@Boo2020 no pg symptoms I have got a bit of cramp now though so af probably on her way. Yes usually very regular 28 days. I don’t do opks though as they send me crazy (well crazier than normal) 🤣

Boo2020 · 28/12/2020 13:41

@Ange211 same really here, a nice Xmas qt home but I got rather drunk 🙈 is your cycles usually regular then? My last cycle was 62 days 😒 (don't ask) but before that it was 31 days so I am basing it on that, also I've confirmed ovulation this cycle where as last cycle I don't think I ovulated (well I spiked twice, 3 days apart so I don't think my egg released)..
Its so frustrating isn't it?! Have you had any symptoms? X

Ange211 · 28/12/2020 13:27

@Boo2020 happy Christmas! We had a lovely quiet day at home. I’m cd 32 (4 days late) no sign of af but several bfn ic’s I did have a couple of Proseccos over the festivities as I really don’t think I am pregnant this month just seem to be having an unusually long cycle 🤷‍♀️

Boo2020 · 28/12/2020 13:01

I've not been doing opks this cycle however I'm sure I've ovulated with the usual cramping signs. AF will be due anytime between about 23rd and 27th . X

Missgoldilocks · 17/12/2020 13:26

@Missgoldilocks congratulations! I am so happy to see your update 🙌. I remember way back nearly a year ago when you were ellsbells and we were knocking round the conception boards together, and then in March I got my bfp and have had my twins now (on the 4th of November). You must be walking on air and just so excited and anxious about this, but enjoy every moment you can, you deserve this so much and I am just absolutely thrilled for you. So happy for you! 💜

Snowwhite2020 · 11/12/2020 03:10

Congratulations @Missgoldilocks I am overjoyed for you. You have waited so long for your little rainbow and now you have it. Enjoy every minute- you so deserve it! Our LO arrived a few weeks ago- 8lb 10 healthy little girl. Her birth was the best day of my life. I wish you a safe and healthy pregnancy. Love to you xx

Oops sorry

thosetalesofunexpected · 03/12/2020 08:55

Hi everyone
I am really into YouTube currently its helped me to keep sane l.o.l
Watching good music there.

I was watching that iconic music video from Pink Floyd "Another Brick in the wall" , and also Lulu' song the sound track of the 1960s film "To sir with Love " about black teacher experinces of teaching secondary school teenagers who are disruptive disillusioned about school system.

I found out both of these films were highly influential in different ways, for e g Pink Floyd"s Another brick in wall song helped to change people's perspective on corporal punishment in school to such extant that it was eventually phased out of school life etc.

Just curious what other films/music videos in uk and in the world have been influential and why? (thanks i appreciate any replies.

(Also any of the former real life pupils of The sir with Love film of 1960s and former pupils of Pink Floyd "Another Brick in the wall"song want to say about what they thought of the music video/film and what do they think of this being so influencial and add anything else of their experiences of school life or what their grandchild think of the film/music video please do share thanks.Xmas Smile

Well I've finally come on after 62 days 🥳 I honestly couldn't be happier, CD2 now for me so fingers crossed this cycle is the one! I will take your advise and start testing earlier straight after AF finishes 😊🤞🏾

Doveyy92 · 28/11/2020 17:17

Hi All

I just wanted to come on and share my journey, I am 28 and had been TTC for a year and a half without any luck, these forums are what I searched when I was looking for answers and all I could find were mostly people like me asking questions or women who seemed like they were pregnant but never came back to share or give advice, so I would like to tell my story in the hope it helps someone else!

After TTC for well over a year we decided to give it a break as you know it was starting to be very upsetting. We left it a few months then I decided to buy ovulation sticks off Amazon, I got the little cheapies and then spent £45 on the clear blue ones.

I had started taking the cheapy ovulation sticks about after a day my period ended.. this was because I had heard that some women can ovulate early and in fact miss there ovulation period if they are going by the normal 14day guideline, anyhow, i actually started ovulating on day CD11 but it didn’t peak until CD14, I hear TTC the before CD14 because it’s better if the sperm is waiting for the egg. So we DTD on CD9, 11, 14,16. In the cheapy pack on Amazon you get some HCG strips also, I started testing on 7DPO for pregnancy, nothing out of the ordinary, sleeping fine, eating fine, boobs abit sore but I’m always like that before my period.. , so around 11 DPO, I could see a little faint line, I mean you would need to squint to see it, didn’t think much of it. 12 dpo I tested around 6:30 am, that faint line got a little darker, but this time it made me wonder, I tested again on 12DPO at 14:00 and there it was, not a bold line, but was clear to see. We then got a Clearblue digital and it confirmed 2 weeks pregnant. Me and my boyfriend are completely shocked and overjoyed! I don’t think the strips are a coincidence, I made sure I tested a few times a day and tested early to make sure I wasn’t missing it, after a year and a half and not trying the strips we feel like fools! But everything happens for a reason I suppose, but I want my information to help someone so that’s the reason I created an account and shared. If I knew how to add pics I would send my ovulation stick app on for everyone to see what they looked like but I don’t know how to attach pics Blush but good luck to you all out there and il nosey in here every so often in case someone wants to ask me a question Xxxx

LAnna20 · 27/11/2020 19:59

@Ange211 sorry to hear that but as you say always next month , it will happen when the time is right . I am at the mo but only cd23 so still a few days to go. Just wish my bloody cycle's were regular x

Ange211 · 27/11/2020 19:27

@LAnna20 yeah 😭 never mind there’s always next month. You still in? X

LAnna20 · 27/11/2020 19:16

@Missgoldilocks thanks . I think I'll probably have to make a bit more effort for the next cycle though!
@Ange211 how are you? Has AF arrived?

Missgoldilocks · 26/11/2020 13:59

@LAnna20 we didn't dtd much so don't let that get you down!! It can still happen. I literally thought we had zeeeeeero chance this month because we didn't much bother! Xxxx

@katie1109 @BFP2020 thank you girls ❤️❤️❤️❤️
