@MgW1 I actually can't quite believe how many things I take now, sometimes I wonder if I might be completely mad. I take seven seas, extra Vit D, extra methylfolate, ubiquinol, and omega3 fish oil. I've also just bought vit C and vit E to add to the mix 🙈 I just want to feel so badly like I'm doing something to help me get pregnant that I can't not take them. In fact all I really need to do is make sure we have plenty of sex at the right time in my cycle, which I think I've failed at this month by deciding not to use opks 😣 I've just turned 39 and my oh is 43 x

LT103 · 02/12/2020 13:37

Epo delayed my ovulation too. I have no problems with pregnacare. I stopped it for a bit but restarted it and my cycles are much more stable on it. I took omega 3/dha this cycle to help with ewcm

Also tried conceive plus for the first time. Ovulation day is today so 2ww and fingers crossed for a xmas bfp!!!!

MgW1 · 02/12/2020 13:08

@Kitekat81
Stopped pregnacare because they were making me way too constipated 🙈 it was just awful!!! I dont think all those ingredients are necessary. The seven seas seem to be suiting me well , no issues so far. I dont know if I should be taking anything else , im 37 and he hubby is 40 x

Kitekat81 · 02/12/2020 12:48

@whatever1980 @MgW1 I was also taking EPO before I had my last anovulatory cycle, that and Pregnacare. I read online that both can delay ovulation, I have no idea if that's true but I stopped both immediately and so far 🤞 my cycles have been back on track. I take seven seas now (plus quite a long list of extra things...) and so far everything is going ok. It's funny that we choose between Pregnacare and seven seas like they are much the same thing, but if you look Pregnacare has way more ingredients, and in much higher quantities than Seven Seas, so it's a much stronger pill. I don't know what the right answer is. Maybe if your cycles are irregular then Pregnacare might help to make them more regular, but if they are already regular I wouldn't take anything which might mess with them 🤷‍♀️

@Overlyanxious I know how you feel. Some announcements are easier to deal with, but some others are so hard. When we started trying in April, I thought I would be pregnant by now (of course) and was already thinking about being on maternity leave, and which of my colleagues I would want to cover me at work when I was off. 8 months later and that very colleague announced that she was pregnant herself. So now I'll need to start thinking about how I'm going to find cover for her, rather than having her lined up to cover me. I found that one really hard to deal with as I felt like she was kind of part of my TTC plan (even though of course she had no idea about that!) The only way I managed to deal with it was thinking that if I also got pregnant quite soon, it would be great to have a friend who was due about the same time to go through the pregnancy and maternity leave experience with. However another cycle has passed and I'm still not pregnant, so that's looking less likely now 😢

Overlyanxious · 02/12/2020 11:31

@whatever1980 yes it goes to the pit of my stomach. Yes, I also mainly raise it on here as just need to get it off my chest. I’ve also told my sister as she’s really understanding - but she’s one of these lucky people who got pregnant first time and with twins.

Fingers crossed you ovulate soon

MgW1 · 02/12/2020 11:27

@whatever1980
I dont know , I took it for 2 weeks. I had the ewcm on Cd20 and my cycle is 30 days normally. Will my Af be late? Have you tried Agnus Cactus? X

whatever1980 · 02/12/2020 10:57

@Overlyanxious i know it's tough when other people announce it. Obviously you're delighted for them but it's an "ouch I wish that was me" moment and then (for me) will that ever be me again and it goes to the pit of my stomach.

I'm really private about this too so I only really mention it on here. I feel people I know would say "ha you should've started earlier you're not going to conceive now" I know they wouldn't reply but that's how I feel.

Anyway all we go (apart from not take EPO) is to stay positive

@MgW1 do you think EPO stopped you ovaulating?

MgW1 · 02/12/2020 10:48

@whatever1980
I think EPO delayed my ovulation if i ovulated as well. Iv stopped taking it. Just taking the seven seas supplement and my husband is taking a mans pill and thats it xx

Overlyanxious · 02/12/2020 10:28

I’m feeling a bit rubbish right now. My boss just announced her pregnancy to the team. I already knew - but I feel horrible being reminded. I’m really happy for her and she’s lovely, but when I was briefly pregnant in summer I had imagined me making that announcement. I wish I could just be happy for her and not feel unhappy

whatever1980 · 02/12/2020 09:48

I'm feeling like you @Kitekat81

I take soy to bring ovulation forward (worked in Oct and Nov) but at the same time been taking EPO which has pushed ovulation back. Couldn't make it up.

I usually get night sweats around period and ovulation (have for years)which I had thought meant I was peri-menopausal but doctor confirmed not. Not had that this month so it's obviously dealt with that - great but delayed ovulation. Not even sure whether it has given me much more ewcm either to be honest.

