@KatieLooLa I'm glad you're doing better and that you're OH got some work. I hope your Dad is ok as can be too. Yeah maybe see how you go with regards to the supplements.

I'm ok thanks. DH is doing better but suffering with anxiety and depression after what happened so having to try and keep his spirits up.
I haven't been taking much of the Pregnacare this month as we aren't actively trying but I should keep taking them. x

Hi @Sunflowers81

Ooh good luck! 🤞 its so difficult when cycles vary. Mine normally range from 28, 30 to 34! I have been impatient and have been early testing in the AM for the past few days but nothing so far. My FF app says to 'officially' test from Sunday when AF is due. Im about dp11 today so will be dpo13 by Sunday. We shall have to see where we are on Sunday!

I do worry sometimes my lutueal phase can be quite short as it sometimes can be around 10 days or less, has anyone else had this? Xx

Tabbycat92 · 16/10/2020 13:04

Hello all.
New to this thread.
TTC baby no.2 ☺️ we were planning to wait until December as wanted a Sept baby, but I'm impatient.
DTD last night. Fingers crossed.
Xx

Sunflowers81 · 16/10/2020 13:04

Congratulations @Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou, amazing news, and so encouraging!

Hi @gracie2307 I'm due on Monday, well that would be day 26, and my fitbit predicted that I would be due then. My cycles have varied from 28, 21 and 26 days recently, so it's hard to tell!
How are you feeling? Do you know when you will test? Thank you, wishing you lots of luck and babydust too! xx
Hey @Emc16x we are so in the same boat! How are you feeling?
I will test on sunday but I'm itching to test sooner! How about you? xx

Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou · 16/10/2020 12:45

That’s for all your messages, so shocked as it was the first month of trying for baby #2 and it wasn’t quick like that at all the first time, plus my cycles have become so bloody long since giving up breastfeeding a few months ago so today is cycle day 34, but the last few months I’ve had cycles that were 27 days, 37 days, 35 days etc. I used the cheap ovulation strips so knew when I was ovulating but then waiting to test felt like it would never end as I didn’t really know when to expect AF. Today was 2 weeks since the positive ovulation test so just went for it and didn’t expect it. I’m trying not to get too excited as I’ve had a miscarriage in the past so know that it’s still early days .

KatieLooLa · 16/10/2020 12:28

While I’m here I want to know if there is such a thing as a false BFP?
Few months ago (probably around May) I got a faint but very noticeable line on a pink dye test, took a Clearblue digital test later the same day and got “not pregnant” then AF came a few days later.
So would like some opinions on if it was just a duff test or if maybe I had a MC and was too early to really notice.
TIA x

KatieLooLa · 16/10/2020 12:21

@Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou congratulations on your BFP! Wish you all the best x

Merrz · 16/10/2020 11:57

Hi Ladies, can I join. 5 dpo, cycle 5 ttc baby no 2. We dtd loads over fertile week this cycle so really hoping for a bfp. Going to try and hold off testing until af is due though.

PurplePops · 16/10/2020 11:50

Its so lovely seeing you all get BFPs! 🎉
I'm on CD13, haven't even had a faint line on OPK yet but will keep testing.. had quite a bit of spotting this month too so not feeling optimistic, I did expect the first month off the pill to be a bit all over the place tbh xx

Emc16x · 16/10/2020 11:14

@Sunflowers81 I’m in the exact same boat. No positive opks but I had ewcm, ovulation cramps etc. I don’t have anybody to speak to either so it’s so amazing to have this community. Have you decided on a date for testing? Xx

gracie2307 · 16/10/2020 11:07

Thank you @SunnydazeQ I know, I am grateful to have a bit of a distraction this weekend! Are you doing anything nice this weekend? X

gracie2307 · 16/10/2020 10:58

Hi @Sunflowers81

Thank you for sharing your story. Im so sorry to hear about your MCs.

