Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 4

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@lucyrp that must be wrong surely. Even when I mc'd my rhr did a gradual drop over a week, there was never a sudden drop

lucyrp · 20/12/2020 07:34

I just got my 3+ on CB first thing this morning and a really dark line on an IC and just did a stupid thing and checked my rhr whilst lay in bed and it's the lowest it's been since ovulation😭

Good (early) morning! I have been following this group for quite a while now as I find the theory of RHR and our cycle so interesting. I’m on cycle 9 TTC my 2nd and got my BFP this morning. I will attach my RHR but it clearly showed a big rise for me, I always drop before a couple of days before AF is due and honestly didn’t expect this at all this month. We had kinda given up (although do you ever really give up?!) but I hadn’t used ovulation sticks or any apps this month. I could tell I was ovulating sometime between 7th Dec & 13th but I couldn’t know when I ovulated. Hoping this one sticks (had a previous miscarriage before my first child so I think you always have that worry) and I hope you all get your BFPs soon.

Oh @Juno231 that's such a shame about the bfn, especially when it looks such a nice implantation dip at 6dpo too 💛

mumof23188 · 19/12/2020 11:08

@Juno231 I’m sorry for the BFN 😩. Your charts do look so good!! With my last baby I didn’t get a BFP until 13dpo so you aren’t out yet.

Juno231 · 19/12/2020 10:58

@Wombat84 our bodies are so mean aren't they! I'm 12DPO and my RHR is the highest it's been all year I think and my temp is still high but had another BFN today so just waiting for cycle 13 to start now.

@Moocher90 @mumof23188 chart as requested! BFNs though.

14dpo. Cd26. BFN on FRER. Temp is highest it's ever been and rhr is still stable where it's been nearly a week. Which is still higher than I've ever had since I had the fitbit years ago 🤷‍♀️

mumof23188 · 19/12/2020 08:31

@MissBPotter I know 😩. He’s been gone since Monday so not been able to DTD! Yes he’s home for Christmas 😍. Ah that’s great about your HR. Try not to worry to much. It’s harsh but yes nothing you can do. Just take each day as it comes. I’m sure everything is ok!

MissBPotter · 19/12/2020 08:23

@SS123456 I agree I would wait til 6 weeks at least.
@Juno231 ooh!! @mumof23188 that’s not good that DH is going to be away. Hopefully he’s home for Xmas?
My rhr has gone up to 68 now so that’s looking good but I feel like I feel less nauseous than before so I’m a bit concerned about that, but there’s nothing I can do about it really!!

mumof23188 · 19/12/2020 08:07

Hi @Wombat84 you have to wait 48hrs to post a pic! Sounds like you won’t be staying on here long though. Good luck!

@LarasMama ahh that’s great your OPK is darkening. Mine still haven’t arrived in the bloody post. Will get some from Amazon for next cycle. Glad your DD is feeling better ☺️. I’m ok thanks, still feeling sick and boobs still sore 🤔. TTC is going to be very tricky as OH now works away 😩.

@Juno231 looking amazing!! Hopefully it’s not a troll chart 🤞🤞 what’s your bbt saying?

@Moominmiss your chart is definitely looking equally as impressive 🤞🤞

CD9 and I’ve had a rise! Not had a rise this early before!!

lucyrp · 19/12/2020 07:56

@SS123456 ohh that makes sense. If I was able to choose when to have an early scan I would wait until at least 6/7/8 weeks so there is more to see personally. £80 is a lot of money ! X

SS123456 · 19/12/2020 07:54

@lucyrp this is through a private clinic, the nhs have been beyond useless during and since the mc. I'm paying for the scan and the medication at the moment x

Moominmiss · 19/12/2020 07:40

@Juno231 your chart is looking amazing!!
When will you next test?
How’s your BBT chart looking?
Mine is nowhere near as impressive as yours sadly.

@Wombat84 you can attach pics once you've been a member for 24h I think it is - welcome!

@SS123456 no idea, I'm sorry! It does seem a bit early I think?

Check out my troll chart - 12DPO and it's shot up to 75!

@SS123456 I haven't been given an early scan even though I had a previous loss so feeling a bit annoyed about thag but if you were going for a scan at 4.5 weeks you'd expect to see something like what I've attached below

SS123456 · 19/12/2020 06:03

Has anyone had a super early scan? I was prescribed progesterone and aspirin yesterday due to a previous early loss and the clinic want me to go for a scan on Monday when I believe I'll be 4 and a half weeks. Is that normal? Is it not too early to see anything? I'm worried we'll see nothing and I'll be left freaking out ahead of a second scan

LarasMama · 18/12/2020 22:42

@MissBPotter Thank you lovely. 🙏🏻

@mumof23188 Thanks dear. DD is feeling better. How are you feeling? What CD are you today? OV is usually around CD11-13, but has also been on CD14,15 sometimes. 🤷🏻‍♀️
CD10 and OPK is getting darker now. I had cloudy EWCM. I feel like OV will be Sunday this time. Let’s see. 😇

Wombat84 · 18/12/2020 16:01

Hi everyone. I'm new to mumsnet. How do I attach pics to a post?

I have been tracking RHR and have plotted it along with BBT. I seem to be staying around 76. Went up to 77 for one day and back to 76. That's the highest it's been since I bought my fitbit 4 years ago!

Currently 13dpo x

lucyrp · 18/12/2020 13:13

@mumof23188 it's gone down slightly to 89 now 🙈🙉

mumof23188 · 18/12/2020 13:12

@lucyrp 😅 imagine! I’m sure everything is fine. It’s just all that extra blood your heart has to pump around ☺️.

lucyrp · 18/12/2020 13:11

@MissBPotter I know I'm not sure what's happening ! I got mine in the supermarket and they weren't in a box ! 🙈

@mumof23188 no I'm not poorly at all! Same as always 🙉 oh god don't say that !🤣

mumof23188 · 18/12/2020 13:08

@lucyrp or could be triplets 😅😍

mumof23188 · 18/12/2020 13:08

@MissBPotter I just think my hormones have gone to shit 🤣😩. Totally get you on that, I always feel paranoid I will see someone I know when buying tests haha.

@lucyrp wowsers!!! Are you poorly?

MissBPotter · 18/12/2020 10:28

@Juno231 that’s a shame but it is still early and you’re not out yet!
@LarasMama hope things get back to normal soon.
@mumof23188 how strange, do you essentially feel like you could be pregnant then with the nausea and sore boobs?!? Something strange going on!
@lucyrp that’s a strong rhr rise!! Mine has stuck at 67 for the last two days now. I’ve ordered some CB digitals but not due to arrive til 23/12. I didn’t want to buy them in my local supermarket as they’re in special security box things and I feel like someone I know will walk past just as they’re cracking them open 😂😂
