@LaMadrilena congratulations dear 😘 how do you feel? Thank you for your kind words🥰
@MrsK21 thank you😘 well I am 9 days behind. CD1 now. I'm glad it came today not later though.

@Bellabubble yeah unfortunately. I'm trying to be strong but with October approaching is just hard. It does suck. Is there a secret on how to go through this time ? What will doctor test with your blood ?

@HPenthusiast I'm sorry about your loss in August . Are you sure your hcg went completely down after Mc in August ? It could be still a remainder from your MC. It took me few weeks. Regardless sending you lots of love❤️

HPenthusiast · 13/09/2020 18:55

Thank you @MinnieMouse4 I’ll be patient and hope it comes this week. It’s typical that it’s not delayed as my predicted ovulation dates are the week my partner is going away for work 😩 gutted.

MinnieMouse4 · 13/09/2020 18:52

Hi @RichmondLady1981 the sperm meets egg plan (SMEP) a lady kindly shared it with me on this forum and I’ve decided to give it a go this month. Begin DTD at CD8 and every other day thereafter. Then you begin OPKs at CD10. Once you get a positive on OPKs you DTD three days in a row, miss one day out and then DTD again. Then you wait 15 days and take a test. There’s also a link here that will explain it better than me
www.weddingsonline.ie/discussion/smep-sperm-meets-egg-plan-explained-t90840.html

@Peblet I understand that things may look so uncertain for you right now but what I have found is that there is never a ‘right time’ as in there will probably always be a reason not to. If it’s something you want and feel about strongly then go for it xx

@HPenthusiast I had 4 faint positives and AF arrived within the week. That was my first AF Prost MC too xx

HPenthusiast · 13/09/2020 18:36

Just caught up on the last 4 pages - huge congratulations to the ladies who got their BFP ☺️

After our MMC in August we decided to try this month even though I haven’t had AF yet. I had some implantation feelings so did an early test on Monday -10dpo- and I had a faint positive - however since then it has been more faint each time and is now basically a BFN. I understand this could have been a chemical pregnancy. Please could anyone advise if their AF turned up relatively soon after this happening or was their a delay? Praying for some better luck next cycle 😢 thanks in advance

Peblet · 13/09/2020 18:20

Hey! Already finding it difficult to keep up with everyone! 😂 Thank you for the welcome and
Congratulations to those who have their BFP’s!

@Firevie I got married and honeymooned in South Africa, 2 years ago next month..where abouts did you go?

I was going to ask you all for some advice, I’m not too sure yet but it’s likely there will be more redundancies at my work, I survived the last one but I work in HR in events and hospitality and things are not looking good..I’m quite a big planner and like to be organised but really don’t want to waste anymore time ttc and it may not even happen and I’ll have lost more time.I’m 34 and I just don’t feel like waiting around for ‘the right time’especially after the mc as you really don’t know what life will throw at you next!

Sorry for the essay 😀

RichmondLady1981 · 13/09/2020 18:16

Hi @MinnieMouse4. Good luck for this months cycle. What is SMEP and how does it work?

MinnieMouse4 · 13/09/2020 18:07

@VP91x thank you for the new thread. Sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit down. A friend of mine was diagnosed with PCOS early last year and she followed a strict low GI diet and she fell pregnant really quickly and is happily enjoying motherhood now. She swore by the diet advice. Fingers crossed that a BFP shows it’s face within the next few days for you! Xx

Congratulations to all those ladies with BFPs - I hope that the positive vibes keep flowing and there are plenty more BFPs announced in this thread. Wishing you lovely ladies a happy and healthy 9 months! Xx

@KatiePlus3 I remember that I noticed I had quite a lot of CM before my BFP last time, so much that I actually thought AF had arrived but when I went to check there was no blood just CM. Xx

@LaMadrilena @LavenderAndLillies welcome and sorry to hear of your losses. Xx

Update - I’m on CD5 and ready to begin SMEP next week. I was debating on starting later based on previous cycles but just going to bare with it this month. I’m terrified of missing out! Anyone tried SMEP before and have any pearls of wisdom to share? Or anyone else around the same day as me? Xx

LavenderAndLillies · 13/09/2020 17:46

@Furbsies it's such a rollercoaster, isn't it? Fingers crossed we get our rainbow babies soon! I'm trying to keep positive and just think that every month that I'm not pg is a month closer when it will happen, if that makes sense? x
@RichmondLady1981 thank you! I'm sorry for yours too, it's so awful that so many women go through this, but it is comforting knowing we're not alone x

@susiebluebell I'm feeling the same, but at least if it's not bfp's for us this month, then it's a month closer to that bfp! I'm trying very hard not to symptom spot, but that's easier said than done, haha!

susiebluebell · 13/09/2020 17:28

@LavenderAndLillies Hello and welcome! Our pregnancy was a happy surprise too and the harder for it. I'm on my first cycle since, with AF due on Tuesday, and a bit apprehensive now tbh.

1990EM · 13/09/2020 16:47

@VP91x thanks for including me in the thread again.

I read everyday and am silently cheering everyone on. Just dont like to comment too much and derail the TTC chat to pregnancy chat but I'm so invested in all your journeys. Congrats to the BFPs from the last thread and sending love to those who have had a hard month of it. @VP91 special love to you for keeping everyone going and being the guru and expert we all need! Also as a PCOS sister I'm praying you soon get what you deserve despite the trials of anovulation etc! Times I haven't ovulated for over 6 months so I feel your frustration. Hoping you just had late implantation this time and that a BFP is right around the corner.

