@daisyorange definitely with you on that. I didn't use clearblue until later. I used one step on 10dpo, it is hard I keep thinking about all the things that could go wrong. Trying my best to keep positive thoughts in my head though.

Ah it took me a while to actually want to TTC again because I was just too scared to go through something like that again, I had to have MVA and my OH helped me a lot otherwise I'd probably still be in that negative mindset.

@diorissimo1985 I'm so sorry for your losses. I can't imagine how difficult it must be with two losses.
But a huge congratulations on that heartbeat. Have they given you an 8 week scan? Maybe seeing the little bean with a strong heartbeat again would put your mind at ease a little more

daisyorange · 17/09/2020 12:42

Congratulations @Diorissimo1985 that is such beautiful news.

I can imagine the anxiety is rough but it's amazing you have a strong little heartbeat. Hang in there, it will be worth it - I'm sure!

Diorissimo1985 · 17/09/2020 12:20

Hi all, hope everyone is doing okay?
I’ve dropped off the last couple of threads - had been in the group since April!

I got my bfp at the end of last month after 2 miscarriages this year. Have had a very stressful time and was in A&E with pain and bleeding last week. Can’t believe that a baby with a heartbeat was found on the scan, and I will be 8 weeks tomorrow.
Not out the woods yet and two losses consecutively earlier this year has really knocked me Sad I have none of the usual joy and only anxiety!

How are you all doing? I’m trying to catch up on where everyone is but we are such a chatty bunch it moves so fast!!
Xx

daisyorange · 17/09/2020 12:19

Hi @Furbsies thank you so much for replying.

Sorry to hear of your loss, it's so tough isn't it?

I think the fact we had such an early BFP (even had a clear blue digital at 9DPO) makes it even more frustrating because I keep expecting the same again and getting myself worked up over it - even though I know all pregnancies are different. But I do agree, it's definitely better to wait and test later - just easier said than done!

We actually decided to stop trying this month, but here I am anyway - symptom spotting and testing too early!

Furbsies · 17/09/2020 12:10

Oh forgot to say in CD30 and my cycles are usually 32 days long.

Furbsies · 17/09/2020 12:09

@RichmondLady1981 I'm 11dpo today, and had a lot of nausea this morning. Literally couldn't keep breakfast down. But last time I tested in the afternoon of 10dpo and got a BFP because of unusually painful breasts. Not feeling that this time so whilst it's tempting to test I'm feeling like I should wait it out and see how it plays.
@daisyorange
So sorry to hear of your loss. I had a MC in late May this year, at 7weeks. Same as you, I had the brightest BFP line show up on day 10 and did it in late afternoon. This time though I am waiting. Didn't want to drive myself crazy doing it too early.
Some days are good and some are bad with temptation. Fingers crossed for you and welcome to the thread

daisyorange · 17/09/2020 09:19

@RichmondLady1981 Sorry forgot to say I am CD29 and 10 DPO today.

daisyorange · 17/09/2020 09:10

Hi everyone,

I hope you don't mind me joining this thread. It's the first time I've done this, but I'm going pretty crazy this month and need someone to talk to! @RichmondLady1981 it looks as though we have pretty much the exact same timing on our cycles.

I had a miscarriage in June at almost 6 weeks. We conceived first try. Since then we have been TTC. I have been sure each month I haven't been pregnant but this month I had odd symptoms including spotting at 7 DPO, cramps pretty much all week, unusual CM which is texture of EW but kind of milky. Boobs are exceptionally big - like when I was pregnant before.

I've tested each morning for the past few days and all BFN. I know it's early, but I am impatient. With my pregnancy in June I had a BFP at 9 DPO in the afternoon. Going crazy over here!!!

RichmondLady1981 · 17/09/2020 08:48

Morning @susiebluebell. Sorry you got AF but you’re right in taking the positive in that your body is getting back to normal and has recovered. 💕

susiebluebell · 17/09/2020 07:13

Morning ladies, just woken up to AF arriving, oh joy! So that's me for this month - mixed feelings so far, relief that my cycle seems to be normal post-mc, a bit sad that we didn't fall pregnant straight away,... I'm sure you're all familiar.

Hope you all have a good day and fingers crossed for any testers or ladies in FW x

RichmondLady1981 · 16/09/2020 20:45

@Furbsies so my one app (natural cycles which I used to conceive my little boy) says due AF Friday and my other app (PreMom which I only started last cycle) says in due Monday. Weirdly PreMom was most accurate last cycle so won’t test until perhaps Tuesday or Wednesday next week. I never have the urge to test, on the contrary I’m too scared! I’m CD29 and approx 9/10 DPO. What DPO are you?

I know symptom spotting can be a cruel game. I swore I was pregnant last cycle so trying not to think too much this time around.

Since my MC my cycles have def been longer. From 28 days on the dot, to 32/33 days.

What are you plans for testing?

Wishingfornumber2 · 16/09/2020 20:33

Hi all 👋, welcome to the new ladies that have joined. Sorry that you find yourself here but I have learnt so much from these threads!

