovulation dip). At least DH is super horny at the moment so no issues getting it done enough!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 24/10/2020 04:56

@Blossom428 to be fair we've been putting it off for such a long time but we are both currently working from home and will be for the foreseeable so think nows the best time! It's a patterdale x Norfolk terrier, I will attach a pic the lady we've got him from sent to me tonight 😍 no names yet, although we like Fraser! Any suggestions?? 😂

Awwww a puppy!! What breed are you getting? And have you got a name?
Maybe the puppy will take your focus and you will feel less stressed! @AnxiousAnnie86
I do want a puppy but OH keeps putting it off for something reason! I've always been brought up with dogs so defo want one soon x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/10/2020 21:52

I think it's all down to stress and worry for me! We get our puppy in three weeks so I'm hoping that will take a stress off! We talked for years about babies or puppies! Now I've made this choice maybe the other will follow!!! X

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 23/10/2020 18:55

As far as I know there is very little one can do to regulate irregular cycles except make sure you're a healthy weight (check BMI) and eat balanced diet. After that it's all down to stress and individual's physiology.

SRyellow · 23/10/2020 13:49

@AnxiousAnnie86 a lot online says a long follicular phase doesn’t tend to cause problems, it just takes longer. Shorter phases can mean the egg isn’t ready, some websites mention certain foods can help with the shorter side but not much about regulating irregular or long phases! X

AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/10/2020 13:31

@SRyellow yeah same! I don't know how to regulate the first half of cycle though?! X

OP posts:
SRyellow · 23/10/2020 11:47

@AnxiousAnnie86 same LP pretty much 14 days every time so follicular must be irregular. Wish there was more of a pattern to it! X

AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/10/2020 09:59

@SRyellow do you always have the same LP Phase, so my ovulation can vary anywhere between 17 -30 (normally 19-24) but my LP is always always 14 days exactly xx

OP posts:
SRyellow · 23/10/2020 09:27

@AnxiousAnnie86 I know how you feel, the temp checking starts to make me anxious at every slight change and then I start over reading in to it. I decided to wait till day 14 to start the digital testing last month (as day 19/20 seemed to be more likely from previous months) and I didn’t get a smiley. AF came day 27 (which was a first, usually long cycles - typical!) so must have been earlier. New cycle now just trying to be more relaxed (trying is definitely the word!) and hope for the best.
