@Kg87
Ah really .... I have never been that lucky. Id say have fun trying but pre seed kills the moment a bit , it did for me too !
!! 🤣
It sounds like your getting there though so hopefully we will have good news soon xxx

MgW1 · 29/10/2020 08:02

@sophiemelissa
I can see a line but v.v.v. faint !!!
Try saturday and I think 🤞🏻 your husband may be more convinced?!! X

Kg87 · 29/10/2020 08:00

@MgW1 yeah I’ve had some cramps again this morning and an upset stomach. I don’t recall getting cramps at this stage before but it could be nothing. Ah wow losing a stone would be amazing! My husband also wants to lose a bit of weight, I’d imagine if he stopped drinking alcohol it would really help him but it’s so hard to put your life on hold when you don’t know how long it’s going to take to conceive! Yeah I’ve been prescribed Letrozole for my next cycle which I’m picking up next week if after my progesterone blood test Monday to 100% confirm that I’ve ovulated, I’m hoping I did or I’ll feel a bit silly symptom spotting this week 😂 it really is crazy that people fall pregnant by accident! All 4 of my best friends have and it’s baffling!

sophiemelissa · 29/10/2020 07:28

Ah I got impatient this morning and tested using a clear blue early response - I am roughly 8-9 dpo

I did it through midstream and got wee on the windows annoyingly but I can still see a line - husband isn’t too sure!!

What do you think?! So hard to get a good picture 🙈

@Kg87
Hi
Just had some cramps and pelvic pain. I have had cranos in past when been pregnant but only.previously noticed in week lead up to AF time. Not noticed them so soon post ovulation so not sure. Its good that you didnt have to wait 12 month before fertility clinic referral and sounds like they are monitoring you. Will they prescribe any medication if necessary ?
My husband and I are abstaining from alcohol next month - he has developed a beer belly and we are both a lot more unfit than we were when we conceived son 5 yrs ago - been looking at old pictures on fb and I was horrified ! So its healthy eating - i reckon we can lose a stone each in November 💪 xxx

Emc16x · 28/10/2020 21:15

I tested again this morning. Another BFN. don’t think I’m going to join the November Bus. I need to take a break from tracking...testing...the let downs.

I need my cycles to become regular. I’m convinced the depo injection is still in my system. So I’m going to continue to lose weight (as apparently that helps get it out) and just enjoy life with my DH. We’re snapping at each other, and really sick and tired of TTC - it’s just not fun anymore. I’m going to join back in after we’ve been to the fertility clinic in January.

Thank you everybody who has been so supportive. I hope to NOT see you on next bus I join as I want you all to get your BFPs before that time. Sending all the baby dust in the world. You’re all amazing and true warriors Xxx

Theawkwardblonde · 28/10/2020 21:05

@Emc16x I don't get the Facebook thing. People just share far too much!
No mention of fertility clinic yet. I think they will wait to see what happens re my rearranged blood test. Fingers crossed they don't fluff it up again!

SunnydazeQ · 28/10/2020 18:52

@MgW1 and @MamaPheebz thank you for replying and good to know I'm not the only one with a change of cycle. Sorry to hear about your losses and wishing baby dust for BFPs next month. Xx

@SarahMumof1DS so sorry to hear AF arrived. Was really rooting for you. Hope it happens quickly when you and hubby are ready. x Very cool about your hubby's hobby :) with the trainers and sounds like upcycling runs in the family. Love that! I am all about reusing and recycling.

@jessicalouise10 wow congratulations!! How wonderful!! Must have been a lovely surprise 🎉

For all the ladies waiting to test, just a few more days to go for this bus and everyone else, will see you on the Nov bus xx

Kg87 · 28/10/2020 18:18

@MgW1 yeah I think preseed is quite good! I thought it was quite runny so didn’t use as much as it suggests on the box, I think it kills the mood a bit but it does suggest to put it in approx 15 mins before but even then it can feel a bit too organised lol. We used it every day 2 days before ovulation and ovulation day, so I’m hoping that worked as I barely noticed any EWCM myself. I had a few cramps this morning and I’ve been knackered and hungry all day but that’s nothing new 😂 what about you?

MgW1 · 28/10/2020 16:57

@Kg87
Hi, have you just started using pre-seed ? I got some this month as well! I think I used it late though , day after (finally!!) positive opk - I didnt know if ovulation day is too late ? My positive way negative by the afternoon. Anyway we shall see , was amazed by all the positive reviews for it tbh so thought why not give it a bash. My hornones may get back to nirmality by next month so not need it but no harm in using it. Have you had any cramps or anything? Xx

Kg87 · 28/10/2020 12:38

@MgW1 well it now looks like it did post my original reply, so now there are two posts from me 🙈🙈😂

Kg87 · 28/10/2020 12:35

@MgW1 for some strange reason my reply didn’t post here earlier this morning! Yeah I was testing 3 times a day so totally get what you mean! I tried temping a while back but the thermometer I got wasn’t accurate enough so if this isn’t the month for me then I’ll defo get a more accurate one for the next cycle. I don’t really get much EWCM, I’m wondering if it’s because I might not be ovulating, we use Preseed instead which kills the mood a bit but hoping it’s worked 🤞🏼 My GP referred me to the NHS fertility clinic after we had been trying for around 6 months which I was so pleased about, we started cycle monitoring straight away and they found ive got PCOS which was a shock as I’d had a scan in Feb and everything was fine, I’m pleased they found it now though rather than trying for a year and finding out I wasn’t ovulating the whole time! If this cycle doesn’t work out I’m starting Letrozole next time to induce ovulation, really hoping for a BFP before Christmas!

