TTC October 2020 Bus

@gracie2307 I’m doing well thanks, first time using OPKs and charting it all on the Premom app which was quite exciting for my inner Monica

I think I ovulated yesterday so I’ll hop over to the November bus and join you while I settle in for the TWW! Fingers crossed we both get good news this month x

Hi @redpeppersoup how are you doing? Glad I am not the only one who feels that way. Yes I am on the November bus now startes accupuncture today which was weirdly relaxing! Got my fertile window coming up so fingers crossed it has some effect! Hows your week been xx

I’ve been offline for a few days so I’m really late getting back to you both, but @SunnydazeQ you immediately telling your colleagues made me laugh out loud, that’s totally something I’d do! 😂 @gracie2307 so much of what you say resonates with me, I feel like the odd one out too as everyone seems to have children that are growing at a rate of knots meanwhile we’ve only just started TTC! Have you moved over to the November thread? X

@MgW1 yeah good idea, I will definitely get the evening primrose too and use preseed next cycle, fingers crossed we don’t have too! In the meantime I’m just going to try and focus on something else, we’re doing some house renovations so I might bury myself in that for a while 😊

Yes will do but also joined ttc after miscarriage thread. I think we just need to concentrate on the fact that we are getting closer and it can only help you when you start medication etc...
Im.gona get evening primrose for first 2 weeks of my next cycle and continue ( although its not easy!!) With pre - seed next month if I get my AF. Xx

@MgW1 haha I’m hoping he isn’t! He said he’s going to speak to the GP if this cycle doesn’t work out. Ahh you’ve still got lots of time though and cramps could be a good sign of implantation maybe? Yeah it’s so hard to think of anything else during the TWW but I think we all need to distract ourselves, the time won’t pass any faster worrying about it so maybe we need a hobby to pass the time or DTD with no timings and organisation in mind lol. Are you jumping on the November TTC bus?

Ha ha! Well i am sure he isnt and I am sure the car reg coincidence , its because its all on your mind! I have had lots of cramps last night , on 8dpo today, no hopeful at all this month and spoke to G.p yesterdsy ( been on reduced hrs at f
Work following mc) who said 3-6 months for body to return to normal after mc. Il have to enjoy ttc more 🤣 xx

@MgW1 I woke up from a very vivid dream that my husband was infertile, checked my phone and a friend has given birth overnight. Tried to ignore my feelings whilst getting ready thinking it’s Friday and I should be more positive.. got in my car and drove to work behind a car with the registration BFN 🙈🙈 I feel that the universe is testing me today! 😂😂

I have just been doing some reading up online and evening primrose oil for first 2 weeks of your cycle to help EWCM , have a read up on it. Im gona get some xx

@MamaPheebz positive vibes to you too. I'm in the mindset. Don't want to stop TTC but Dow to do it without tracking is impossible in my mind. Here if you need support as I totally get how you feel.

Yeah id wait until you miss your 2nd period before telling close family ( around 8 weeks) and after your scan for everyone else ? Xx

I’d wait until the lines gets darker.
How about sending them a letter/card with the announcement in and getting them to confirm they have received it. Set up a video call where they all open it at the same time. :)

Thanks for the support. It’s just hard to be positive when I’ve watched so many videos on Youtube of early positives. I’ve been doing opks so have a rough idea of when I ovulated. I guess at this stage i could be a day or two out and implantation could be late but I’m not feeling hopeful. Not sure what to do next month.

So how on earth would you all announce a pregnancy during this time?!

I live in Wales with my husband & our two little ones and we are currently in full lockdown. My whole family live in England and my in laws have recently moved to Scotland!

Obviously it’s pretty impossible to see them face to face at the moment and so I am lost on how we would tell them?!

Any suggestions ladies? ❤️

Sorry for butting in but....
Not necessarily , depends on date of ovulatuon and there is about a 4 day window for implantation. Are you having regular periods ?
I get the whole obsessiveness.
I have only used opks for 1 month and binned them! I tested 4 times in 1 day, I thought OMG this is crazy. When ( and if) you get your AF and if you are regular - calculate fertile week and do it every other day. Its hard at the mo with everything going on , cant occupy yourself with a much stuff but please try cos stress massively effects fertility.... you can do this xx

Sorry it was negative.
I think I need to take a break too. I’m so obsessed. I don’t feel like I’m living in the real world. It’s all I think about.
I took a test thins morning. I’m 10 or 11 dpo so if I was pregnant should see a faint line like everyone else seems to get. Trying to accept that it hasn’t happened this month.
Fed up of it all and not sure what to do next really.
Not sure stopping trying is an option but can’t see a way of trying without tracking and obsessing.

@MgW1 yeah hopefully we’ll get our BFPs this cycle! Might have to leave the Preseed next time otherwise as it feels way to organised!
