@SparkyLauz I totally empathise and always think ahead when planning things. I wish I had more of a gung-ho attitude but I have been compared to Monica from Friends in terms of my obsession with planning/cleaning 😂🙈 so for me TTC was always going to be a challenge in trying to let go and leave something up to fate/biology. That's lovely that you are going to be a Bridesmaid, when is the wedding?

Yes definetley check out Wellman Conception for Men. Got then from Amazon, £7 for 30 days supply. Just good to supplement a healthy diet and ensure there arent any deficiancies. Xx

Congratulations @jessicalouise10!

Congratulations @kimberley94!

It's so lovely to hear good news!

@gracie2307 I'm sorry to hear that af arrived. It's so hard isn't it. I've started spotting, plus my temperature and my resting heart rate have all dropped, so af is on her way.
I cuddled up with my boyfriend last night and we watched the film "fighting with my family", it's on Netflix and a really good feel good movie. xx

SparkyLauz · 19/10/2020 13:51

@gracie2307

I was the same as you! On my birthday in April I told myself that by the next birthday I would be a mummy. How wrong I was lol. Also went bridesmaid dress shopping last month for my cousin and in my head i was debating on what size I should order in case I was pregnant for her wedding. So I ordered the next size up just in case 😂 Its amazing how far ahead we think about these things. Its all so unknown, thats what's the hard part about it.

Thankyou I'm going to! Haha. Yeah I tend to refrain from drinking during my TWW just in case. But when the spotting came on Saturday I thought bugger it im opening the prosecco 😂 its the only consolation about AF, being able to have a guilt-free drink!

I saw that post earlier too and think you're right about that, men are wired much differently. DH cycles about 3 or 4 times a week, he does mountain biking and goes for hours at a time. I've not seen those wellman conception but I will have a look into it though thanks xx

@Theawkwardblonde feel for you. I’m in the same boat. I stupidly took somebody else’s clomid this month to kick start ovulation, I’ve tested twice a day and nothing. I feel like giving up too. We have our 1st fertility clinic end of January. Can’t believe how long away that feels. I’m so sorry you feel this way. Where abouts in the north east are you. Maybe we can meet to vent!! Xxx

gracie2307 · 19/10/2020 13:47

Congratulations @kimberley94 🥳 lovely news! Xx
@gracie2307 your OH sounds like a lovely guy and it's important to be positive. Onwards and upwards xx Which cycle is this for you?

I love thrillers, suspense and horrors (but not gore). We watched I See You, The Invitation, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Silence, Unfriended Dark Wed. Also watched I Was Thinking About Ending Things but don't recommend it.

It's my fertile week from tomorrow so really looking forward to next week so I can start counting down TWW LOL crazy how we wish the time away. I decided to give up coffee from today so only doing decaff, fingers cross I last 🙈
Hi @SunnydazeQ

Thanks for your message. This will be cycle #5 now. Im taking seven seas trying for a baby tablets, cut down on alcohol/coffee, exercising more and using pre-seed. I am going to start accupuncture next week and see if that makes a difference. I know I need to chill out more but I find it so difficult to switch off sometimes.

Ooh, we are kindred spirits, I love horror/thrillers! I binge watched Haunting of Bly Manor last week, I loved it! Not as good as Hill House but I enjoyed it. I watched The Nun also on Amazon Prime which I hadnt seen before. Am watching The Third Day on Sky Atlantic with Jude Law. If you like Twin Peaks-esque TV shows, its a good one to get into.

Good luck with the caffeine! I am such an addict its so hard for me to cut down 🙈 I am keeping everything crossed for you for next week and its good that youve taken the time to chill in preparation for it xx

@kimberley94 congratulations, lucky girl xx

SparkyLauz · 19/10/2020 13:10

AF back with a vengeance today so definitely off the October bus for me :( was so positive about this being the month, and wanted that cute Christmas day announcement too for my family as this would be the first grandchild.
Just read through all recent posts and it seems quite a few of us in the same boat this month. Gutted for us all! Onto cycle 8 now, let's get some more positives on the November bus, who's with me? Xx

SunnydazeQ · 19/10/2020 12:13

@kimberley94 congratulations!! 🎉🎉🎉

SunnydazeQ · 19/10/2020 12:11

@Theawkwardblonde so sorry to hear you're going through such a hard time. Especially during these Covid times which is making things so much harder. Sending a virtual hug your way and definitely try to take care of yourself. Do something relaxing for yourself. Its crazy how no one ever told us how difficult TTC could be. Maybe book yourself in for a spa or acupuncture session to help take your mind off things. I also find YouTube videos of people who've been through the same struggles incredibly helpful. Sending positivity your way xx

@Liloulou

Hi everyone, first time poster, first cycle properly ttc for first baby. Apps showing it’s the first day in fertile window. Still a lot of acronyms and terminology I’m unfamiliar with as it’s all new to me. Let’s see how it goes...
First time poster too, also trying to learn the acronyms lol! I've just had AF and about to embark on cycle 1 TTC first baby. So excited and nervous, but glad to see that others are on the same journey.
MamaPheebz · 19/10/2020 10:46

@LisaLx if you have a first response test you can test now. I never felt nausea that early and I suffer with bad morning sickness but you never know. Everyone is different :)

@SarahMumof1DS the peeing more always starts For me a few days before my missed period. I have everything crossed for you. When will you do a test?

BuildingThings · 19/10/2020 10:45

@Liloulou welcome! 😀
This is my very first cycle TTC for first baby too! I’m learning so much about my body. Have you bought ovulation test strips? They are super useful to confirm when your ovulation is. xx

We’re just experimenting this month, so we haven’t DTD everyday of my fertile window, just around when my ovulation was to ‘test’ the waters. Next cycle we will probably be more ‘religious’ about it.

Best of luck to you this month, exciting times ahead! xxx
@Bmeggar so sorry to hear about your loss. It must be very tough for you. 😞

@Theawkwardblonde sorry to read your post, it must be very difficult right now for you and your partner. One thing to remember is that we can’t always plan our lives as life is unpredictable. We’re all guilty of sometimes creating these self imposed deadlines and by doing so we are actively making our lives more difficult. Be kinder to yourself Flowers
Thank you 🙏 xx

LisaLx · 19/10/2020 10:29

Morning ladies how's everyone today? I woke up feeling fine and for the past hour or so I have been feeling sick. I'm due my period on Wednesday not sure if it's too early to test?

@MamaPheebz

Yes creamy but not thick and sticky. Almost watery. X
Thanks @MamaPheebz me too not too thick and not loads of it. I'm also peeing a lot lately and busting to go each time!
