Happy Friday Ladies!!! Flowers

@SarahMumof1DS I am so sorry to hear about your hubby and must be a difficult time, particularly with TTC. Hope he recovers soon and your family can move forward. Sounds like you are still in with a chance so sending so much positivity your way for that BFP, even though you weren't TTC this month. xx

@gracie2307 how are you today hon? Hopefully AF is tapering off now so that you can enjoy your weekend. Any plans?

@MamaPheebz Good luck with the TWW, and I will be joining you in 3 days. It is hard isn't it? I tend to try to pass the time by watching YouTube vids. I've been watching loads on how to help with implantation. I eat lots of nuts and seeds but it seems Brazil nuts and pine nuts are very good so might do that this month. You never know! :)

@MgW1 so sorry to hear about your loss and it sounds so traumatic, especially as your husband was not allowed in with you. Big hugs! Welcome to our group and hope we can help make your TTC journey enjoyable. So lovely having a group of ladies we can talk to during this time. LOL @ jizz pills!! Love that Grin

@redpeppersoup I totally hear you as I am an over sharer as well. When I got pregnant last month, we agreed we wouldn't say anything to anyone until the end of the first trimester but as soon as I got to work, told my 2 colleagues. I think this time around, I won't say anything until we are in the clear but I have a couple of friends abroad and a work colleague who are really rooting for us and they ask all the time so will probably only tell those 3. It's so hard keeping secrets and my life is an open book LOL

@Emc16x sorry to hear about AF! We'll all be on the November bus with our BFPs xx

@Sunflowers81 hello, how are you doing? I am taking folic acid, Vit D, Vit C and today I watched a couple of videos about foods to help with implantation and it seems nuts such as brazil and pine are really helpful during this time. Not a brazil nut fan but willing to give it a go :)

Dogmum13 · 23/10/2020 10:19

@Bmeggar I will go join it now 😁

@SarahMumof1DS yes they definitely do! So much easier to do it yourself lol

MgW1 · 23/10/2020 10:05

@redpeppersoup thank you, I've downloaded it too now, and I've ordered the easy@home test strips from amazon. It seems presumptuous but sensible to get the pack with 50 opk and 20 pregnancy tests, but sensible? I thought I was doing ok tracking my cycles too! :-) I might do temp too.

@MgW1 You are doing so well, keep positive. We can have our dreams! Star

@ACNass I can see a faint line!

Bmeggar · 23/10/2020 09:00

@SarahMumof1DS

Thanks *@redpeppersoup*. I'm nervous about if I do get a BFP as I don't think it would be good timing but me and DH are believers of things happen for a reason. My creamy CM has started again and I've had mild nausea and bloating today. I don't want to convince myself I'm pregnant as I've been there lots of times now with tonnes of symptoms and AF arrives on time. It has gone through my head today but need to just dismiss it and wait for AF. It's nice that we all keep each other updated with our own journeys.

Yeah I definitely think there's a connection between stress and infertility in some cases. I've had some moments of craziness but they were enough to make me be more restrained when it comes to POAS and mulling over symptoms. But I've had many times I've been so convinced I'm pregnant and now I feel like I just have to ignore the symptoms and actually it really helps, I don't keep going over and over the what if's anymore. My thing is looking up symptoms but then I think I actually just enjoy it. The only time I get more stressed now is when I get really strong symptoms and it makes me feel pregnant, and obviously when AF arrives it's very disheartening. x

I get tonnes of symptoms too! It honestly drives me nuts. And the time when I did get pregs in July, I actually had very few symptoms (but then that ended badly so perhaps lack of symptoms was due to a problem??). It's like some cruel joke my body likes to play! I've concluded that it might be the drop in hormones that happens when there is no fertilised egg that is actually causing my symptoms 🤷‍♀️ Who knows. Such a head f*ck though xx
MrsShaw2 · 23/10/2020 08:58

MgW1 · 23/10/2020 08:45

@SarahMumof1DS
Oh tell me about it ! I have to have stuff to donto occupy myself. I am emulsioning the little bedroom , I cant ask my husband to do it because he will make such a mess!!! I think men deliberately balls jobs up so you dont ask them 🤷‍♀️!!!
I dont know If i ovulated again this month as my temperature has not budged!!!!?!?!

Bmeggar · 23/10/2020 08:30

Hi all, premature for some of you (keeping fingers crossed for all!!) but if anyone is out of the game for Oct, I've just set up a November bus. I've never set up a thread before so hope it works! 🤞🤷‍♀️xx

SarahMumof1DS · 23/10/2020 00:42

Hi @MgW1 I'm CD27.
You have to create a new thread for next months bus but anyone can do it. It just happened to be me this month 🤗. It got to 4 days into October before we realised we should start a new thread and then anyone who was still waiting AF just joined the new Bus with us.

Sadly I don't have much plans for the weekend as that's what my life has become now 🤪. I wouldn't know what day of the week it was and sometimes find myself having an early night and realising it's Saturday night! Haha!

Where is everyone at re : ttc this month? What cycle day are you on and what are your plans this weekend? P.s does the group rename to ttc November after this month ? 🤔 xx

The pic is slightly blurred , difficult to tell! Take another pic?

