Hello girls... I have not had internet access for a while, have been thinking about you all though. Can't look at the threads once they get past a certain size, my mobile is stubborn like that

I hope everyone is ok? Is it just me or does Halloween really make you feel sombre? I presume it is just the nights drawing in and the cold weather, but I just feel blue at the moment

I am tired, but having to wait up in case DH needs me to collect him. He's out with the boys - last I heard, he texted to say that they were listening to Mysterious Girl by Peter Andre Whatever next!?

Sybil are you trying out any of the traditional sickness remedies (ginger, dry biscuits, pressure point bands) I can't imagine what it must be like to be soooo ill. All I got was bloatedness and v.bad constipation (sorry TMI); but as you say it is all for a good cause

I want to see some more topical names ladies !

gillyfizzcracklepop · 02/11/2007 16:23

AF now here - 25 day cycle this month.

Hope she stays away for you Nomore

PiggyPenguin · 02/11/2007 14:57

I know, I shouldn't complain but projectile vomiting the only thing I managed to force into me yesterday (fishfinger sandwich) was just the end to a full day of feeling truly lousy. It will be worth it, it just seems hard work at the moment.

nomoremagnolia · 02/11/2007 14:32

Hi all, cat is on the mend but still not fully better If not better by Mon the vet wants to run more tests.
gilly I'm expecting AF this w/e too
sybil at least the sickness is all in a good cause

Hi all, sorry haven't been around, have been too busy finding toilets to throw up in. Morning sickness has landed with a very nasty bump and I feel as rough as hell. A friend actually said to me yesterday, I know you're pregnant you look really ill, yeah, thats me, the green-faced one on the school run.

Anyway, know I shouldn't complain, but I hope you all are in the 50% who don't get morning sickness and just blossom...

gillypumpkin · 02/11/2007 10:31

Sorry I haven?t posted in ages guys. Feeling a but bleugh at the moment, AF about to rear her ugly head this weekend and feeling crampy all week so I know its not worked again. Cycle 12 here we come.

Nomore, sorry to hear about your cat. How is he today?

MT and Toomuch, good luck with the time off and being yourselves for a while. I am tempted but at the same time feel I have been at this game for too long to have a break now. We are due to see the docs soon anyway so lets see what comes out of that.

Sybil how are you?

Where?s Ready?

mistlethrush · 01/11/2007 20:50

didn't notice that!

Well, I did manage not to count - I ended up coming on here to double check that my rough estimate and gut feeling was about right (it was, but I wasn't sure, and needed confirmation that I'd estimated last af correctly...again!

teeheelaydee · 01/11/2007 16:03

toomuch - Do you really think you could stop counting your cycle - I have tried and just did it anyway.

nomore - Hope your cat is OK. My 2 cats and I are sending lots of positive thoughts your way. It is awful when they are sick as they can't tell you what is wrong. Fingers crossed.

toomuchtimehaunting · 01/11/2007 15:56

converstions about bonging followed by "on the up" did make me smile..

sorry nomore no offence to your cat who I hope is better

mistlethrush · 01/11/2007 13:46

Toomuch - in the same boat. We're just going to be sensible about the days we choose - dh clearly not able to work it out as his first comment recently was 'we didn't....' (to which I replied 'Oh yes we did....') so that'll be up to me then

Nomore - Fingers crossed for cat - hope its on the up

toomuchtimehaunting · 01/11/2007 13:10

Got my fingers crossed that your cat gets better nomore

Thanks nomore and MT for the hugs

I'm going to completely forget trying till the new year so I can be a normal person for a while who eats and drinks what she likes and doesn't count her cycle.. not sure what I'm going to do about the bonging - i.e. whether we should abstain at points or use contraception.. that's still an open issue.. mmmm

Hope everyone is well

noooomoooorescarynames · 01/11/2007 12:30

Hi MT

Cat is better than he was, but not out of the woods yet - vet's was first thing this morning and we're waiting to see how he is over the next 24hrs. He got worse on Tues, then a bit better last night, so we're just praying he's on the mend now. Yesterday morning he had blood in his urine which is not good, but he's on ABs so fingers crossed.

