My appointment was fine have another in 2 weeks time which is when we will finalise all the dates for starting which I'm hoping will be in the middle of September. The whole process of egg collection etc does not sound nice at all but at this point I am just really hoping it works out for us. I guess we gave one more month of trying naturally too as just on my af now and then in a couple of weeks would hopefully ovulate again anyway then IVF next cycle for me I hope! Getting all very real now x

Boobs have eased off must just be a weird ovulation thing but I’ve never had it before. Hope it’s not another delightful thing to look forward to as I get older 🙄

I'm not to bad at all 😊...7 days to go and I literally should ovulate around that time too according to my app which as been right the last few months I was trying!! Xx

I’m at the end of my fw - I don’t think I’ve dtd often enough though 😭
My boobs are absolutely killing me which is new for me at this stage of my cycle. Presumably it’s ovulation that’s caused it 🤷‍♀️

Took a bit off time off, had a 2 week holiday to Cornwall with my partner and 11 friends..it was the brilliant!! just what I needed! So excited for you about the go ahead with IVF..I bet your excited and nervous, I've got everything crossed for you ❤

@Ange211 I know what you mean with turning 40 and stopping I've been thinking about it too, I'm 37 (38 end of the month) I really don't want to hit that mark and be still trying, it's so depressing thinking about reality, for me personally I don't want to be still trying then at all 😔..fingers crossed it will come before then for both of us xxx

Well I’ve given Myself a deadline. I’d rather not have any more children in my 40’s…I’m 39 in September so one way or another I’m hopping off the rollercoaster in the near future.

@Ange211 I know this rollercoaster of ride is one I would really like to get off but I can't. Just coming to the end of my TWW and I'm 99% sure I'm out yet again. Just holding on to my hope of IVF working out for me x

I’m at the tail end of fw so will be back in the torturous tww soon 😱
We’re hoping that our holidays goes ahead though so watching the news and trying not to get pinged will hopefully occupy what little free time I have & make it go in a bit quicker.
My last af was 4 days late & my boobs agony - I was so hopeful & consequently gutted when it came. Ttc is such a cruel game.

Long time no speak ladies. Hope your doing ok. I'm just plodding along also enjoying the summer and the fine weather. Almost August again @Boo2020! Really hope it happens for you quickly. I have a date for my first consultation to begin IVF on 25th August hopefully September time we will be able to start. I'm excited to begin the process but I don't want to get my hopes up too much and I know I'll be devastated if it doesn't work out x

Hopefully it won't be long till your pregnant again, they said that to me before my second miscarriage (well unknown pregnancy) so that's where I'm at too xx

I had a telephone consultation with the consultant from the recurrent miscarriage clinic who was really lovely. There not a great deal they can do for me at this stage (got to get pg again first 🤦‍♀️) but she was very reassuring and positive.

I’ve actually been in this situation twice. My nephew’s birthday is a bittersweet reminder of my first mc (would have been same age) My brother and sister in law announced there 3rd pregnancy a week before Christmas 2 weeks after my 3rd mc - so I know 💯 how you feel. You’re happy for them, gutted for yourself and then you feel guilty for feeling that way.
Don’t be so hard on yourself - allow yourself to feel what you feel. X

How's everyone doing? I've just found out my younger sister is having twins, we were due around the same date, I feel so happy for her but I'm so sad..why is life so unfair..

@Boo2020 great news about your bloods hopefully down to 0 in the next couple of weeks and fingers crossed your cycle returns back to normal soon afterwards too x

@danni2020 that's fantastic!!! Not long to wait at all, I will need to save to if I go down that path but I'm crossing my fingers if we did some if our family would help out a bit and with our savings we could maybe get one cycle!

I went for my bloods today and last week they were 2987 today I got the call this afternoon and its at 88 after 7 days 😲..to say I'm happy us a overstatement! Counting down the days till August 28th when I can start trying again 🤞🏾🌈

Well I'm on the waiting list for IVF currently 6-8 weeks so not too long to wait. Will have to save as much money as I can the next couple of pay days to pay for it all but at least I have something to aim for and can relax a bit the next couple of cycles and not put so much pressure on. You never know something could happen before then x
