@HappyVibes PreMom detects the peak once the levels start to drop. I’ll post a picture to show you in a sec. BUT if you suspect it’s too early, keep testing with cheapies alongside the CB and sometimes it can go down then back up again as your body might need an extra kick of LH for ov to properly happen. Once it looked like I’d peaked, but then mine went light and then darker again! It happens a lot apparently. Always good to keep testing a few days after your suspected peak to ensure LH doesn’t increase again.

Just be careful with using a new CB Wand thingy Half way through. You have start using the same device from just after your period as it takes ‘a baseline’ then waits to detect a rise in first oestrogen (flashing) and then LH (static). If you use one from the time you’ve peaked it won’t work properly. As you have no low baseline. Does that make sense? The best bet is to use cheap OPKs alongside the CB to see if they are saying the same thing.

Ps I’ve never heard of pink mucus at time of ovulation!!?? Is that a thing?

@Furbsies I can definitely see a line there...& usually I really struggle with seeing the faint lines but I haven’t even got my glasses on me at the moment & I can see one on there xxx

@Furbsies you are not out yet and there is something there but I totally understand you not wanting to get your hopes up. I'd go get a FRER and test first thing in the morning xx

I have tested this morning and it was the lightest lightest ever positive on the one step one. So I'm not sure whether this is positive or broken or if my mind is playing tricks showing me a positive... Think I'm going to have to wait for a couple more days before testing again although I feel like doing one again almost right now...

My previous test when I had my MC was sooo much darker than this, this seems like its almost invisible...

Woke up to a message from Natural Cycles saying 'We thought you'd like to know your cycle is very regular and your body works like a clock!'

Not a BFP this month but silver linings and all that :)!

@HappyVibes hey lovely I believe premom will show you peak when your levels start to go down again so it knows which result was your highest. If that makes sense I didn't explain it very well 😂

For example if your next result is less than 1.07 it will show today's as peak as it's the highest one before they started going back down xx

So ladies I’ve just done my second cheapie OPK and put it into Premom and got this. Does premom ever show a ‘peak’ or is it just high? I’m so confused ha. Sorry. I’ve only ever used CBD. My CBD today was static which is good woohoo. I know I may have peaked yesterday or last night etc, but just out of curiosity I’m gunna use cheapies now x2 per day just to see what the crack is xxx

Thanks @RichmondLady1981 for that...very appt for me this month as I usually have 5fertile days on average with CB. But this month I’ve had one flashy & then a static today. Which is mega short for me and I’m like whaaat! It’s all good cos we DTD last night anyway, and going to this morning & tonight too to be safe. But still a bit cheated of my fertile days haha. So I might use OPKs too just to see. I do have an incline that I did ovulate yesterday as I did have a slight tint of pink in my EWCM, which can be a sign of ovulation. Arrr so harsh I might continue with CBD too just out of interest (I have 3 detectors at the moment from all the packs I’ve used so can use one of them that isn’t on static at the moment. I’ve neutralised one already this morning by mistake from using the wrong one anyway). Xxx

Hey guys just a quick update for you all, been super busy with two cats ill at the same time.

AF was meant to show up today and didn't. Sooo I'll be testing tomorrow I guess. I don't feel any symptoms anymore so I don't think it's happened. I feel like AF is just taking its time...

I'm confused about what to feel.

@MinnieMouse4 I’d start doing twice a day above .5! It stays low for ages but once it starts moving it’s fast!

@RichmondLady1981 thank you for the tip! At what point would you recommend using 2 per day (going from the numerical reading Premom gives you)? I’m currently on a reading of 0.18 so think I have a long way to go yet! I started on a 0.2 two days ago so it is creeping up! Xx

@MinnieMouse4 no I don’t test twice daily until it starts to get higher. Let me know how it goes x you’ll notice once it starts to get higher you’ll get your peak really quickly! Don’t blink! 🤣

@Pugprincess that must have been so petrifying. I remember I had a bleed at 6wks with my DS and had convinced myself it was all over. It’s so terrifying. Thank goodness all is ok and what a wonderful scan. All the best for the next 9 months!!!

@Northernsoul90 that’s a great idea and I’m going to be doing the same. It’s lovely to have such amazing support from all you ladies but there has to be a balance in our lives doesn’t there! Looking to push my running on and get outside as much as possible even if the weather is bad. Love getting out for a sweaty muddy run in the rain. Makes me feel alive when work is getting too much! We all have to find that thing that takes us away from the stress.

@Bellabubble you guys are so hard to find! I wish we had staff who were as enthusiastic as you are. I love years 1 and 2. They are my favourite. I just got the deputy head position at my school but still teach certain lessons. So important for SLT to keep in touch with what’s going on in the classroom. Even the Head!

I have the same re EWCM. I read a lot about this and sometimes your body can gear up for ovulation but it doesn’t happen. This happened to me a couple of times and I immediately got a static smiley on the CB ov kit. I was using cheapies alongside thank god so I could see whT was happening. I was having a LH surge that was high... so my body started producing EWCM but it wasn’t actually my peak. Even though I got my static something told me to keep using the cheapies. I couldn’t use the CB as it stays static for 3 days afterwards and you can’t use it. The next day the line on the cheapie went lighter and then the following days bam... I hit my peak... much darker than two days ago when CB said I was ovulating. Yes it did it’s job in picking up a surge in LH but it wasn’t my peak... I had a higher surge 2 days later. That’s why sometimes we produce EWCM at different times in the month. I spoke to a gp about this. Sometimes our body tries to ovulate And gears up early some cycles and produces LH but then your body doesn’t actually ovulate, and then gears up and happens a few days later. I’d urge EVERYONE to use cheapies alongside the CB as sometimes it can indicate ovulation too early. I hope this makes sense.

Yeah it does sound like they are making overtures that another lockdown could be possible - I've just started my studies and it was all quite up in the air. The literal only upside I can see is that we will be at home doing the baby dance more! 🙈 Trying to see the lighter side of it as I really don't want a repeat of the spring..