Thanks again everyone

Overlyanxious · 02/12/2020 09:45

@Kitekat81 ah yes I can see why you do temping. Last month I was pretty sure my af was coming and I did a test and the next time I went to the toilet there she was. I’m annoyed I wasted a test.

I’ve just had an internal ultrasound to check everything is looking ok inside. I wish they could have told me then and there whether I’m ok. How I have a week of pain waiting

Kitekat81 · 02/12/2020 09:22

@Overlyanxious yeh you might be right, maybe I skipped the wrong thing! 😂 I've stuck with temping as I had a few anovulatory cycles earlier this year which really freaked me out, so I find it really reassuring to temp and see that rise every cycle to confirm ovulation. It also saves me a fortune on pregnancy tests, my temp usually starts to drop around 10/11dpo so I know by then not to keep my hopes up as af is on it's way 😣

Overlyanxious · 02/12/2020 08:59

@whatever1980 hopefully you will get your peak really soon - it may just be a day or 2 out. I know when reading about other supplements they can sometimes affect your cycle. Although sometimes I find my cycle does something weird for no reason.

@Kitekat81 fingers crossed you still have a chance this month. Perhaps you could still do opks but stop doing other monitoring like temps so that you still have control, but aren’t checking everything all the time. I’ve given up on temps as it was stressing me out too much

Kitekat81 · 02/12/2020 08:51

Hi ladies, well, I think I may be out this cycle. I made what I now see was the wrong decision to skip the OPKs this month. I thought that I might be more relaxed if I could just pee whenever I liked without worrying about timing and holding, and figured that we usually have regular enough sex and could just keep going until I saw a temp rise. Of course this would have to be the cycle in which my bbt is not giving me a clear picture, plus we've just missed two days of trying as monday I was feeling really unwell and had no interest in dtd, then last night my oh was so knackered from work I just couldn't wake him up! 🙄 I usually ov between days 13 and 16, now on day 17 and still not sure if I've ov'd (my app thinks I ov'd on day 13 as I did have a rise, but I think all my temps so far are still lower than they would usually be post-ov). I guess if I haven't ov'd yet then I might still be in with a chance if we try later today, but if so I will have missed the two days leading up to ov. Oh well, at least I'll be able to have a few drinks over xmas and avoid having to answer questions about why I'm not drinking! I won't make the mistake of skipping the opks again. I can understand how it might make some people more relaxed, but I'm too much of a control freak, I need to know exactly what's going on! 😂

whatever1980 · 02/12/2020 08:20

I think you might be on to something @Overlyanxious

I took EPO for EWCM and usually have my peak today.

CBFM - still high
CBD - low not even flashing like usual
Easy@home - last box I bought had some dud sticks in but not showing high either.
Ava bracelet - temp not rising

Gutted as first month have taken EPO and I think it's mucked up cycle

whatever1980 · 01/12/2020 22:36

Hi @Overlyanxious it's my first month using them so not sure yet and hopefully not - my peak should be in two days

Loladoodle · 01/12/2020 20:47

Awhh I hear ya @selina37 took 3 years for me last time then happened twice within a few months (one mmc). Will happen when it’s right for sure! I hope things have settled down for you re stress! Life has a way of throwing so much at you all at once sometimes ... gotta just make lemonade (maybe add gin too) with those lemons!! 🍋

selina37 · 01/12/2020 20:27

Feel like I'm on cycle 3567 😂 It's been at least a couple of years, I've lost count. But, it has been an incredibly stressful two years for other reasons and I truly believe what you say, our time is the right time ❤️

MgW1 · 01/12/2020 20:03

@Overlyanxious
Well i have had a funny month this month. Negative opks between cd 12 - 17. Didnt buy anymore cos not had positives since mc and got stressed testing. Then on cd 20 I got a strong pains on one side and ewcm. So I dont know if I should expect my AF late if I ovulated late? Currently around 6 dpo.
Im having a few drinks saturday nights and over xmas week , not going mad but until bfp its a scaled down business as usual xx

Loladoodle · 01/12/2020 19:55

@Overlyanxious @selina37 ahhh we are all at a similar dpo hopefully get a hat trick of bfps 🙏

Overlyanxious · 01/12/2020 19:20

@Loladoodle I’m 5dpo so still feeling ok. I’m not obsessing over any potential symptoms yet.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you @Loladoodle and @selina37

Loladoodle · 01/12/2020 19:02

What cycle are you on @selina37?

Loladoodle · 01/12/2020 18:37

@selina37 welcome to crazy week 😜 eat sleep poas repeat 🤪

selina37 · 01/12/2020 18:31

@Loladoodle I'm about to go insane over here too! 🙋🏼‍♀️ About 6dpo for me, I think. I saw the tiniest speck of brown and my off my mind wanders to hope/worry (mainly worry 🙄)