I feel you - the 2ww is so hard and its important to talk to others. I only joined the forum this week and already feel so much better talking to others going through the same journey. It sounds like you had good timing and its encouraging that you are experiencing symptoms. Wishing you lots of luck for this weekend, when is your AF due? Im due on Sunday, fingers crossed for us both!! Smile xxx

gracie2307 · 16/10/2020 10:51

Congratulations @Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou!! Fantastic news xx

Sunflowers81 · 16/10/2020 10:16

Hi all,
I'm in the 2ww, not sure exactly when ovulation was as I didn't get a positive on a test, but did have ovulation cramps. DTD plenty around when ovulation should have been. (could have been 5th Oct) LMP was 23.9. Hoping to test this weekend.
Been feeling very bloated, had increasing fatigue this week, sore boobs and some nausea.
I've had two miscarriages in the past, hoping for a sticky bean this time.
Really needed somewhere to talk, I hugely underestimated how hard the TWW is, and haven't told friends or family what's going on.
Sending baby dust to everyone!

SparkyLauz · 16/10/2020 09:38

@Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou

Thats amazing, congratulations !!

KatieLooLa · 16/10/2020 09:37

Hey @SarahMumof1DS
Yeah doing better now, OH has gotten some work.... same place as me, not exactly what we wanted but pays the bills!
Was thinking of trying the pregnacare conception supplements for both of us, but maybe try another month without first. How are you doing? X

Kg87 · 16/10/2020 09:34

Does anyone have any advice/experience on conceiving with PCOS? I have just been diagnosed with this yesterday at my 2nd cycle monitoring scan. The doctor is always in a rush and all she told me is that I have PCOS based on my ultrasound where she could see around 20 follicle and my anti mullerian test came back as ‘35’ not sure what that means and she didn’t explain either.. I’ve asked what the next steps are and she said we can’t do anything right now we need to complete the first cycle monitoring and go from there. Quite upset with this as its just been sprung on me and I have never had any physical symptoms of PCOS. Hoping to hear some TTC success stories if anyone has any!

SunnydazeQ · 16/10/2020 09:32

@Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou congratulations!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Wishing you only wonderful things from here on.

@jessicalouise10 sending positivity your way and you're not out until AF arrives. Hang in there!! 🤞

@gracie2307 that book sounds great and something to keep you busy!! Love the name too LOL Not long for testing and really hoping for a BFP for you xx Enjoy dinner with your friends as keeping busy during TTC makes the time go quickly 😊

BuildingThings · 16/10/2020 09:31

@danigrace oh you are too good! Since the lockdown happened our weekend bottle(s) of wine has definetly been extended into the week Wink

@adogisforlife91 that’s so good to hear! I shouldn’t feel guilty and will (try to) continue to enjoy my life! congratulations on your BFP! x

@Dsr87 that's an amazing way of telling your partner i’ve got my fingers crossed for you! Also, I think I should be able to test on the 27th (day after you), but I will try not to as it’s my first month trying and I have a strange feeling it won’t happen this month.

Congratulations @Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou Amazing news!

Kg87 · 16/10/2020 09:28

@Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou congratulations!! 🎉

Theawkwardblonde · 16/10/2020 09:24

@Emc16x hey! I'm in the dreaded 2ww and waiting on my blood test results. I'm like you-said I wasn't going to track but was doing 2 opks daily and started taking vitamins again this month.
I get the raging-I'm angry too and I'm already in the mindset it'll be a negative. AF due in 5 days and feel no different to any other month. When I had my chemicals I had symptoms by now! Grrr!!! 😡😡

Emc16x · 16/10/2020 09:21

@Dsr87 that idea just brought a tear to my eye. Sounds amazing. Wishing you all the luck in the world. Xxx

Congratulations to everyone with BFPs this month it’s so refreshing to see!! So happy for you all!!

@Theawkwardblonde how is it going? Considering I wasn’t tracking I’m now doing two opks a day. Argh it’s getting expensive!! I don’t think I’m even ovulating this month. I took 5 clomid tablets too. Absolutely raging. I’ve gone from upset to just angry!! Xxx

Purpleflowers21 · 16/10/2020 08:50

@Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou congratulations!! How soon did you test? Xx

Dsr87 · 16/10/2020 08:39

@Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou
congratulations!!!!!

Dsr87 · 16/10/2020 08:38

@BuildingThings I had a glass last night. still enjoy yourself, possibly not putting a huge amount of stress on ourselves may help and let us relax.
I'm hoping for a positive at the end of the month. I'm due to do a test the morning of he 26th. my partner bought us a helicopter ride with prosecco and chocolates which was a Christmas present. but due to covid it got put back. I'm hoping that morning t do a set and tell him after we've landed. I thought I would be a memorable experience any way but even more special if I was and it'll be the last alcoholic drink il have if I am lol. so a huge fingers crossed.