ACNass · 22/10/2020 20:04

Hi ladies, I did a test today bc the waiting got the best of me. I'm either 9 or 10 DPO. Does anyone see a super faint line here or are my eyes playing tricks? I put an arrow where I think I see it. I have a few more tests so will test again over the next few days

@MamaPheebz, @MgW1 and @ValliBec thanks, it’s good to know that it’s quite common not to keep it a secret! I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve all experienced losses, wishing you the best of luck TTC your rainbow babies Flowers

@Sunflowers81 I’ve just downloaded the premom app and I’m going to start tracking my temp and using OPKs - it lets you log it all in the same place so I think it’ll be quite a good one to use! Thought I was doing plenty just tracking my cycles but it seems that’s not the case 😂

@SarahMumof1DS fingers crossed that AF doesn’t show up Smile I was just talking to a friend the other day about mindset and how it can affect TTC, and I think it’s something I need to bear in mind as I can definitely see myself being one of those women that stress so much about it that it doesn’t happen! x

MgW1 · 22/10/2020 18:26

@Sunflowers81
Yes they sent me home , you had to wait for a natural miscarriage and if nothing happened within 2 weeks they would prescribe medication and if still nothing then d&c. That is York hospital though , may be different in other parts of the country. Anyway, i have my off days still but positive for the future , hoping to catch on by February which would have been my due date 🤞🏻 I think it will make it much more bearable.
@SarahMumof1DS
Thank you , fingers crossed for you too 🤞🏻 xx

SarahMumof1DS · 22/10/2020 14:26

@MgW1 I'm very sorry for your loss, that's so sad and terrible for you to go through. I wish you all the luck for your BFP and sticky bean xx

Sunflowers81 · 22/10/2020 14:20

@MgW1 Thank you, that's really helpful.
Oh no, the hospital just sent you home? Two weeks is a long time to be bleeding, and going through it all, you poor thing. I'm sorry you felt so down, and I'm not surprised at all, a miscarriage is traumatic and it takes quite a while to feel even ok again. Lots of self care is needed, then and now. xx

@SarahMumof1DS Thank you, lots of baby dust to you too. xx

SarahMumof1DS · 22/10/2020 11:11

@MamaPheebz I'm glad you got your positive ov. I get my ov pains early morning lately in my sleep and wakes me up. Hope you have a sane TWW and got my fx for you x

@ValliBec @Sunflowers81 @MamaPheebz @redpeppersoup. @Theawkwardblonde, thank you all for your kind words and support. It really makes a difference when each day is like a minefield. It's been so stressful with what's happened but we're getting through it despite the bad days that feel like a major setback. I don't get much time for myself but my little really keeps me going so that's a blessing.
Strangely though, It has been a nice break from TTC which has actually helped my outlook on how I want to ttc going forward, with my mindset (if we do get to that point).

I felt so bloated in the night and my belly looks big today. I reckon AF will be here soon. My temp went back up this morning a little so still might have a chance but usually around cd26 it starts to decline before AF.

Really appreciate the support on this forum. Sending baby dust to you all for your BFPs. ❤️xx

@Sunflowers81
Thank you for the message, I just take seven seas but will try vitobiotics pre conception when ( and if) I get AF. They have good reviews. Also the preceive and conceive plus have good reviews but a bit more expensive. My husband is on the good all rounder vitabiotics 'well man'. It has high levels of vit B12. He says it makes his urine bright yellow so dont know if it filled with more vitamins than necessary and its the body getting rid of it or what .... I am not sure.
Yes its been a really difficult time , I was off work for quite a few weeks because I felt so down. As soon as it happened I just felt that it must not have been quite right and there must have been an abnormality and then the hormones kicked in and I was an emotional mess! Its was also a very traumatic experience just to be sent home with a leaflet as I would have preferred a D&C so I could be assured that at 12 weeks everything had come away, but because of covid its wasnt possible. Anyway , I didnt get an infection and bleeding stopped after 2 weeks. I dont feel my cycle has properly regulated itself , I maybe rushing nature using pre-seed now for next few days but only time will tell if its too early. Xx

Sunflowers81 · 22/10/2020 09:48

@SarahMumof1DS I'm so sorry to hear that about DH, that must be so hard for you.
I really hope you guys get some answers soon and things can get back to normal. Take care of yourself in the meantime.
Bloating Is the worst! It's so uncomfortable! I hope it goes soon.

Hey @gracie2307 That's great news! oooh a facial will be amazing! Sorry to hear about the acne, my skin acts up around af time, like we need any extra hassle!
I won't quit coffee now either, gosh I need it too!

A/F has arrived properly now, very heavy as usual. I don't feel so bad about it as I have so much support here. It's wonderful to have this place, and to know that you guys are in this with me.

@MamaPheebz your lines look great! I hated the 2ww too! Do lots of lovely things for yourself to take your mind off it. Sending lots of baby dust your way.

@MgW1 welcome to the thread. I'm so sorry to hear about your m/c. That's so sad.
How are you doing now?
I had a m/c in 2014 and again in march this year.
I love the name jizz pills! Your DH is brilliant! I asked my partner if he wanted to take vitamins last night, I'm going to call them jizz pills now, he will love that!

Ladies which is the best app to use please? I would like to do some kind of charting this month. And which vitamins (and jizz pills, haha!) should we be taking?

MgW1 · 22/10/2020 09:39

@Emc16x
I do not know much about fertility clinics , its surely a step in the right direction if you have been trying a while. Has your G.P prescribed medication for hormones etc ? Or does that come after ? They will assess both you and your husband I guess.
An old colleague of mine tried for a long time , had IVF successfully and then went on to conceive naturally - she thought it was stress the first time round that effected her. Xxx

ValliBec · 22/10/2020 09:02

@redpeppersoup morning! I wouldn’t worry about keeping things to yourself, it helps to have a good vent and get these things off your chest! That’s what friends are there for, whether they like it or not 😛
@MgW1 I feel for you having to go through that scan alone 😒 I was also alone when I found out I had miscarried (started bleeding while DH was at work so went by myself to the hospital) and it’s so hard!! I was crying in the lift while old people were being wheeled in on beds wondering what was going on 🤦‍♀️ On a happier note, I love your husband’s name for his vitamins - you’ve got to inject a bit of fun into this whole darn thing! I might start calling my DH’s vitamin tablets the same 😂
