BFP rainbow babies

I got my three weeks + today.

Can’t believe it. I never got it with my last pregnancy.

I know they’re a load of shit, & should be avoided at all cost, but I just feel I’ve hit a milestone I didn’t hit last time.

Morning ladies, been a mad few days here, super busy. Congrats for those of you who have got your BFP's this week. It's not looking like I will be getting one, am currently bed bound with hormonal migraines which I get every month when AF turns up hope you're all doing ok and have a lovely weekend x

Got my dye stealer and also 2-3 weeks on a digital hooray! Still petrified but hopeful this is a positive sign. I want to book an early scan but can’t decide when to book it for, according to my LMP I’m 5+3 but if I go by ovulation I’m 4+2 (I have long cycles so I don’t think the dating from my LMP will be right as I know I didn’t ovulate until 27th August and my first day of LMP was 7th August) I don’t wanna go too early and not see anything. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? This is my first bub so I have never done this before!

@Sansa87 Funny you say that as I had the exact same convo with my partner this morning. Since last year I’ve gone from 8-10 to a 12 (which I know isn’t large but it’s large for my frame) so with pregnancy weight I’ll have a lot to loose after, going to really focus on eating healthy now and making sure I’m getting all the good stuff.

I would absolutely take gaining a lot of weight though if it enables me to grow a healthy bubba, I just wanna make sure I’m healthy as my BMI is now in the “overweight” range!

Feel queasy today and cramps in lower belly and back, hoping it’s the little bean getting comfy and not AF showing up.

Had a little nausea, & boob pain. Stomach pain comes and goes, though it is a little more intense at the moment, & I’m scared to go for a wee.

I’ll be 6 weeks this weekend I think, which is as far as we got last time.

I’ve also absolutely ballooned which is making me really insecure to be honest. I know it’s stupid, I’m fine putting on pregnancy weight, but I think it’s unhealthy how much my weight has gone up since May (at least 2 stone) I’m quite petite anyway, & I’m usually a size 6, but now I can’t do them up without a lot of difficulty 😔

Hi, I tested negative 😪. On to next cycle just waiting for AF to start. I knew I wasn’t anyway I just know when I am.

Petrified that AF is going to show today, every time I wee I check to see if there’s blood there ☹️ I’m going to do another digital on Tuesday (a week after my first one) and hope it says 2-3 weeks so that’ll show it’s advanced and I’ll then start booking things in. It was heartbreaking cancelling everything last time so I just can’t get overly excited right now. How are you? X

@ArjaD just checked and mine says ovulation between 24th-30th with the 28th being the optimal day I still have some tests ready for this weekend if AF doesn't show but trying not to get hopes up x

Gutted @ArjaD do you think the chemical messed with your cycle a little? it's not looking good for me either, I get horrible menstrual migraines leading up to, during and after my period and they've started now, plus the usual inflated boobs, cramps and mood swings. Don't know why but really thought we'd done it this month.

Sorry @ArjaD, that's really annoying/confusing.

Yesterday I had some light spotting which is really strange since I was CD 20 and cycles are usually 28/29 days. Was hoping it was an implantation bleed but it's much heavier today :( went from being happy I could be pregnant to worried my cycles are totally out of whack...does anyone know if you don't ovulate your cycle becomes much shorter? I didn't have CM this month so wondering if I didn't ovulate.

@savethewales Good idea to put the mind at ease before holiday! Yeah message me and we can do that! Stop eachother having to get a new mortgage for tests 😂

I’ve booked mine for 6 weeks and 3 days or something in the hope that something shows, it’s before I go away for a week so it might put my mind at ease!
I need to try and stay away from the tests, I might wait and do my next digital early next week and try and hold off a frer until Saturday. One app says I’m due Friday and the other says Saturday, so hopefully by then I’ll have some lovely strong lines! I’m the same for bleeding so hopeful I can get past that point and feel good about it! I’ll DM you and we could WhatsApp if you like? Xx

@ArjaD ☹️ Do you think it’s another chemical? I keep looking at that first test photo and it’s so dark. Have everything crossed for next cycle for you. I got a false positive on a blue clear blue last month and it was heart breaking so I fully sympathise xx

Thank you @savethewales thats super helpful! I’ll go by that for now then but think I’ll book the early scan for end of the month so I should be between 6-7.5 weeks by then, I’ve seen people go too early and nothing been picked up and that would worry me more than waiting a little longer.

I’m going to leave the tests alone for a few days, I’m going to do my final digital after the weekend and hope that’s progressed to 2-3 weeks and when I see that on the digital I’ll contact the clinic for my early scan.

Let’s defo stay in touch, when would AF have been due for you? Mines Friday.. I started bleeding around 5 weeks last time so I think when I get past the 6 mark I’ll also feel a little better xx

@Littlebee1990 when I booked my dating scan yesterday it said ‘you should have had a positive before x date’ xx

@Littlebee1990 I spoke to my friend about this, she’s 23 weeks pregnant and we both have longer cycles.

She said the doctor never asked the cycle length and everything, prior to the dating scan, went on her 1st day of her last period. The 4 week one is what I would go off x