Have asked Whizzz to make me a charm bracelet for BF.

mistlethrush · 01/11/2007 09:27

When's the vet appointment? Is cat better than it was - hope so.

Did you find a present for your bf birthday? What have you got her?

noooomoooorescarynames · 01/11/2007 08:30

ok so the halloween smile didn't work and neither did the return key by the look of things!

Here's some extra lines for you to add in to my last post to make it look right

Something weird's going on with the formatting...

mistlethrush · 01/11/2007 08:28

Hi Nomore - hope cat is OK. I see halloween smilies have gone already !

noooomoooorescarynames · 01/11/2007 08:26

hiya toomuch sorry you're so down about ttc -if a break's what you need to relax over xmas then do it. ((hugs)) MT I can't say I'm wishing for a BFN for you, but I hope testing doesn't cause you any more heartache than you've already had. ((hugs to you to)) hi kensgirl grrrr to your GP But at least you're getting the bood tests done - I had to wait 3 months as my day 1 kept falling on a sat and GP insisted it had to be day 1 or 2 and that day 3 was too late. not sure how cat is - off to vets now and will update you later [hsmile] (better use the halloween ones while they're still here!)

mistlethrush · 31/10/2007 12:25

(((Toomuch))). Don't get depressed! Enjoy the party season - I intend to - and then start again in the New Year. I'm doing just that. I wouldn't have minded an abstemious Christmas again, but it wasn't to be, so I'm going to make the most of it. (However, just resolved to cut down alchohol anyway following listening to the radio this morning about cancer risks...).

Probably ought to eat the Pregnacare anyway - did have some for 6 days, but gave up. Still got to go and buy test to make sure that its really -ve... Don't really want to but need to to make sure everything is OK...

toomuchtimehaunting · 31/10/2007 12:20

Floss, Fi, Sybil, Ready, teeheelaydee and everyone else - {big hello}

toomuchtimehaunting · 31/10/2007 12:19

Hi everyone.. quiet on here isn't it.. where is everyone?

bonging too much!?!

I'm so depressed about the whole thing that we are giving up until after xmas now..

Morning MT

Hi Kensgirl - good to have you back.. sorry about your GP! Jan will be here before you know it and hopefully you'll have a BFP by then

Hi nomore how are you doing? How's your cat? Any news after you've been off the alcohol ?

mistlethrush · 31/10/2007 12:15

Hi Kensgirl - was wondering where you'd got to! At least you're getting the blood tests sorted out - which is a good start. January not that far off now!

My friend (in the business) suggested every two or three days was a good aim - from day 9 onwards. So, that is similar advice to your Doctor's.

Been very quiet here recently.

kensgirl · 31/10/2007 10:29

Hello there!'ve been away from mn for a while as I still have a hormonal laptop, and we had car problems, so i have been busy trying to sort that out too.

This new layout shocked me a bit, I couldn't find anyone!! Still, I've sorted it out now.

please will everyone fill me in on any major news that I may have missed?

Nothing too exciting from me - I went to the GP a couple of weeks ago, as we have been ttc now 10'5 months, but about 13 cycles. She said it was too early to refer us, and to go back in January if i'm not pg. She has sent me for day 21 blood tests though, so that will be Friday, cd 19 today. She told me to just continue with folic acid, and dh to go easy on cycling , laptops, hot baths, etc. He has been taking the wellman supplements, munching brazil nuts, and a daily fruit smoothie for us both. Oh, and that we were probably bonging too much, only to do the wild thing every few days, or every other day.

Still, fingers crossed hey?

mistlethrush · 30/10/2007 22:34

All OK here. Yes, very quiet. How are you?
