Hey @gracie2307 I’m in the exact same boat, I had a negative test this morning, CD26, but no af symptoms, so we’re kind of in limbo. I’ve been having kind of stabby, pulling sensations around my uterus and ovaries.
Going to have a relaxing day, and go for a walk in the countryside to take my mind off it. What are you up to today? x

Farfaraway1 · 18/10/2020 09:27

Thank you @SarahMumof1DS 😘 💖 it’s definitely been a journey! Hopefully with a beautiful rainbow baby waiting at the end of it...

kimberley94 · 18/10/2020 09:22

Good morning ladies,

Just hoping back on the bus if you all don’t mind, 12dpo, AF due in 2 days don’t feel like she’s coming 🤷🏼‍♀️ I had a CP last month, it has been lovely to read all your comments and I wish everyone the best of luck for this cycle or for the next, sending positive sticky baby vibes! X

SarahMumof1DS · 18/10/2020 09:15

@Theawkwardblonde oh I'm so sorry that you're getting to the point of feeling so down. It's a lot to deal with and 14 months must feel like a lifetime. Please don't give up hope. Have you tried stopping tracking and just DTD regularly? I've heard of so many stories of people who gave up trying and fell pregnant. And actually my second cousins wife adopted two girls as was told she couldn't conceive and then one day fell pregnant naturally. I know it's cliche and I hope you don't think I'm being patronising, but if you're at the point of giving up then maybe it's an option?
I don't blame you for getting the wine out! And even with AF Symptoms you're not out yet! Sending you hugs and keeping my fx for you 😊.

Me and DH haven't been officially trying this month but he did want to DTD a couple of times and we didn't use protection and the latter time was just outside my fertile window. Then because I haven't been tracking this month only temping, I ended up having a gradual temp rise after ov and now I don't know when I actually ovulated. So now I don't know if there's a chance that I could be this month depending on when I did actually ov. If I ov'd around my usual date then its about 4-5 days we DTD before ov. So I guess there could be a chance.

@Farfaraway1 I'm sorry to read about all that you've been through and how positive you're being despite it. Lots of baby dust to you and hope you get your well deserved sticky bean this month! x

@danigrace thank you for replying. Wow that’s interesting, would you mind if I asked what supplements you took that were similar to clomid? I don’t seem to have an issue with periods as I have one every month and they seem mostly quite regular. I just don’t know if I’m ovulating as Ive had multiple surges a month one time and they’re very short, that’s only when I don’t miss them!

gracie2307 · 18/10/2020 08:25

@SunnydazeQ how are you? Hope you are having a nice weekend? Xx

gracie2307 · 18/10/2020 08:25

@SparkyLauz hope you are ok, how are you feeling? Xx

gracie2307 · 18/10/2020 08:23

Hi @Sunflowers81! Hope you are okay? Thanks for your message. Nothing so far. Not even a sausage. AF hasnt turned up yet and normally I would feel really rubbish a couple of days before with PMS. So either I am having a longer cycle than predicted by my apps and AF is just lurking in the wings biding her sweet time or there's still a chance but trying to be pragmatic. Thought I saw a really, really faint line yesterday but after making DH inspect we concluded it was probably just evap lines and to stop squinting 🤣

Hows everything going for you? How are you feeling? Xx

Farfaraway1 · 18/10/2020 00:56

Hi ladies, can I join in please? I’m approx 8dpo and stupidly tested today only to get a BFN. I know it’s still early days so will try hold out and test again in a few days time if I can wait that long 😂 I have a feeling this month will be another no though..
I’ve been off the pill since Nov 2019, fell pregnant in Feb 2020 which I miscarried in April 2020 but turned out to be an incomplete miscarriage which wasn’t picked up until June so then had a D&C. Have had a CP since then as well. I’ve also had an ectopic a few years back and as a result of that I now only have one tube. I am really lucky to already have 2 beautiful boys and I’m super grateful for them. I would just love to be a mum of 3 so TTC for nearly a year has been quite hard and full of ups and downs. Although I don’t post much on mumsnet I get so much support from it 💖
Congrats to those with BFP’s! And baby dust to those trying and waiting xx

Dogmum13 · 18/10/2020 00:09

@Theawkwardblonde I'm starting cycle #12 in 5 days (Thursday) so I'm in a similar boat to you. We will be having a chat with our gp after Christmas if no joy by then

Theawkwardblonde · 17/10/2020 23:51

@SarahMumof1DS this is the first lot of bloods I've ever had done for fertility so it's disheartened me a bit.
Unfortunately I'm due AF in 4 days and got all my textbook AF signs so I'm 100% certain it's another BFN. Can't believe it'll be me starting cycle 14 TTC 😞 I've got 3 close friends pregnant, 1 due any day now and my colleague heavily pregnant so there's no escape. Doesn't help DH can't get SA done either due to NHS issues.
Conversations have been had around ivf and adoption but if I'm honest, if I don't get pregnant after 18 months I think I'll just resign to the fact it'll never happen. Like natures way of saying "nope" if that names sense. Very depressing! Can tell I've turned to the wine tonight 😂

Sunflowers81 · 17/10/2020 22:59

@gracie2307 how are your tests going? Fingers crossed for a bfp for you tomorrow x

SarahMumof1DS · 17/10/2020 20:55

@Theawkwardblonde sorry to hear about your blood test issue. It's frustrating enough having to constantly wait let alone that happening. I've got my day 21 blood test on Monday and I hope they don't mess that up. Did your other earlier bloods come back ok?
Doctor said mine came back fine.
Keep some hope for BFP this month, I'll keep my fx for you. x

danigrace · 17/10/2020 19:44

@Theawkwardblonde oh no sorry to hear that, how frustrating! Is it for all the standard initial fertility testing?

