TTC October Crew?

Hey guys! TTC since March! Periods have become irregular since I took Northisterone (to delay my periods) in January! So my days may be off (deffo will be off) but it's worth a try. Just stress as my partners in the army so he's away all week and I feel he will miss my most fertile days 😂 any others want to share the journey?

Hey ladies! Can you please have a look at my charts and give me your opinion? I'm not experienced with BBT and tracking, only started mid-cycle last month, currently on second cycle TTC.
So last month, ovulation was confirmed by OPK and temps -though I only started tempting a day before the positive OPK so really all the useful info I have is the luteal phase temps.
This month I started using the CB advanced digital on CD6, no flashing smileys at all, but got a static on CD10.
After 48 hours (CD12) I started using it again along with cheapies. All negative until CD13 where I got another peak on both.
Fertility Friend is adamant that I ovulated on CD11, but I didn't get any EWCM until CD12. My chart so far does looks like it has a temperature shift but temps are nowhere near last month's luteal phase.
WHAT'S GOING ON? Confused

@AnneZ31 😂 my current situation! My anxiety level is at an all time high! 😂 is it the 20th yet???

AnneZ31 · 08/10/2020 17:28

As in the horrendous wait between ovulating and being able to do a test 😜

Mommabear20 · 08/10/2020 17:26

@AnneZ31 🙌 thank you! 😂

AnneZ31 · 08/10/2020 17:25

Two week wait @Mommabear20

Mommabear20 · 08/10/2020 17:14

@AnneZ31 sorry am fairly new to all the acronyms, what does TWW stand for??

AnneZ31 · 08/10/2020 17:13

And so the TWW begins. I’m feeling quite positive, how about everyone else?

Not sure if that’s a little optimistic as we were only able to DTD 2 days before ovulation and OH got called away for work! But based on the graph that @eloiseislost Shared a week or so ago, that should be fine 🤞🏼
@Flowerkm yeah well I'll give you some of my info! I'm only 23. I got pregnant 3 years ago with my current partner and we didn't go through with the pregnancy. I've regretted it ever since and the guilt just eats me up 😭 my partners now in the army so we've gone down the typical path of TTC and talking about maybe having a small quick wedding! I took Northisterone in January and since then my periods are so messed up my cycles range from 20/30/35 days and they're different every month so I have no idea when I'm ovulating or anything 😫 so stressful.

I have heard these pills work though called seven seas trying to conceive. They give you the extra nutrients and things like that which make conceiving easier. My friend used them and they worked for her and there's also so many good reviews online so maybe worth a go? I've bought them but not used them yet!
Hi! So nice to hear your story as I have exactly the same situation. Been ttc for 6 months now (Oct will be number 7). We got pregnant accidentally almost 2 years ago and didn't go through with it and I regret it too. Every month I get a negative I am so frustrated with myself!! Also have irregular periods and have no idea when I'm ovulating. We've been DTD Every 2/3 days but we stop at around day 23 so not sure if we're stopping too early!!

Mommabear20 · 08/10/2020 12:00

@CookieMonster3001 my GP recommended DTD every other day to improve the quality of DH 'juice' 😂
Don't give up! It only takes once to be successful! Think happy baby thoughts!

CookieMonster3001 · 08/10/2020 10:23

2nd flashing smiley this morning. DTD after a lot of hard work last night! OH was just stressed out and couldn't ejaculate. Have to give it to him tho, he persevered and an hour late it happened! LOL tired is an understatement. And we have to do that again?
Due to ovulate on Sunday (but potentially could be Saturday) and was planning on DTD again Friday, Saturday and Sunday but OH doesn't think he will be able to do Friday as he might be busy.... so already starting to think it won't have been enough.

@purplepoppet92 of course! She did suggest moving on to sertraline. Im on the highest dose of paroxetine at the mo and also taking quetiapine. The appointment is 1500 on 15th so I can let you know after then _

purplepoppet92 · 07/10/2020 13:44

@Qwom this may sound odd - but can you let me know what info you get from your psychiatrist regarding conceiving on sertraline? I have reduced myn to minimal dosage due to TTC but im struggling a bit to be honest.

