Hi everyone back on here after a break too. Fingers crossed for you @Katie1109 it's looking like a line there to me too. You deserve everything to go well for you after all you've been through ❤️.
I'm still plodding along trying to get my thyroid levels down and still not there unfortunately. Had another blood test today so will see what happens.
Do have a video call with the fertility clinic at the end of Feb though so will be interested to hear what they have to say but no doubt just the same have to wait for thyroid levels to get down and stabilise.
Hope everyone else is well though and doing ok with this long process of TTC ❤️

@shona2020 sorry I've no experience but is your doctor not able to recommend someone to go to? If not I'd just do a bit of research on local clinics and go from there.

@shona2020 sorry I’m in Scotland so the system is probably different. My first step would be to find a fertility clinic with good reviews and then make an initial appointment to discuss your situation and options with a consultant x

@Katie1109 long time no see! I also took a step back and tried a more relaxed approach. Tbh I think I’m managing to keep the balance.
I’m sorry to hear about your recent losses.

we have taken a long time to heal since last miscarriage and decided on very much relaxed approach. That’s why I haven’t been on here, I felt like I needed to distance myself from obsessing, it wasn’t doing my mental health any good. Just vitamins, no opks, no fertility lubricants and I have a sneaking feeling it’s happening for us to kick off the 2021 with something positive for a change 🧐. I’m only 9DPO. Got a metallic taste in my mouth and sore boobs which I haven’t had since I was pregnant last time. This is a cheapie test this morning, because my POAS addiction returned with vengeance the moment I started feeling like something is happening!
I’m obviously very cautious, we’ve been there twice now. I probably won’t test for sure till end of the week - but we all know that’s not gonna happen x

We are trying to conceive more than a year. My hormones, blood test are fine according to GP.
My husband semen's report is fine. So Our GP recommended to go for fertility clinic.
But I have no idea what to do, how to start, where should go,what will be the first step?
I am from Ireland.
Your help will be really appreciated.

In non ttc news, I have managed to get booked in for my Covid vaccine on Wednesday though so I’m pleased about that 👍

@LAnna20 I guess it depends on your GP but I found mine to be very proactive in fact I spoke to her a couple of weeks ago (about chemical) and she was for referring me again! Girl I work with got referred after 6 months ttc and is now on clomid. Couldn’t hurt to ask x

@Ange211 no I haven't , I had planned to at the 12 month mark but kind of feel with all the pressure the NHS are under at the moment I'm hardly an emergency case. I couldn't even get an appointment for an ear infection a couple of months ago so I think they will probably tell me to leave it a little while longer.

@LAnna20 I think it’s different when you have children already. Not that I’m belittling mine or anyone else’s battles with secondary infertility but it is a comfort when you have a family. Have you seen your GP for tests? I’d get the ball rolling if you haven’t already because In My experience it all takes ages and I wish I had done it sooner.

@Ange211 well done for being as positive as possible. 13 months which I know is nothing compared to you , but this is for my first.

@LAnna20 this will sound bizarre probably but you kinda get used to it. My eldest is 13 next week 😱 and we started trying again as soon as I stopped bf him but it took 8 years until we had our second and then we just started trying again as soon as he was born. I’ve had a few miscarriages along the way too so I know I can get pregnant (despite a diagnosis otherwise 🤷‍♀️) but you just plod on, count your blessings and vent on groups like this when it gets too much 😘

@LAnna20 @boo2020 they’ll be nothing laid back about my approach this month. I’ve decided after speaking to GP etc that I more than likely had a chemical last month so I’m in overdrive! Here to a crazy tww for all of us 🥴

Hi @Ange211 nothing to report here. I am on CD15 so am somewhere around ovulation. I've not used opks maybe I'll get them out again next month , I just prefer the more laid back approach. I'll just be crazy symptom spotting next week instead 😂.

@Ange211 doing ok over here! How are you? My AF as only just stopped after 9 days 😔 CD12 now, really don't know what is going on with my cycles! anyway started on the concieve plus fertility pills about a week ago (just thought i might aswell give it a go) and they might get my cycles back to normal, either way I have nothing to lose..

Yep the opks started for me today too, honestly they do drive you to obsession don't they 😄 x

How is everyone? Anything exciting happening? I’ve bought some cheap opk’s even though I know they send me cray cray! Instead of a poas stick obsession In the final week of my cycle I can enjoy a poas obsession for the whole month 🤦‍♀️
