Also - please ignore the AWFUL bathroom. We just moved in and need to redo EVERYTHING! X

MRJ86 · 13/10/2020 09:01

Hi Guys, So I did another test this morning and didn't leave it for over 10 minutes this time, so hoping this is good news? I'm just worried it could be my old pregnancy showing up? I MC 18th Sept - but I did do a pregnancy test a week later which was negative? What do you think? I'm genuinely terrified :(
Thanks in advanced.
I hope everyone is ok. @Jazper Fingers crossed it's a positive - I just feel so unsure.
@Northernsoul90 how are you today? I'd do the same and go down the private route - just to get some answers. X

@RichmondLady1981 according to my app Sunday 6th- I stopped opks this month to take the stress away so I could have been later x

northerngal20 · 12/10/2020 23:38

@RichmondLady1981 ok thanks so much - that's super reassuring! also - your honeymoon sounds incredible!! and good luck to you with testing next week!!

@MinnieMouse4 yikes yeah that's so awful about the tesco tests! i'm not gonna buy any more of those

@Northernsoul90 i'm so sorry, that's completely rubbish. next monday . is ages away! hope you're ok.

@Furbsies :( fingers crossed for the next month for you. that's good to know it's in the normal range - and hopefully the scan will give you some answers

Furbsies · 12/10/2020 22:55

@northernsoul90 I think I had a chemical. My bloods came back with slightly elevated fsh but still in normal range for the follicular phase so hoping this month is better, have a scan next month to see what's causing the pain still.

RichmondLady1981 · 12/10/2020 21:33

@bxiiboo do you know exactly when you ovulated?

@MinnieMouse4 that’s soooo bad! I’m never going to buy one of those tests!

RichmondLady1981 · 12/10/2020 21:31

Where’s everyone with their cycles?

Anyone testing in the next week? I’m 6DPO and AF due Monday x

Northernsoul90 · 12/10/2020 21:04

@VP91x @Furbsies @MRJ86 Thanks ladies, I rang the doctors this morning who were useless and said the nurse would ring me next Monday?! I'm going to book into a private clinic I think for some testing done to check my hormone levels and I would like an ultrasound really. I think it's been a chemical I can't see what else it could have been but AF is yet to appear.

@northerngal20 Congratulations!! 🌈🥰

@msg92 by just commenting, u should get notifications now when people post

MinnieMouse4 · 12/10/2020 18:14

@RichmondLady1981 it’s the Tesco own brand midstream ones (non digital). I got 4 faint positives on all of them last month and then someone on here said they had the same but they were false and then a few days later AF arrived. I have since vowed never to buy that brand again and I’m trying to stick mainly to pink dyes xx

Jazper · 12/10/2020 18:12

Congratulations to those with their bfp's x

@MRJ86 I've had an evap/indent on FRER before but never one strong enough to photograph. That's looks like a faint positive to me.

@VP91x I am so so sorry your Gynaecologist was so bloody rude and ignorant with you. Surely he knows that PCOS is a major contributing factor to weight gain/management?!
I have a scan booked 31st Oct so will check in and let you know how it goes. I'm incredibly anxious and reading in to every little niggle or pain. I am feeling ok though, thank you for asking. Almost hoping sickness kicks in soon as it will strangely reassure me that levels are increasing and everything is as it should be...

@Bellabubble how are you feeling?

bxiiboo · 12/10/2020 18:07

Hi everyone, not posted on here for a while, lovely to see some bfps.

I was due af yesterday and my last 6 cycles since mc have started with brown cm a few days before af arrives and my cycle has been 28 days like clockwork.

Did an frer at 11dpo on Thursday that was bfn and again this morning.

Have got backache and have been kept awake with insomnia last night along with headaches like last time I was pg, but still cream cm.