@ACNass could you / have you done ovulation kits to confirm? I used to get pains midcycle with PCOS but wasn't always ovulating - sorry that's not overly helpful!

@Dogmum13 welcome! Fingers crossed for you!

Well my first period since having my 13 month old is tailing off today, hoping we get lucky like we did with DS2!!

ACNass · 17/10/2020 14:40

Hi again everyone. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with functional ovarian cysts? I get an ovarian cyst every month with my cycle. I'm not sure if it's a corpus luteal cyst or a follicular cyst. I get right sided ovarian pain in the middle of my cycle and that's how I know the cyst is there. Would that be a sign that I'm ovulating around that time?

Theawkwardblonde · 17/10/2020 14:15

So annoyed. Just received a letter in the post saying there was a problem with my day 21 bloods at the lab so need to rebook in. That's another month to get the right date.
I'm so frustrated as that's yet another setback as I know it'll be a bfn this month. I keep saying this but I'm really struggling with it all.

LittlePluto · 17/10/2020 08:50

Oh wow @danigrace, that's amazing what you've been able to do. Fingers crossed you have quick success this time too.

Hi @Dogmum13, welcome. Sorry to hear it might be a tricky road for you an OH, but sending lots of love and baby dust your way.

Dogmum13 · 17/10/2020 02:47

Hi all, I'd love to join. Ttc #1 cycle #11. We reckon we will have to get help though as partner only has one testicle and I've now been referred for suspected endo by my gp. Dread to think how long that waiting list is 🙄 We have started taking proceive recently in the hope it might do something for us

danigrace · 16/10/2020 21:39

Thank you @Sunflowers81 Smile

I took a daily 100mg Vitamin B6 from ovulation day to first day of period or +ve test to lengthen / strengthen luteal phase

Sunflowers81 · 16/10/2020 21:02

Thank you @danigrace! Your story is amazing, you did your own research and helped yourself, that Is so wonderful!
Fingers crossed for you for a quick conception this time too.

@gracie2307 I did have one cycle, the one before the last one, which was 21 days, so I think a I have a short luteal phase too. My last cycle was 26 days.

I also have a fibroid, but a specialist has checked it and said it wouldn’t affect a pregnancy, as it is actually poking by bladder, not poking in to the uterus, although it has distorted the shape of it.

A previous fibroid which has now been removed, probably did cause my first miscarriage. I was so glad when that was chopped off!

danigrace · 16/10/2020 19:28

@mbymoll welcome Smile I have always tested 10 dpo, still slightly early but can never resist by then!

@Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou @adogisforlife91 HUGE CONGRATULATIONS Flowers Flowers Flowers fabulous news!!

@Kg87 I have PCOS, quite severely and wasn't ovulating at all / had no cycle at all. I knew the waiting list and testing etc I'd have to go through before getting fertility help where I live was about a year - I switched up my diet and lifestyle and took various supplements I'd read were beneficial for PCOS and some that act similarly to clomid, I got my BFP the day before a letter advising I wasn't a good enough candidate for clomid and should consider going straight to IVF! That was DS1. Had one natural period when he was 15 months and that was DS2. Hoping for a repeat now DS2 is 13 months and I'm just finishing my first period since his birth!!

@Sunflowers81 sending lots of love and baby dust!!

@KatieLooLa I've seen people post about faint "false" positives on those, it is possible for various reasons (pcos type hormones, certain meds, evap lines etc.) but also possible it was a chemical. Fingers crossed for you for this month.

Welcome @Tabbycat92 & @LittlePluto !

We are another couple on the pregnacare his and hers conception vitamins - switched my breastfeeding supplements the day my cycle came back, have had them stashed in the cupboard for months waiting for the day!! Haha

Sending lots of happy thoughts and baby dust to all, especially those already in the 2ww!! Eek! Good luck ladies!

LittlePluto · 16/10/2020 18:56

Hi ladies, mind if I hop on the bus with you all?

Currently TTC for baby #2. We're on cycle 5 but, in all honesty, I know we've not been DTD enough to have had any success. Add to that some crazy cycle variations and I'm left with not really knowing or trusting when my fetile window is.

I'm pretty sure we've probably missed the boat again this month. Definitely not getting my hopes up. I guess I'm technically started TWW but I won't be testing unless I'm seriously late. Hello, anyway.

mbymoll · 16/10/2020 16:44

Congrats all 🥰 I'm going to be testing in about 8 days, that 2 days before AF due but I'm not 100% sure how accurate it is as it's my first period since my DS and I was irregular before him 🙈

SarahMumof1DS · 16/10/2020 15:41

Congratulations to all the BFPs! Xx
