@RichmondLady1981 thank you, we did dtd, just in case!
Fingers crossed AF is a no show for you 🤞

Ovulation test just now has faded, will check later today just to make sure it keeps fading. Hopefully that was ovulation, not just my body's attempt at it. Cervix seemed high and soft too yesterday.

I am going to use some leftover progesterone pessaries from my IVF after 3 dpo... thought it might be worth a try!
Also have carried on with pregnacare and aspirin just in case, I was only prescribed aspirin a week before my mc, and I have been wondering if that would have helped, if I had started it sooner.

@HappyVibes I love that picture thank you for sharing that. It’s nice to hear from you again and nice to see that you are taken a laid back approach and that it’s paying off.

I’m on CD10 today. Began SMEP on Wednesday and due to start OPKs today. It’s my first time using the cheapie OPKs so if anyone has any tips to throw my way I would be grateful! Round 2 BD tonight but OH feels like he’s coming down with a cold so may not be able to follow it through as planned this month. Fingers crossed I ovulate soon and can get it out the way but that’s not likely! Xx

susiebluebell · 18/09/2020 08:33

Good morning everyone, and @HappyVibes good to see you pop up! You do sound a bit more like your old peppy self which is so lovely Smile

HappyVibes · 18/09/2020 08:30

Good morning & happy Friday beautiful ladies!

How is everyone feeling & where is everyone up to in their cycles?

So @RichmondLady1981 the temps are Helpful with that tracking but not conclusive. You know our old saying...of until AF arrives, keep up the optimism. 🌟 and if she does come treat yourself & look after yourself in whatever way feels right for you.

Update from me lovelies. I had a good few blahhh days after AF the other week - went hard at the gym, lots of baths, homely foods, booked weekends away, online shopping, new pjs. & then got my spring in my step back 😊 Currently waiting for my FW which should be soon. Taken a huge step back this month & my god it feels SOOOO good.

The sun is shining & it’s Friday! Woohoo.

Hope you’re well @VP91x How are you doing?

💓

How are you feeling about it @RichmondLady1981?

Exactly same for me today. Went from 36.40 to 35.97! AF will deffo be here today or tomorrow. I actually feel relieved to know now - it’s the guessing game that kills me!

Onwards, upwards and plenty of wine tonight for me!

X

Bellabubble · 18/09/2020 07:51

@RichmondLady1981 I’m on cd10 today - so my app says low fertility (it conveniently colour grades it as I get towards the predicted ovulation date lol!) so will be getting on it from Sunday onwards lol! Half term literally feels like a lifetime away at the moment lol! I’m currently chaning my topic for the third time as well (luckily I keep planning generic and it’s just displays and my terms overview I have to change) as the previous teachers didn’t pick up they had year 3 topics (I’m year 1/2 at the mo but actually trained and specialised in early years!)

Woah that must have been really busy settling your little one into nursery as well as sorting for an interview! I would have made a John Lewis pit stop too 😂 sorry to hear about the temp drop - mine tends to do that about 3days before af. It doesn’t always mean af is coming though 🤞🏻

RichmondLady1981 · 18/09/2020 07:26

Morning. Quite a significant temp drop for me AGAIN today. 😭 😢 🩸 No AF yet but I fear she’s hunting me down 😂

RichmondLady1981 · 17/09/2020 20:54

Thank you! Boys have been back for two weeks and I’ve been back for three. Absolutely exhausted. Been settling my 16 month into a new nursery at the same time and had to interview at Head office in London which was conveniently placed next to John Lewis (needless to say I popped in afterwards!). It’s an internal promotion so wasn’t too bad. Thank you. I’m not surprised it’s hard work isn’t it. How long till Half term again!!?? 🤣

Yeah been a bit more just but not full flow. Got a weird ache on my left side. Can’t believe they were fooled into AF. Everyone is just so different.

How are you doing cycle wise?

Bellabubble · 17/09/2020 19:50

@RichmondLady1981whilst lots of olaces say implantation bleeding is different from af - I know a few people who got ib heavy enough to be fooled into thinking it was af and not finding out until a month later they were pregnant! Good luck on thhe job front too - did you have to do it via zoom or were you allowed in the school? I’m currently only 2 weeks into term and feel like it’s already been 5 😂

susiebluebell · 17/09/2020 19:13

Welcome @daisyorange Fellow flowers! Smile

@chloedancer897 Good to see an update from you, my heart goes out to your OH and his struggles. Mine really struggles to talk about it unless I really prompt him and start the conversation, he wants kids so much but there's so much fear as well. He was amazing when I had the mc but finds it hard to express what he's going through Confused My thoughts are with you anyway!

chloedancer897 · 17/09/2020 18:39

@RichmondLady1981 good luck! Fingers crossed for you. Sometimes you just need something stressful to distract you!

RichmondLady1981 · 17/09/2020 18:39

A little update. My temps went up a little this morning (although I did drink a couple of glasses of champs last night so it could be that!) but I have brown/dark red discharge a couple of hours ago. Nothing since but will keep an eye. Guessing start of AF as think too late for implantation? Feel a bit crampy. Never had implantation bleed before. Anyone else have it and found out you’re preggers? what day did it happen? (Can you see I’m clutching at straws here! 😂).

