Hi @MrsLauraM I am temping and I have a 2 year old who wakes up most nights between 1-3 times a night. I still manage to see a shift change to indicate my ovulation and my charts are pretty good. I usually get a really obvious shift change the day after ovulation. So basically yes I still get good charts even when my sleep is broken. I would temp for at least 3 months to see if you get some decent charts and shift changes. It's always good to have to refer to.

Is anyone temping but has regular broken sleep and, if so, does temping still work for you? I want to temp to see if I’m actually ovulating but I have a puppy who wakes in the night to be let out for a wee so I can’t guarantee I will always have the solid 3/4 hours sleep before taking temp. Am I wasting my time?

@adogisforlife91 AF is due on the 20th! Is that the same as you? Fingers crossed for you!! 🤞🏼 I'm going to try and wait til Friday to test again but knowing me I will tomorrow first thing. Just incase!

adogisforlife91 · 14/10/2020 19:44

@jessicalouise10 that looks promising, good luck! I'm sure it was you who was due AF the same day as me? I've managed to hold off for now but my tests arrived in the post today so think I'm going to have to test tomorrow morning. I haven't had much in the way of symptoms, have been feeling a bit nauseous in the afternoon the last few days but thats it so trying not to get my hopes up

Purpleflowers21 · 14/10/2020 19:35

Oh wow really. Good luck for tomorrow! Let us know how you get on. I’m not getting my hopes up too much as it’s my first cycle ttc and first cycle off the pill, also I’m only 6dpo so not sure if I would get any symptoms yet anyways. But aswell as the saliva thing I’ve been weeing sooo much today haha x

bez91 · 14/10/2020 19:22

@Purpleflowers21 Yes I got the excessive saliva too last month when I got a BFP. I also remember it when I was pregnant with my DD. I have it this time round too, testing tomorrow 🤞🏼

PurplePops · 14/10/2020 18:32

@jessicalouise10 I can see the line too! Congratulations!!! 🎉 xx

SparkyLauz · 14/10/2020 18:13

Not sure why the previous comments didn't load so no need to reply @jessicalouise10! Sorry! X

SparkyLauz · 14/10/2020 18:11

@jessicalouise10 there is definitely a faint line there! How many dpo are you?

jessicalouise10 · 14/10/2020 18:08

Thankyou @KatieLooLa & @SunnydazeQ , not getting my hopes up, will keep testing next few days. Only 9DPO but curiosity got the better of me after some funny feeling cramps!

gracie2307 · 14/10/2020 18:00

Thank you @SunnydazeQ! Yeah im hoping if I need it next cycle to use less tests now as the app kept telling me to test quite early. Hows your month going for you? Xx

KatieLooLa · 14/10/2020 17:58

@jessicalouise10
I can see a very faint line but I’d test again in a couple days just to be sure as it might be an evaporation line. Fingers crossed for you though x

SunnydazeQ · 14/10/2020 17:41

@BuildingThings welcome! I'm on my 6th cycle and learnt so much from the Mumsnet forums. Great place to start! Best of luck and wishing you a quick TTC journey before the BFP :)

SunnydazeQ · 14/10/2020 17:38

@jessicalouise10 yes I can see that line!! Looks like congratulations are in order 🎉 How many dpo are you?

SunnydazeQ · 14/10/2020 17:38

@gracie2307 and @SparkyLauz yes that's the same one I use. It has worked perfectly for me and after the initial use, you really only need 3 to 4 sticks a month if your cycle is regular.

jessicalouise10 · 14/10/2020 16:15

Am I mental or is there something there?!

gracie2307 · 14/10/2020 13:53

@SparkyLauz, That's the same system I use! It took a while for the tests to register a flashing smiling face (the one that monitors estrogen rise) as I kept going from nothing to a peak smiley and was getting concerned. This month, I did get a flashing smiley then a peak static smiley and I was so happy! Haha its amazing at the little TTC things I get excited about now!

Bless you, thats a good sign! Keeping everything crossed for you. Im still cramping, not loads, just little twinges. Hopefully its a sign and not PMS related xx

SparkyLauz · 14/10/2020 12:52

@Gracie2307

I've just been using clearblue digital it comes with 20 sticks and when you get the smiley face I think that means ovulation will happen within the next 48 hours. So only really use about 3 sticks a month!

Feeling absolutely exhausted today, hoping this is a sign!

gracie2307 · 14/10/2020 12:00

Hi @SunnydazeQ! Please can I ask - is that the clearblue digital opk sticks with Bluetooth or the monitor? Ive started using the digital sticks with Bluetooth connection to the app but would be curious to know which one worked for you? Thank you! X

BuildingThings · 14/10/2020 11:46

Hi all!
I hope I can join you!
I'm 32 and on CD14 of my first cycle TTC #1. That was weird to type...
Would be nice to feel part of a community and learn from all of you as I am coming into it a bit green and craving to have conversations like this at the moment :)

LisaLx · 14/10/2020 11:02

I'm feeling a little bit sick this morning. Don't want to build my hopes up as I'm still 7 days from when my period would be due xx

Purpleflowers21 · 14/10/2020 10:51

Morning everyone!
I currently 6dpo (I think) and all morning have had a mouth full of saliva 🙈 I’m probably thinking too much into it but has anyone else experienced this? Xx

Rachy10 · 14/10/2020 09:15

Hi all. I’m new to the site and this is my first post. I have been ttc for over 5 years now. 1 failed IVF and currently on my 6th month of clomid. Last few days I have had light pink spotting, period is due in 4 days. I have never had this before. Hoping it could be implantation bleeding? Wishful thinking probably.... might do an early detection test tomorrow. Wish me luck!

SunnydazeQ · 14/10/2020 08:19

Hi @ACNass have you tried ClearBlue digital ovulation kit? It's a little bit pricey but takes the guesswork out. I've been using it since July and got pregnant in Sep, albeit not a sticky bean. A box of 20 last me about 3 months. Might be worth getting it to track your cycle better.

ACNass · 13/10/2020 22:35

@PurplePops I had twinges in my lower abdomen last week and the last couple days I've had pain from a right ovarian cyst that I get with every menstrual cycle. That made me think I was ovulating but with every OPK being negative I'm just so confused. It's hard to stay hopeful! And it's crazy because I'm only on cycle 1!