Kg87 · 28/10/2020 08:45

@MgW1 yeah I completely understand how obsessive OPKs can make you, I was testing 3 times a day! I started temping one month and then realised the thermometer I got wasn’t accurate enough and I haven’t got another one yet, I’m hoping I won’t need to but I defo will if AF comes. I don’t really get much EWCM ever so I use preseed lube, takes the fun out of DTD sometimes though 🙈 My GP referred me to the NHS fertility clinic way before the recommend 12 months which was nice of her, so the fertility doctor started me on cycle monitoring in October where they assess the progress of your egg development and ovulation and take blood tests etc. This was how they diagnosed PCOS which was a shock as id already had a scan in Feb when I had bizarre cycles and the scan showed everything was fine inside. Either way I’m just pleased things are progressing for me as I know it can take months for women to be taken seriously, especially when they know something is wrong. So interesting looking at your ovaries and eggs on screen 😂 Getting cramps this morning and wondering what they mean, this TWW is going to drag I can tell! 😂

MgW1 · 28/10/2020 08:25

@Kg87
Morning! I got some this month, got obsessed with them , test 4 times one day! So not using them again because I think they will stress me out! Im recording my temp on the pre - mom app but only just started that this month. I have noticed a rise in temp though but only v.subtle. Its quite common after mc ( depending how far along it occured) not to get any EWCM which is what has happened to me 🤔 I think when I notice it again mid cycle Il know things are back to normal. How did you arrange the scan? Through GP? Xx

Kg87 · 28/10/2020 08:04

@MgW1 ahh that’s good that you’re ready again, I can’t even imagine how that must feel when that happens. Yeah I think I’ll test around 7th Nov (12DPO) just because I’m very impatient 😂 what about you? Yes I used OPKs but I ovulated around CD22 so i was starting to think it wasn’t going to happen this month but I had a positive on Sunday just gone and then back to negative on Monday, I also had my cycle monitoring scan on Monday and the doctor said there was evidence I have ovulated. I always find OPKs quite stressful and disheartening, I never get a build up - it’s either positive or not so it’s hard to catch, what about you?

MgW1 · 27/10/2020 21:32

P.s i am not an alcoholic! Lol Just enjoy a few glasses on a weekend until positive test! 😊 given up caffeine now completely due to what iv read which i didnt do before , just cut down to 1 cup in the past xx

MgW1 · 27/10/2020 21:29

@MamaPheebz
Hi , i ditiched them because I have got a bit obsessed with testing! Just doing my own way of taking my vits, dtd every other day mid month x4 times , enjoying my wines and waiting for mother nature to be kind to me! Only just started trying again this month. I have 17 yr old daughter , 6 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son. Got broody earlier this year with the thought of my son going to school! So suggested to my husband that we have another! ( Ds is 40) Anyway to my suprise he was up for it! Got preg 2nd month and sadly had mc @ 3 months later. So here we are giving it another bash ... and thats me , fingers crossed for 2021 bundle 🤞🏻🤞🏻 xx

MamaPheebz · 27/10/2020 20:34

@MgW1
I’m 9dpo (i think... opks still confuse me) and so fed up of the 2WW. I’ve been testing with those cheap internet tests and no positive yet... although i think the tests are crap so can’t imagine one will show a faint line early anyway. They showed negative when i got a faint positive on my first response last time so not sure why I am tormenting myself with them.
Have you got any other children?

MgW1 · 27/10/2020 20:08

@kg87
Thank you, at the time we were devestated but thinking future now and its given me a bit of a boost. I am expecting it to take up to 12 months as I am older (37) and I think my body is at the back end of getting over the mc , psychologically I feel ready though now so 🤞🏻, good luck , will you test prior to Af due date or wait ? Did you use OPK's ? I did but binned what I had left over 🙄 xx

Kg87 · 27/10/2020 19:48

@MgW1 ahh I’m sorry to hear about your MC. Yes you defo have to be in it to win it, this month feels like the first time I can confidently say we’ve DTD at the exact right time as we made sure we did every day during the fertile window, fingers crossed we both get our BFP 🤞🏼🤞🏼

MgW1 · 27/10/2020 19:37

@Kg87
5dpo , first month of trying following mc. Had some cramps and back ache yesterday but nothing today , I don't think il catch on straight away , but you never know , you have to be 'innit to win it ' I guess 🤞🏻
@GeorgiaMcGraw I know what you mean about mood killers! I have a 17 year old ( makes me sound geriatric !!) So i know what it must be like living with your M.I.L , you can't have the odd weekend or night away at the mo either can you - nightmare!!!! Xxx

GeorgiaMcGraw · 27/10/2020 19:24

Hello all, hope you don't mind me joining in. I've just joined mumsnet and still get confused by all the acronyms, but I'll do my best. DH and I are TTC, it's only our third month but i'm more anxious about it than I expected. It's hard for us to find time alone as my mother lives with us and works from home. Mood killer, you know? It'll be nice to be able to talk to someone else about this, i don't feel like my friends would want to hear about it tbh. Hope you're all having a nice evening x

Kg87 · 27/10/2020 19:23

@MgW1 hiya! Just started the TWW, I’m 1DPO, what about you?

MgW1 · 27/10/2020 19:16

Anyone on here currently on TWW? And if so what dpo? Xx

Emc16x · 27/10/2020 18:55

@Theawkwardblonde I know how you feel. I feel exactly the same with my friend. Her 12 week scan is in two weeks and then the announcement will be all over Facebook which I know will make me so sad. Happy for them. Sad for us. Feel so much guilt for feeling so annoyed at her.

Have your docs mentioned anything about fertility clinic yet?? I’ve been looking at private fertility clinics as I feel like January is forever away. I know it isn’t. Xx