Anyone got any ideas what could be causing it? I was excited until the bfn this morning as it's all symptoms I had last time 😔

RichmondLady1981 · 12/10/2020 17:45

@MinnieMouse4 what’s the deal about the test that gives false positives? No way that’s awful! Which one is it? I’d be heartbroken!

RichmondLady1981 · 12/10/2020 17:34

@northerngal20 ahhhh amazing! Please don’t be so hard on yourself. You didn’t realise! To put you at ease, I conceived unknowingly on honeymoon where I was drinking daily, eating sushi and daily coffee. I was an emotional wreck as I believed I could cause damage. The baby gets all nutrient from the egg yolk until a few weeks into pregnancy so there is no sharing of blood at this stage. I had a very normal and uncomplicated pregnancy and healthy baby boy. Relax and try to enjoy this amazing time!

Wishing you all the best!

MSG92 · 12/10/2020 17:07

How do I watch this thread? I'm TTC after a CP in July... Need all the support I can get!

MinnieMouse4 · 12/10/2020 16:53

@northerngal20 it looks like you are safe having done a pink dye one too! I could see lines on both xx

northerngal20 · 12/10/2020 16:28

yep @MinnieMouse4 you're right - i'm definitely going to take a couple of different ones before i start to believe it! hmm no i've never used one of those tests i'm afraid

MinnieMouse4 · 12/10/2020 16:22

@northerngal20 beware of the bottom test on your pic as I got a lot of false positives on those last month. You’ve done a separate test there which is also positive so I think you’re safe.

Does anyone have any experience with the hone bargain ‘Accu news’ tests? Both the dippy and the midstream ones? Does anyone know what miu they are? eBay says 10 miu but I’m just wondering if anyone here knows any different? Xx

2alreadywantanother · 12/10/2020 15:14

@northerngal20 completely understandable. Keep us posted x

northerngal20 · 12/10/2020 14:50

ok @2alreadywantanother thank you! haha ok good to know, it def does make you think you can take all these precautions and still it can go wrong. fingers crossed it'll all be ok - i'll take another test in a few days and until then i probs won't let myself get too excited..

2alreadywantanother · 12/10/2020 14:35

@northerngal20 ah no way. Congrats. No I wouldn't worry. My 2 previous pregnancies I would have drank the wkend b4 finding out and they are 11 and 10. Come to think of it, the last 1 I didnt and had a mmc 🤔 maked u think doesn't it.
The brown and spotting etc couks just be old blood removing itself from ur uterus.

northerngal20 · 12/10/2020 14:22

hey everyone! just catching up on here now - i missed so much! hope everyone is doing ok. i took a few days away to clear my head after what i thought was my period coming on saturday - i had some small brown clots after three days of brown spotting and a bfn on a clear blue (period isn't due til tomorrow), so i let myself have a drink and some coffee fully counting it as cd1, and started using my cup. but then the spotting stopped by sunday, and didn't come back so i decided to take a test just now - and i'm unbelievably confused now, are these false positives? given the clots over the weekend i'm worried it's ectopic or going to result in a chemical later this week? i'm going to wait a few days and take a first response if i don't have any more bleeding. but also if it is an actual bfp and i drank this weekend i'll feel so bad! argh what a nightmare

Lollol86 · 12/10/2020 14:15

@MinnieMouse4 I'm so sorry you are bleeding, really hoping it's just a normal bleed xx

Lollol86 · 12/10/2020 14:13

@VP91x I will update you tomorrow. Oh yes Lapland, I'm so jealous, my friend has just booked for Xmas eve there, cost her a fortune. Have you told Bella you are going?
Definitely ask to see someone else, my bmi is over 30 and I feel so self conscious about my weight, the last thing I'd want is some doctor belittling me about it xx

MRJ86 · 12/10/2020 13:25

Ah @MinnieMouse4 - it's awful feeling so anxious :( Just remember that bleeding is common in healthy pregnancies. So it doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. Check with Dr and in the meantime just monitor it (and try to take it easy - easier said than done, I know!). X