Cd1 for me today so have managed to get bloods booked in for tomorrow morning for cd2. This has been a 35 day cycle. So hopefully getting back to my usual 31/32 days instead of the 40 & 41 I have had for the last 2 cycles. Had the usual sadness of AF starting but looking forward now to getting my blood test results and got my scan coming up next month so will hopefully see if I get any answers. X

MinnieMouse4 · 16/09/2020 20:00

@Bellabubble ahh that’s a good idea! I’m not 100% when I ovulate so going to try SMEP for a few months and then may take a more laid back approach once I have a better understanding of my cycle but hopefully I won’t need to 🤞🏻 Xx

Bellabubble · 16/09/2020 19:55

@MinnieMouse4 cycle buddies!! Lol! We tried smep for a few months, but it got to stressful for us long term - but luckily I have natural cycles that confirms my ovulation and lolking back it is always between cd13-15 (but mostly cd14) so we start on day 12 and do 4nights in a row lol!

Furbsies · 16/09/2020 19:54

@RichmondLady1981 AF due in 4 days. I haven't been tracking my temp but goodness I feel like I have a fever this evening. Literally after I messaged you. I started feeling extremely warm.

At the same time, feels like I am making all these up in my head...

RichmondLady1981 · 16/09/2020 19:41

@Furbsies remind me where you’re at with your cycle!

Thanks so much! I’m feeling ok. Hopeful but remaining realistic. 😊

Furbsies · 16/09/2020 18:54

@RichmondLady1981 I've got my fingers crossed for you. Wishing you all the luck for BFP.

There's literally been no changes for me in anything apart from unusual amounts of discharge for some reason.

Pugprincess · 16/09/2020 13:32

@Runnergirl1 hope you are ok XX

@MichT4 no sign off unfortunately but I’ve had and sent a test off that school sent me this morn. So I’m off till I get a neg result or my ten days since symptoms start pass. Ps you will save a small fortune dropping the pom juice. I’m still using it 😅 daren’t stop.

@AutumnDays90 sorry you find yourself here but it’s a really supportive thread ❤️

RichmondLady1981 · 16/09/2020 13:24

Hi @MichT4. Thanks for thinking of me. It went up. See attached. From 36.44 to 36.68. Not a huge amount but still the right direction.

TTC after MC - September 2020 (Thread 13)
MichT4 · 16/09/2020 13:14

@Firevie I am picking up our Tesco delivery later funnily enough. Had my phone open on just eat for lunch as we have nothing in, but then thought better of it and made a pretty below par omelette instead 😂
I've never used CB so will just stick with the cheapies. I don't usually ovulate til into the 20s and tend to get a few dark ones and no temp rise so I'll have to be patient with it and just try and keep up with the frequent DTD. I want to not overthink it this cycle.
This was my first AF so probably why it was heavier. Feels strangely good now that I've accepted it happened that it's done and a lovely new cycle is here.
We haven't DTD for ages so I think as soon as I tell OH that AF is finished, that'll be the start of our long old run 🤣🥵

I'm dropping Pom juice this cycle, I can't stand it 😂. No more things I hate, especially when it's not guaranteed. Just one of my new rules for a more relaxed approach

xx

Firevie · 16/09/2020 12:26

@MichT4 ooh we are cycle buddies lovely. I’m cd6 today. My first Af after mc last month was much heavier than this one but I’m not letting it stress me or trying anyway. Will you be starting with cheap OPKS first? I think I will start doing cheap OPKS once a day from cd11 I think and then cbd from cd15 perhaps. We haven’t started dtd yet but ageee with you that we will just start dtd every other day or so so it’s fun too haha
I’m okay thanks but really fancy a pizza haha
We need to go to Tesco for our weekly shop so currently nothing at home lol
Xxx

MichT4 · 16/09/2020 11:22

@RichmondLady1981 how was your temp today?

@AutumnDays90 @KM89 so sorry to hear of your losses. Welcome to the group. There's lots of TTC knowledge and support here

@Firevie we aren't too far apart, I'm CD5 today. I've had a short AF - just spotting today - but it's been pretty heavy so I'm feeling fully reset now. I'll probably start OPKs in about 5 days, even though I'm normally waiting forever. Will just DTD every other day as much as we can so I can try not to stress too much about it all.
Definitely with you trying to get back to healthier choices. I've been so bad and am not happy with the lack of clothes that fit me properly 😂 so for now that's a focus and I will hopefully just feel better all round
How are you today?

@Pugprincess haha! Poor pup! Luckily Loki sleeps downstairs so he should be subjected to anything. Did you get signed off?

@fafi I'd call it hit and miss progress 😂 depends entirely what mood he is in

Xx

Louisa199 · 16/09/2020 11:10

@RichmondLady1981 Your peak fertile days should be the ovulation day and two days before, I would BD every day during these daysGrin
The dip on CD8 could be an implantation dip, hopefully, the temp rises up the next day, fingers crossed!

AutumnDays90 · 16/09/2020 09:57

Thank you for your lovely welcome everyone. I am so sorry for your losses.
It is comforting to be amongst other people who have been through the same thing, though of course I wish none of us had to go through a loss at all.

So lovely to hear of the BFPs and read pregnancy updates. Makes me hope that could be us soon!

Bl0ndi3 · 15/09/2020 22:34

@KM89 welcome although I'm sorry you find yourself here ❤️

I would recommend getting the clear blue digital ovulation test I've used it twice (July and then September) and I got BFP both times although obviously I can't say that's what did it, but it gave me a really simple guide as to when to DTD at the right time! The cycle after my MC I confirmed it with some cheap ovulation tests just to be sure it was accurate xxx