RichmondLady1981 · 17/09/2020 18:36

@chloedancer897 good to hear from you and good that you’ve decided to relax a bit. Great you know your cycle so well so you can avoid OPKs this time. Hope you’re ok and enjoy some good quality time of that husband of yours 💕. Job move sounds like it could be a good distraction. I went for a deputy head interview yesterday and been prepping for a week and have to say, as stressful as it was, it was a good distraction.

RichmondLady1981 · 17/09/2020 18:32

@AutumnDays90 I’d get between the sheets. Looking like a positive or very close to a peak. Yes it’s possible so soon. Good that your body is ovulating so soon.

Awful about the 12 week scan. It’s just not acceptable. Sorry to hear that!

I’m not sure about HCG and ovulation tests but some people fall pregnant after surgery before even getting their first proper period and go on to have healthy babies. Just makes dating a bit trickier! Good luck this month!

chloedancer897 · 17/09/2020 17:20

Hi all,

I've been quietly checking the thread every day to make sure everyone is ok. Sorry to those with BFNs or AF has showed and congrats to those all who got their BFPs.

I'm now in fertile week and being so lax this month that I've forgotten to start OPKs! I'll probably start tomorrow. I usually ovulate CD13-14 so I know my body enough now that I probably don't need them but I just want to make sure I don't have a month where I don't ovulate. I've been stressing much less this cycle because I've got a job move coming up and trying to focus on that. However OH is really stressing. He keeps asking when FW is and when he 'has to DTD' and I hate that. He's cried a fair few times this month too which is unlike him. I think he's taken my stress! Continuing with the Accupuncture and doing yoga which help. I'll stay on here to keep an eye on everyone so I haven't disappeared. Just thought I'd give everyone a wee update xox thinking of you all xo

daisyorange · 17/09/2020 17:07

@Sully84 i find it really helps to remind myself of all of the other great things going on in my life when TTC starts to totally take over!

I find that the most positive time too. I stopped temping during that time and it was nice to take my foot off the pedal a little.

Good luck to you and all of the other lovely ladies on this thread xxx

Sully84 · 17/09/2020 16:49

I love the idea of a gratitude journal @daisyorange, what a lovely thing to do.

I’m trying to stay in a positive mindset that it will happen when it happens. I’m in the space between AF and ovulation though so always find mind set more positive at this time, hopefully it will continue into the TWW

AutumnDays90 · 17/09/2020 15:23

Ugh sorry for all the typos! Predictive text 😒

AutumnDays90 · 17/09/2020 15:21

@fafi it really surprised me. All of my antenatal care was at the hospital and they assured me it would be an automatically cancelled Sad

I had always thought something was 'off' about this pregnancy but after having my booking in and an early scan at with a heartbeat I had started to relax and thought my nerves were simply that it had been a surprise for us.

I am hoping we can try straight away, but having had IVF for our daughter... not show how successful we will be naturally again..

fafi · 17/09/2020 14:35

@AutumnDays90 Ugh about the text! This seems to happen to way too many people! I got a call for regarding my booking appointment after both of my losses! The midwife was super apologetic, but after the second time the hospital reassured me they would get in touch with my GP to cancel. It seems like such a simple thing but it shows how disconnected the services must be - sorry you had to receive that.

AutumnDays90 · 17/09/2020 14:19

Congratulations to @fafi and @Diorissimo1985 on your pregnancies! I am so sorry to hear of your previous losses, I wish you lovely and healthy pregnancies Flowers

Bad night last night, got a text from the hospital to remind me of my 12 week scan today Sad

It is 14 days since my surgery for MMC, I have been getting dark lines (but not darker than control line.... is that still positive?) on ovulation tests the past two days.

Is it possible I am ovulating so soon? My pregnancy test 2 days ago was a very faint evap like line so not sure if HCG levels are high enough to still be interfering with LH tests.

daisyorange · 17/09/2020 13:54

@Furbsies I’m with you on the positive thoughts. Have stared gratitude journaling and I’m really enjoying that 😊. Trying to remind myself ‘what is meant for me will not pass me by’. Glad I joined the thread it’s lovely to talk to others about this.

@RichmondLady1981 I think I will probably try and wait until Saturday when I’m due - depending on what my morning temperatures do! I would add a pic of my chart but don’t think I’m allowed yet as a new member. Fingers crossed for a sober party for you on Saturday!!!! Wink

Xx

RichmondLady1981 · 17/09/2020 13:43

@Furbsies when are you thinking of testing? @daisyorange- when will you next test? I read that 11 and 10 DPO more accurate with afternoon wee.

RichmondLady1981 · 17/09/2020 13:41

@daisyorange definitely not out at all. OMG we are exactly the same with our cycles. Too scared to test so just going to keep on waiting to see what happens. I feel a pinching on my left side and have done so for about 3 days. Nooooo nooooo I need to stop symptom spotting. I have a party to go to Sat night and don’t think I should drink if no period yet. Might have to do a test , at least if it’s a BFN I can go out and party!

fafi · 17/09/2020 13:39

So sorry to hear about your losses @AutumnDays90 and @KM89 - you're in the right place for sure!

@Lollol86 thank you! I hope all is well with you x

@Diorissimo1985 how wonderful! I know how hard it is to stay positive in these weeks but I also had two consecutive losses and now I am 13 weeks pregnant! It feels impossible but normal healthy pregnancies do happen after a loss/es! Lots of ladies in a group I am in have had bleeding like that and continue to have healthy pregnancies too. I felt so much better after I had my 12 week scan and the tempura prawn now resembled a baby! Hopefully you'll feel much better when you hit that milestone.xx