Mommabear20 · 07/10/2020 12:49

@CookieMonster3001 oh my god! Same! My MIL is amazing at sniffing it out! 😂 she seems to know we're trying even though we haven't told anyone and it's incredibly soon after our DD! They're mad aren't they?! 😂
Wow! That sucks! Maybe contact your antenatal ward at your hospital and get their advice.

Qwom · 07/10/2020 11:47

Hello all! My partner and I have decided to start TTC. I am 37 and can't help feeling like it's going to be a slog. I have an 11 yo from a previous relationship. I am also being treated for severe depression but the last few months have been nice and stable, I'm going to have to change from my current antidepressant ,paroxetine, and on to sertraline. So not actually TTC until my meds have switched and we've had a meeting with my psychiatrist, which will be the last week of October! Xx

CookieMonster3001 · 07/10/2020 11:36

@Mommabear20 lovely idea!! I defo want to have an early scan if I do fall pregnant. Currently I do not have a doctor. Long story short, I moved house in Feb and they kicked me off the register because I no longer was in the catchment area. The area I moved to is new and the new health centre that should have opened in September has been postponed due to Covid. Not entirely sure what you do if you fall pregnant and you don't have a doctor?!

My parents are like hound dogs, they would be able to sniff pregnancy on me, so I am staying well away from them if I can haha, at least until I have a scan done!

Got my first flashy smiley this morning which is exciting!! Hubby is in a grotty mood today though and didn't sleep well last night so hoping he perks up a bit before tonight!

Mommabear20 · 06/10/2020 21:08

@purplepoppet92 ideally we want to have the scan before we tell people. Would only be if I got terrible morning sickness again would we tell parents early. So really hoping I catch on this month as would put our 12 week scan at around December 15th 😁🤞

purplepoppet92 · 06/10/2020 19:41

@mommabear20 would you tell family before 12 weeks?

Mommabear20 · 06/10/2020 16:29

@CookieMonster3001
I am hoping to get a scan done before Christmas and put pictures in our parents Christmas cards 😁

CookieMonster3001 · 06/10/2020 14:12

@purplepoppet92 that is such a cute idea!!

I have seen a few, but nothing has caught my eye yet. I really want something that will be funny and keep them guessing for a little bit! Sometimes see videos on facebook of couples playing games like where their parents have to wear headphones, and they have to guess what the couple are telling them. Makes for a great video!!

Also torn between doing a pregnancy test with my OH or on my own and then surprising him after. He tells me off all the time for thinking so in advance about these things, he thinks I will jinx it, but I can't help it!!

purplepoppet92 · 06/10/2020 13:43

@Cookiemonster3001 would also love to make a Christmas announcement! Every Christmas eve my partners dad gets us all scratch cards to scratch off at dinner, and I spotted pregnancy announcement scratch cards so would LOVE to tell them this way!😅😅

Have you any ideas?

CookieMonster3001 · 06/10/2020 13:36

@purplepoppet92 he was horrified when I told him that it might take more than one occasion for me to get pregnant, haha. This is our first month TTC and due to ovulate on Sunday.

@Mommabear20 fingers crossed!! I would also love to be able to announce a pregnancy at Christmas time!

Any one thought of any fun ideas on how they would announce to their family?

First CB test this morning and a blank circle, which I thought would be the case! Hopefully I get a flashy tomorrow morning!

Mommabear20 · 05/10/2020 19:37

@purplepoppet92 thank you!! 🤞🤞 AF is due in 17 days so getting more anxious by the day 😂
Would be hilarious announcing this pregnancy a year to the day (we have a family gathering 3 days before Christmas every year) after announcing our first 😂

Good luck to everyone else! Fingers crossed for us all!

purplepoppet92 · 05/10/2020 18:20

@mommabear20 welcome! Hope you get just as lucky this time around! And congrats on your recent arrival 😀 x

purplepoppet92 · 05/10/2020 18:19

@cookiemonster3001 love that your hubby asked that!! They really don't have a clue do they?🤣
Have you been trying long?
