The apps are just estimates I think, based on predicted cycle length @Mommabear20. If you want to know with more certainty you should consider getting some OPKs or temping. I don’t have the patience or organisation for temping, but I feel like it might be right up your alley!

Mommabear20 · 14/10/2020 10:37

🤞🤞 fx for at least one of us getting a BFP!!!

I'm now super confused 🤷‍♀️ my period app says I ovulated one day and having just downloaded Flo it says another so who knows! 😂

Ooh @Mommabear20, @Char899 and @Bellaphant - it looks like you are all heading into serious(ish) testing territory now, how exciting!
Surely at least someone on this thread will get a BFP again on the first try! Can’t wait to find out who will get their BFP first!
@Bellaphant I know all about pretending to be sleepy to scam a feed haha! Mine is like, oh I am SOoOOOooooo sleepy, then gobble gobble and NOPE! Let’s run! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃

Bellaphant · 14/10/2020 09:05

@Waiting4another, I say two naps...it's often one and he used the other to pretend to be sleepy and scam a feed, lol. Yeah, he's in the baby room with like three other kids, he seems to love it, although they mainly seen to be keeping him quiet with food! I'm due sometime between next Tuesday and Thursday.

@AngeloMysterioso, I wanted to start earlier but we need baby to come in the summer - my partner was convinced it would happen easily. Me, not so much.

Mommabear20 · 14/10/2020 04:36

AF is due in 7 days so I'm hoping that I can refrain from testing now but we'll see!! 😂

@Char899 and @Mommabear20 you are getting pretty close to proper testing territory now, how exciting!
My DS sleeps through, but cluster feeds when falling asleep and in the morning before getting up properly - that’s what I get for having him sleep in a crib next to me I think
@AngeloMysterioso the first year just flies by, doesn’t it! I wish I started ttc when mine was around that age too, I left it a bit late I think.
@Qwom a Halloween baby would be cute 🎃 - good luck!
@Bellaphant So lucky you have a 15 month old still on 2 naps - my DS decided to cut out his second nap at like a year (it was waaay too early and we couldn’t get a proper routine going again for like 6 weeks after). How is nursery going? My DS loves it - we found a smaller place with fantastic educators and he has so much fun there.

Waiting4another · 13/10/2020 22:40

Oops, I swear I was posting that on another thread, sorry everyone!

Waiting4another · 13/10/2020 22:31

That’s what I meant before by medical conditions, ovarian cysts are one medical condition that can cause pregnancy tests to be consistently positive. There are a few others too. It is definitely not normal to be consistently getting faint positives. You really should speak to your GP about it.

Bellaphant · 13/10/2020 22:11

I've eaten the world today girls. Am telling myself it's a sign. Grin

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 20:56

@Char899 hahaha glad to know I'm not the only one that distracts themselves with food! 😂

OP posts:
Char899 · 13/10/2020 19:27

@Mommabear20 af due in 6 days.. going to try and stick it out tonight and test tomorrow I think! Just ordered a Wagamama that’ll keep me occupied for a bit... 😂

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 19:20

@Char899 no more testing here, but as a result I did stress eat an entire tray of roast potatoes 😂🤦‍♀️
How many days left till AF is due?

We can stay strong and not test! (I think 🤔)

Char899 · 13/10/2020 18:27

Hi all, managed to distract myself with housework after my mum left!
I think I’ll be in trouble when ds goes to bed though lol 9dpo today and I really don’t want to see another bfn!
How’s everyone today?
Anymore testing from you @Mommabear20?
Welcome @Qwom Smile

Qwom · 13/10/2020 16:53

Fingers crossed for that baby dust to settle! 😊 I'm hoping for a Halloween conception on our first try 😁

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 15:47

@Qwom welcome!! Good luck! Hoping for lots of BFPs shortly for us all!!

@Waiting4another, mine is 15 months this weekend, just started 3 days at nursery. Couple of months ago he was feeding a ridiculous amount of times during the day, but I've cut it down to 2 day feeds (when he naps) and then his night feeding is all over the place - some times he's up every 2 hours, last night and the night before he did 8.30-1.30, fed, slept, fed, then woke up at 5.45...

Qwom · 13/10/2020 14:41

Me! Well in a couple of weeks. DS is 11so a bit of a gap! Am v nervous about trying Blush

AngeloMysterioso · 13/10/2020 14:39

Thanks all!

@Char899 AF is just packing her bags and saying goodbye having rocked up last Thursday (she even had the bad manners to show up a day early, the cheeky cow).

@Waiting4another DS will be turning 1 in 3 weeks Shock I have no idea where the time has gone!

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 14:10

@Waiting4another oh that's good! My niece has just turned 1 and she's a really little person now too! They're great at that age! 😁
How often does he feed during the night if you don't mind me asking? DD is formula fed and sleeps through the night since about 8 weeks so I don't know how it goes with BF babas.

OP posts:
Waiting4another · 13/10/2020 14:05

@Mommabear20 I think the organisation and pre planning is amazing. I wish I was 1/4 as organised!
It is definitely baby steps with DS, but I feel like we are doing fewer night feeds lately, so hopefully that makes a difference.
DS is getting so grown up now at 16 months haha - such a little human - it makes me think I need to get on with the sibling making asap!

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 13:49

In my defence, I've only done my Christmas shopping this yearly because I'm on maternity leave so money is tight atm so trying to space it out a little.

@Waiting4another any progress on DS taking milk from a cup? Cutting out some breastfeeds can only help so fx for you!

OP posts:
Waiting4another · 13/10/2020 12:22

@Mommabear20 seriously, I haven’t even thought about Christmas presents yet, let alone purchased or wrapped them!
@Char899 hope you are feeling better this morning, but OH can take it, keep him on his toes and blame the hormones hehe
@Bellaphant 9dpo is not totally silly to test, if you have a cheapie strip around it is worth a shot, if it is a BFN it will just be as expected/too early, but if it is a BFP it might be nice to know before spending time with mum! I am such a bad testing influence, haha, sorry not sorry
@AngeloMysterioso welcome, are you trying for your second bub too? How old is your first?
Still nothing exciting to report here, just 42 days of identical OPKs, but trying to DTD most days this week in case ovulation turns up around day 45 again like it did with my first! If I don’t ovulate by the end of the week I might need to think about cutting out some breastfeeds I think 😕

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 10:47

😂 @Bellaphantits to make up for the lack of organisation you DH brings to the table 😆

OP posts:
Bellaphant · 13/10/2020 10:45

@Mommabear20, you are so organised, you make me tired.
@Char899, hope you are feeling better. I'm seeing my mum on Sunday, thinking I'd be about 9 days post ovulation, that's too early to test!

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 10:36

@Char899 oh no! Hope you're mood has lifted a little today! Im keeping myself occupied by wrapping Christmas presents 😂 DH can downstairs with our daughter at 8am and said it looked like Santa's workshop! 😆

How is everyone feeling today? Any new symptoms popped up?
