I am 1dpo today. I am very calm at the moment but give me a week and I will be counting down the days until I can test. Who else is on the 2ww with me?

@ladymary86 it's amazing how that news just sets you off looking at all things baby and the urge is so powerful! Naming baby is such a big decision isn't it? How does it sound with the surname, do the initials spell anything rude? it's a minefield 😂

We had and still have only one name on our list for a boy and we still love it. But I don't know if it's a bit weird using it in the future after losing our last two PGs even though we didn't know what the sex was. What do you ladies think?

Wils85 · 02/10/2020 08:35

Hey @chillyfields we can do it together! I wasn't going to test until next week but with hubby being away from Sunday lunchtime until a week today, not sure I'd last! I'm with you, not convinced I'll get a positive as it's early but I'm 8/9DPO today as I got my peak a little earlier than usual this month.

I've been super gassy too (not normally and I very rarely burp and I'm doing that alot! I hate it!) waves of nausea, sore boobs, lots of saliva (I think - that's a weird one as it's not something I'm normally aware of 😂) and my resting heart rate has gone up... I also feel full in my lower abdo, and maybe a feeling like my uterus is bruised/tender. I know that sounds weird but it's the only way I can describe the feeling!

What symptoms have you ladies experienced either this TWW period or in previous pregnancies?

I daren't even imagine that it all means what I hope it does. I had a cycle before we were PG last time where I was utterly convinced and then my period came. I suppose it could have been a chemical but I just didn't test, then I felt like a right tool 🙈

I'm off to Morrisons at lunch to pick up a test for Sunday. All the FRER test on Amazon aren't going to be delivered until next week and that's with Prime!! How rude!

@wenders4 a line is a line, eeeeek congratulations to you 🎉I read a while back that false positives rarely happen, false negatives are common with testing too early. Keep us posted when you take another test, though it looks as though you're in the club ❤️ xxx

chillyfields · 01/10/2020 22:24

@herewegonumbertwo some people say so, but then it could also been the normal pre-AF progesterone rise. It seems like everything is a possible pregnancy symptom and a possible pre-AF symptom (until you get your BFP)

herewegonumbertwo · 01/10/2020 22:18

@chillyfields say what, is being gassy a symptom?! I've been super gassy too 🙈

chillyfields · 01/10/2020 22:16

Congratulations @ladymary86! Very excited and happy for you!

@Wils85 I'm also due on Wednesday! Trying to hold off testing until then, but now you've mentioned an FRER this weekend I'm like 👀 wonder if I can pop into Boots on my way home... I know rationally that it's too soon to tell really (only 7DPO today), but I have been so gassy, and creamy CM which I don't usually get during PMS. Eurgh would just love this to be the month, TTC is stressing me out.

@wenders4 I don't know personally (this would be my first) but I've read it takes 48hrs for HCG to double, so if it's very early now, and your pee was dilute, it wouldn't necessarily be darker just 12hrs later. Good luck! Keeping everything crossed that yours is a sticky one 🌠

ladymary86 · 01/10/2020 14:58

@Wils85 no it definitely hasn't sunk in yet.
I'm loaded with a miserable cold so I've spent the day just trying to get through my work so I can go home and cuddle up with the kids!
So excited but trying not to be at the same time.
I do however have a horrendous urge to go and buy a baby names book!!!

ladymary86 · 01/10/2020 14:56

@wenders4 congratulations!! I can definitely see lines on both of those!!

wenders4 · 01/10/2020 08:38

I'm Due on tomorrow and I have a faint faint line. Left was taken last night and right was this morning but I'd have expected the right one to have been darker?

Congratulations LadyMary!

I'm 7dpo today, been trying for a year now so probably about 14 cycles, it's starting to feel relentless! We're just at the start of getting tests done but still hoping it might happen naturally..

eastsussex94 · 01/10/2020 07:59

Congrats LadyMary!

Wils85 · 01/10/2020 07:38

Ah congratulations @ladymary86 wonderful news!!! Has it sunk in yet?

Tempted to by a FRER now to test at the weekend. AF is due for me next Wednesday-ish but hubby is away all week and I don't want to test without him. Waiting for him to come home next Friday if my period is late would be torture!!

@nocallerid I'm so sorry to hear about your TMFR it's just the most horrendous time mentally, emotionally and physically. Sending you so much love and, as they say in these forums; baby dust! Xxx

ladymary86 · 01/10/2020 06:50

I barely slept so when my DS got up at half 6 I just did this one....

I wasn't sure about the first, but there's no mistaking that one!

ladymary86 · 30/09/2020 21:54

This one is a bit clearer - it came up really quickly!! Think I just took this one in a better light...

@ladymary86 I can see it!!! Xx

ladymary86 · 30/09/2020 20:12

OMG.... does anyone see what I see???

Who else is on their 2ww?
monoclepolish · 30/09/2020 19:53

Yep. Due on Sunday...had some brown mucus-y smears on day 21 followed by a fair lot of clear/white mucus today, day 23... Implantation? I guess we will have to wait and see. So near yet so far...

ladymary86 · 30/09/2020 18:59

It really is! It's a horrible wait!!

Trying4one · 30/09/2020 16:48

@ladymary86 it is so hard isn't it. I want to know as early as possible but I don't want to know if I have a chemical pregnancy. I will only get disappointed. I think I am going to wait until next Thursday/Friday

ladymary86 · 30/09/2020 16:15

You're probably right. I'd end up just disappointed I think 🤣

Trying4one · 30/09/2020 15:56

@ladymary86 hmm as you don't know when you ovulated it is hard to know. My instinct says it may be too early as the egg may not have implanted yet so wouldn't see anything

OP posts:
ladymary86 · 30/09/2020 15:11

I picked up some FRER today. It's a two pack and part of me is tempted to just do one and see.... sometimes my cycles are 30 days and in that case I'd be within 6 days, so I might see something?! Or am i being crazy??

Trying4one · 30/09/2020 09:41

@ladymary86 AF is due on 11th for me 🙈
I bought most of mine on Amazon. Thank god for next day free delivery with prime 😂😂. Sometimes on offer as well

OP posts:
ladymary86 · 30/09/2020 09:09

It's the worst! According to my PTracking app, AF is due on the 9th.
I think I might pick some of those up at test on Monday but I can't decide!!

Trying4one · 30/09/2020 08:25

@ladymary86 it is first response early response. They are supposed to be good at detecting pregnancy early.
Oh no 🤦 it is that time of year isn't it. I am barely going out due to working from home so if I get one I will blame my husband 😂. I have my flu jab on Saturday so will most likely feel yuck most of the weekend