RichmondLady1981 · 13/09/2020 16:40

Welcome @LavenderAndLillies and sorry for your loss. Hope AF comes soon so you can start afresh! X

chloedancer897 · 13/09/2020 16:05

Thanks for the add @VP91x I'm staying quite quiet here for a while and trying to focus my attention elsewhere but I'll keep an eye for those waiting to test, I have everything crossed for every one of us xo

Furbsies · 13/09/2020 15:39

@LavenderAndLillies the same exact thing happened to me, I had my MC in later May, it was a surprise and we were just processing that and it has been hard coming out on the other side but thankfully husband has been uber supportive so I am much better. Here's hoping our 🌈 comes soon.
Welcome to the thread!! Send lots of positive energy

LavenderAndLillies · 13/09/2020 15:31

Hi everyone, please can I join?
I had a mmc at 12 weeks in July, and this is my second cycle since - I'm not 100% sure of the date I ovulated, but I should be due af in the next few days I think.
I've found the last few months very difficult to be honest, the pregnancy was a surprise to begin with (but a very happy one!) and so my Dh and I have found the mc very difficult to process.
You all seem like lovely ladies, and I'm sorry you've all found your way here

Wishingfornumber2 · 13/09/2020 14:56

@Bellabubble I wasn’t told not to TTC before I had my 21 day bloods. Maybe ask the dr if you can why they said that to you?

@VP91x sorry to hear you are feeling down. A big virtual hug goes out to you 😘. I thought the other day shall I just not bother with all this trying for another baby malarkey! But 5 mins later I thought no I do really want one!! Xx

VP91x · 13/09/2020 14:49

@RichmondLady1981 thank you, I recently found out I have PCOS which is why I hadn't ovulated since April. So it might not be likely I'll ovulate next cycle, but will have to see! Xx

RichmondLady1981 · 13/09/2020 14:11

@VP91x sport you’re feeling down. But there’s no reason why you shouldn’t ovulate next cycle. I’m sending you lots of positivity x

RichmondLady1981 · 13/09/2020 14:08

@Furbsies. We will be expecting AF (or hopefully BFP!) around same time. Yes me too. I read that CM is supposed to go away after ovulation but hasn’t for me. I’m quite sure I have ovulated but I guess we are all different. I don’t remember any symptoms except pinching feelings on my left side around implantation time. Was quite Uncomfortable I recall.

VP91x · 13/09/2020 14:05

@2020wish @Bellabubble I'm doing okay just feeling a bit bummed this month which is why I have been quiet.

11dpo and negative tests so pretty much sure I am out for this month, which is even more shit seeing as it was the only month I have ovulated since April. I'm worried I will have to wait another 4 cycles for another go but let's see.

@Bellabubble I've never been told to stop TTC for day 21 test and I've had three in a row now. Thats odd? Are you not going to try?

Xx

@Bl0ndie3 we haven't told anyone yet, can understand you needing a support system, hopefully will be a lot different this time around for you 😊
I will have to tell work as will need a risk assessment in place but going to keep it quiet other than that until I have a lil bump 😍 🤞 x

Dizzy201 · 13/09/2020 13:35

@Littlebee1990 congratulations 😍 xx

Furbsies · 13/09/2020 13:32

AF due on Sunday. Won't be testing until late. I have EWCM that is clear. Not really sure what that tells me, any clue anyone?

Tjought that was supposed to be before ovulation.

Last time (when I had my MC) I had unusually tender breasts, the more I try relax myself and not stress about it the more I find myself feeling if I'm tender..

RichmondLady1981 · 13/09/2020 13:14

Congratulations to the BFPs! So great to know there’s success after such tough times.

Sorry for those who’ve had BFNs, and especially hard for those who were due soon. Big hugs x

Update from me. 7DPO for me. Ignoring any symptoms as much as possible 😂 One app says AF due this SAT 19th and other says Monday 21st. Not going to bother testing until Tuesday. I may still wait. I get too nervous to test. Anyone else due AF this week? Going to test? 😁

Runnergirl1 · 13/09/2020 12:38

@VP91x thanks for the new thread

@Littlebee1990 congratulations

Update: currently 10dpo will test again Tuesday after a bfn yesterday. Funny tummy the past few days not sickly or anything just strange feeling. Apart from that and still creamy Cm no symptoms. Think this month isn’t mine x

Bellabubble · 13/09/2020 12:36

@VP91x thank you for the new thread - hope you are doing ok :) xx

@HopeForRainbowbaby my due daye is approaching too - it would have been early October, and I have 2 friends due to give birth asap - it’s hard isn’t it, and sucky - to put it politely!

I’m due to have my cd21 bloods done this month, so Dr said no ttc - is there a reason for that? OH said what’s the worst that could happen - we could actually be pregnant? Initially he was saying “ahh I’m sad we won’t be dtd as much this month” and I did remind him we dtd other tomes not in fertile week too - so I wonder if he is trying to hide how much he wants a bfp too so that I don’t stress too much. Anyone that has had bloods done - did you halt ttc for that month?
